    Easily infatuated or lovestruck. Depends on how the sentence is worded.

    Lit "the type that's easily infatuated".

    Not sure if there's a good analogue in English, but try "lovestruck".

    Thank you for everyone's replies. I went with 'lovesick fool', the main reason is that it's a noun. While there are potential application problems regarding the "fool" part... I think it's the highest match. An alternative could have been "lovestruck fool"... Though, I think that's less prevalent.

    Regarding the discussion of the term... I don't quite agree with the "easily" part.
    For me, the tones I get from the terms is infatuation, obsession, long-lasting. Someone who essentially has a certain love seeped into their bones.
