I’ve recently read “I can talk to Cats” and is now interested in novels similar to it. Requirements: 1) Modern life 2) Able to talk to animals (any of them) 3) The animals must play a big part as people in the story. Throw all the novels you can think of at me! Though I’m honestly not expecting that there will be many.
Pet King MC, the owner of a pet shop, installs this app that allows him to talk to special pets. He often even treats them like his equal and won’t make them do anything they don’t want to, even though he could clearly benefit a lot from it. All in all, a very heartwarming story that features the life of a pet shop owner and his animal friends. The only downside I can think of is the sheer number of chapters it has—the story likes to drag on sometimes, but for a slice-of-life lover like me, I couldn’t ask for anything more.
