There are several AI SI fanfics on sufficient velocity forums. I was referring to some where the MC is ROB’d into an BESRMOW (brutally efficient self replicating mechanism of war). An example is ‘Commander’ by Drich. There are several others and of decent length as well that are similar. You should give it a try. The forums are pretty decent place to read as well. As for other western Sci-Fi novels, all I can say is there are far too many that are really quite good. I can recommend Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card for one. A really good soft sci fi novel (p.s the movie was absolutely terrible and in no way representative of the book).
There's the Bolo series created by Keith Laumer and expanded upon by others. A "Bolo" is an autonomous, AI controlled mega tank that gets sent to war zones. They have capital ship grade siege cannons and as such, if necessary, they can shoot down orbiting ships.
Artificial Intelligence. They way I see it is they are “Artificially” made by humans. They had their minds uploaded into a digital medium via human made technology therefore it’s not natural. The adjective of artificial is something made or produced by human beings rather occurring naturally, especially a copy of something natural. So yeah copying the human mind and replicating it as a digital instance sounds god damn artificial to me. Also your recommendation is the same thing. Unparalleled Path doesn’t have AI either. Hell they don’t even explain how he got into the damn ship besides reincarnation. Then these posts have nothing to do with AI at all!
