Regressor Instruction Manual might be similar, I havent read the novel you're talking about but the one i recommend is about leveling up in a fantasy world with dungeons and stuff, the mc has a super talented one of a kind genius girlfriend but she's too dependant on him and she's really crazy, she's crazy enough to consider cutting his legs off so he wont leave her and stay with her forever
