What would you do if you were filthy rich?

I would:

Give the worlds most valuable wine to homeless people and see if they drink it.

Give out used gift cards with less than 5 bucks for Gucci and luxury places.

Donate a Lamborghini in their name to kids in Africa.

Buy them a house in Haiti or North Korea.

Have the worlds most valuable artist paint a picture of you having sex with a guys mom, sisters, wife and other women he’s close to. Then give it to him and tell him how much it’s worth.

Buy the clothes off beautiful women’s backs.

Become the king of an island with around 10,000 people on it. I could also pay some people to become my eunuchs so it seems more exotic.

Start having underground death matches.

Hide a billion dollars worth of treasure and make the world go crazy looking for it.

Create a space program to become the emperor of the moon and mars.

Start a harem and pay politicians to legalize polygamy.

Pay women to step on me.

 

I would make a really cool fortress on one side of town with armed security guards wielding paintball guns to stop people from getting through, and then having a cool vault with a cash prize for anyone who feels like they can get in and out without taking a hit. I'd also hire a legal team to hash out the details and keep it cool and legal.

 

So many things to improve, so many things to correct, so much corruption to stifle, and so much inefficiency in regards to need. If I was filthy rich, I would focus on one of these things to make the world better.

 

Money ≠ power.

 

I would buy a company to hire myself as a trainee, so that people can't say I haven't worked for my money.

 

I would buy a buying machine to keep buying buy.

Fund the R&D for safe nuclear power or fusion power along with other potential renewables. Give my parents and loved ones the life they deserve. Make high quality adaptations of my favorite light novels and invest in translation groups like yen press. Invest into Full dive VR tech. Buy a yacht for no reason. Buy native american land that was stolen and give it back to them. Rebuild my old schools and donate to the school district. Pay off the national debt. Find a cure for eczema. Buy an emperor workstation. Become a high level patreon for all my favorite groups and artist. Win a lottery by buying g a ticket for every number combination. Buy a hot spring and build a house next to it... sleep. A lot.

 

I would deck out a house for my dogs, get a lot of takeout, hire a part time cook, spend tons on novels, comics, etc, and basically never leave the house

 

I would buy a few sets of mechanical keyboard keycaps... After this I'm sure I would be poor again...

Probably tinker around with the green energy sector. There are so many cool unexplored things that haven't gotten the funding required to actually happen. Did you know that plants actually generate electricity just by existing and can be used to power their own growing lights? Stuff like that. I'd invest in researching the solarpunk future I desire. My ideal world runs on green, sustainable biotech. I want redwood skyscrapers, solar-power that doesn't run on lithium, and happy bees everywhere, so I'd likely give a capton of money to inventors with ideas that looks neat. Gimme the high-tech hippie elf future.

Then I'd build myself the worlds first plant-powered house I guess. If I could pay someone to figure out how to comfortably live in a tree, I'd totally do that. Give money to people with a more solid sense of charity (do I have enough money to fix world hunger? If so that sounds like a plan, I'd wanna see how it'd play out). Pay my loans. Be free to spend my time cultivating immortality. Plant all the sunflowers. All of them. Yes, even those sunflowers over there. ALL the sunflowers.

 

Do you expect a serious response?

 

1. Spend money on space development and start colonizing other human habitable planets.
2. Find an ape-like alien species that's good at fighting and enslave them.
3. Use the ape-like alien species to conquer other planets and sell those planets to rich aliens.
4. Sit on a futuristic wheelchair and call myself Frieza.
