    Tbh im not the type of person to read books especially English books since its not my first language.. but somehow I stumble upon manhwa and then dicovered that some manha I loved is originally a novel that prompted me to read novels and it went on hehe

    It's pretty generic. I like to see the characters and the story got reshaped with different tropes. My favorites are role reversal, time travel, gender bending, for want of a nail.
    Or see them live in alternate universes. And canon divergences, what if A made a different decision? What if X event never happen, etc.
    I want to see them live in different stories and different scenarios.

    And mostly because I got addicted lol
    It's a form of entertainment, I like crackfic the best, it's entertaining.
    Reading new series can be a chore sometimes, getting myself to know the characters and the stories. It requires some brainpower that I couldn't care to extend most of the time. But with fanfiction, I already know them, their relation to each other, I only need to get myself immersed to the new plot.

    Also, you know that elating feeling you get when you recognize a reference? That too.
