Well if she was uncontrollable but the OGFL and the OGKing still loved each other then locking her up might have been the only way for them to safely stay together. Please, oh please please please! I hope some kind soul will give us more spoilers.
I don't remember the chapters exactly but after ch 5(?) There's a time jump to give years later. Hui and Derek are together. Then it was revealed that Ela was the OG Ela but was reborn (perhaps she was transmigrated also? She also had the book same as Rosaline's) She turned wicked because in the previous life, when the book ended, she no longer knew what to do. Now that she's been given a second chance, sh wanted to make things right. But ofc tough chance of that happening because 1. She's greedy 2. There's already Rosaline lol So anyway in the scene where our FL was asking if she could resign, ML flat out said no. Then he thought it was due to FL wanting to marry so he sent the Duke who proposed to the Berit family away to the borders lol FL still wanted to resign so ml asked why, and she said she wanted to love a normal life: attend tea parties, take walks, etc SO he arranged a huge tea party for Rosaline hahaha. Of course Ela was there. When ML was taking a walk in the garden (he was taking a break; he took his work to the tea party lol) Ela took her chance but the emperor really doesn't like her so she was so resentful and it showed on her face, forcing Kahir to draw his sword. He always consults Rosaline before he kills anyone so he had a knight call our FL from inside the party where she was busy greeting the guests (there were about 30). Rosaline thought Kahir was in danger so she ran and she was crying. They had a sweet moment because she was running too fast that Kahir had to catch her, asking why she was crying but she couldn't say that she was worried for His Majesty. This is when Rosaline SLAPPED Ela, saying she doesn't care if Ela is the original, if Ela dares hurt Kahir, not even the author can help her.
Some little details but Kahir asked Rosaline to buy a pink diamond, which is very rare. She doesn't know it's for her haha but he eventually tells her. so she says it will take a while since the gem is rare. Kahir then tries to get the pink diamond from his crown and Rosaline stopped him haha anyway the nobles were rushing Kahir to get married, and Rosaline was given a week to choose a suitable Empress. She felt so sad for Kahir who will be trapped in a political marriage, so she was crying. ML asked why she was crying. ML kept asking so she shouted "IT'S FOR YOUR MAJESTY!!" Yeah so maternal love, my ass. That priest was WRONG. If he gave another advice maybe Rosaline wouldn't be too confused. At chapter 34 it's clear that the leads are starting to notice their growing feelings, bit they can't pinpoint what it is and exactly.

Yeah the slapping was amazing because Ela fell backwards with the power of the slap. And she also whispers in Ela’s ears, "even if you are the original girl I don’t care anymore. If you hurt his majesty, I won’t spare the protagonist, writer or god". Damn it gave me goosebumps. Imao I loved it. and kahir was very pleased when Rosaline slapped Ela for him . Actually Ela was glaring at him because Kahir didn’t give Ela attention like the original novel. So Ela was cursing Rosaline inside her head. Which was caught by Kahir. But when Rosaline came, he shamelessly told her that Ela was trying to kill him just to see what will Rosaline do when she gets mad. Also when Rosaline was crying when she was running to Kahir was because the escort knight who came to fetch Rosaline only told her that the emperor drew his sword. She panicked because she thought kahir was surrounded by assassins.when she saw kahir is fine. She ran into his arms without slowing down. Kahir lowered his sword and spread his arms. To disperse the weight he held turned along with Rosaline and put her on the ground.
Spoiler: until ch39 Kahir asked Rosalie to become his empress I will try to resume as much as I can well long story short the nobles are presuring Kahir to get married and they kind of have a contest(? to decide who will be the next empress and so our clueless protagonists go there, Kahir doesn't want to get married but everyone pressure him into this and Rosalie is giving the task in to find a suitable empress in a week and so Kahir decides a condition that every girl in the kingdom of marriage age can participate in the selection from every noble family(I don't remember if commoners can participate) well as Rosalie is the only daughter of her family and she thinks she is exceptent from the selection but Kahir tells her in front the nobles that there are no exceptions and she has to participate and she goes back to her family to prepare and still thinks she is just participating for appearances so her family is not sure and her brother doesn't want her to marry Kahir so he makes an appointment for her to go on a blind date with a banker thinking that if she marries that guy she can no longer be eligible for the selection and she goes to the date but its dissapointed when the guy arrives late and starts bad mouthing Kahir so she throws tea at him and then Kahir and Derek come out(Kahir finds out she is having a blind date he has a guard following her everhywhere to protect her when he is not with her and he was jelaous that Rosalie was meeting a guy for a blind date)and ask her is she thinks that he is a tyrant well its more like if she likes him or something like that well she doesn't answer him and he tells her that she is pretty and should go home to prepare and that they will meet in a week when the selection starts well he goes back to the palace and finds out that the empress dowager is meeting with Duke Magnes and he suspect that she is making her move for the empress selection and then the empress dowager goes to him and ask him if he can appoint Duke Magnes as one of the judge or something and he agrees and tells her on the condition that he will appoint a priest from the sacred land of Verlos(the priest of my last spoiler) and she agrees thinking that she can buy him then Derek tells him that they should hurry and form an alliance with the nobles and Kahir tells him that is better to find an empress candidate who can be by his side and so he thinks that Rosaline is the perfect candidate because she is intelligent, pretty and wise and that's she is perfect and nobody can have a problem with her so he calls her back to the palace and when they meet he tells her that she should be his empress PS: overall the romance is hilarious and I think it this novel would have been better if it was +r15 at least because Kahir and Rosaline have so much sexual tension and I end up wanting more of them and its funny because they are both clueless about their feelings both are jelaous and would do anything for each other

I read all the way to chapter 5; sorry if my summary is crappy: The MC gets used to her life in the novel, nobody notices any difference, her family loves and dotes on her. One day, her father talks about the secretary job for her brother, Roy,(I believe that was his name), MC goes back to her room, and she unlocks the box that she hid to reveal the novel that she was sucked into (so the book basically traveled with her). And once she reads that she and her whole family will end up dead due to her brother's clumsiness, she is determined to take his place as a secretary. Derrick works under the tyrant, Cahil, and is sent to the MC's family to find a secretary, so he won't be pressured by the work. Instead of the brother, the MC appears to Derrick and her father as she claims that she will take on the job. Her father faints from shock, as Derrick, was happy, on the other hand. The MC's family tried to stop her, but she is determined, so they have finally allowed her to go (not that they even had a choice) and she goes to the palace to the emperor. The emperor at first doesn't like her and says that she is prettier than him but after the MC praised him and told him of her work talents, he gave her a room next to his and says that she gets the job. The emperor later reveals to Derrick, that she is his perfect type. On the other hand, the MC is getting a tour around by a maid, and as they cross the 3rd palace, they meet the evil empress, and the sole enemy of Cahil (the emperor), who loves to kill people without reason. The empress isn't Cahil's mother, the emperor's mother already died, but the empress was on the previous emperor's concubines (or stuff like that) she wanted her son to be the one to take the throne, but her son wasn't bright, so no one allowed him to take the throne, the empress tried to get pregnant again, but luck wasn't on her side, because the emperor died, making her evil and angry because Cahil (the current emperor) was the one who took the throne. The empress didn't like the MC, she was both angry and fearful at her, so when she was about to slap the MC, Cahil (the emperor) comes in and stop her. He heard everything the MC said, and I guess he was touched that she defended him, so he protected her. Cahil, then made the MC say everything horrible about the empress in front of everyone, humiliating the empress, making some bitch named Angela angry. Cahil then takes the MC away, says that the empress will be lenient enough not to punish the MC, as he says that he'll be the one to "punish" her.
