The crimson disciple's former cheerfulness was sapped away as the intimidating presence of the women closed in. "Junior sister Xiao Hong, you never learn. How many times have I told you not to approach Senior Brother?! Do you want me to bite you to death?" The disciple of the Dragon Way, Vibril went on the offensive as soon as she got near. "Fufufufu~ What a desperate little thing you are, always seeking attention." An eerie laugh came from Wumsy, the disciple of the Soul Reaping Peak. "There there, I'm sure Senior Brother won't like it if we fight a junior. Even though he's also vicious! Hmph hmph!" Soo of the Sacred Cat peak huffed. While Ricey, the disciple from Hazy Silence Peaks: "ノಠ_ಠノ" The Crimson disciple stopped in her tracks and tried retracing her footsteps back to her master but Vibril won't let her get away. Especially this time. "The Senior Brother has finally decided after years of waiting!" Her words had uncontrollable excitement. As if on cue, the other three's countenance also changed. "It's not like I would like to marry Senior Brother, hmph hmph!" Soo remarked but her face was already tinted red. "If you don't want to, then do us a favor and back out~" Wumsy danced to an unknown rhythm. "┐(￣ヘ￣)┌" Ricey shrugged and yet there was a hint of an idolizing smile on her face. This unexpected development threw the crimson disciple off-guard. "M-marry???" She accidentally asked out loud. Vibril smirked and showed off her hand decorated with a golden ring. The three girls also did in a dramatic fashion. The crimson disciple seemed to have heard thunder erupting inside her mind. "You four will be married to him?!" She almost shrieked. "Yes, please also tell the news to your master. The wedding banquet will be held on the third full moon of this year." The four female disciples rambled on about the wedding and taunted her more and more but she couldn't hear them. Vibril was irked by the lack of response that she tried pushing the crimson disciple. She *lightly* hit the crimson disciple's head. "Hey! Is a junior sister supposed to space out in front of her senior disciples?! Are you so rude that you even forget basic manners?!" "Well what can we expect from a disciple of unknown origins~ She suddenly appeared in Crimson Shade Peak one day. Even if Master Scarlet just accepted her by default, one cannot change a trash's innate personality." "(｀▽')" "Wow, even Ricey agrees. Hmph, impure creatures still pine after divinity. Not that I'm saying Senior Brother is divine. Hmph!" As the leader of the clique, Vibril wanted to prod the crimson disciple more but before she could touch her, she felt her hand burn. "Ah!" All the birds near the area flew away from the sudden scream. The crimson disciple raised her head of flames only to find out that the beloved senior brother was already in front of her, protecting his lovely soon-to-be-wives. Her eyes were shedding tears of blood as she asked. "Seems like it's true you're getting married?" The Senior Brother only stared at her but his stance was fully defensive, ready to defend his ladies. The crimson disciple gave a shrill laugh, looking like she was in a frenzy. A few seconds passed and her hair was still flailing wildly, burning everything it touched. Soon, the fire covered the training grounds and disciples steered clear from the scene. Nobody wanted to involve themselves as the Senior Brother from the Golden Brick Peak has the authority to finish a disciple who lost control. The crazed laugh echoed until it abruptly stopped. The crimson disciple stood straight all of a sudden. "If you can't be mine, then you better die!" Under the eyes of everyone that day, blood was shed in the training grounds. Chaos ensued. The ending was... The proud senior brother of the Golden Brick Peak, the pride of their Heavenly Crane Sect... perished. And the perpetrator vanished out of thin air. From then on, this became a legend in this part of the continent, prompting bachelors to think twice before building their illustrious harem. It didn't help that the crimson disciple and even her master was never found after that day. Rumor has it that they still roam the land, occasionally teaching arrogant harem builders a good lesson. --- Meanwhile, on the other side of the continent, the crimson disciple stared into space looking listless. She recalled how warm the senior brother's blood was as it flowed on her hands... until she felt a hand ruffling her hair. This person was the reason she survived that day. She was taken away and they left the sect, traveled all the way to the Southern Plains where they now dwelled. Leaning into the touch, she heard her Master's voice."You did well.
