I have to keep the quality consistent across chapters that readers have come to expect. It can't be worse and it can't be better - at least I try to keep it that way.

@checkman123 One reason for MTL edited novels is that readers can binge it in a day unlike having to wait years.

 

Reading my own mtl I dont find the chapters hard to read, I read harder and worse mtl *bloody tears*

 

Chapters seems to be unlisted from NU. Your translationa became good later on so i dont understand why someone would remove it.

 

@Yasi your translations were really on point as far as i can tell for an mtl translation, plus the amount of chapters you pump out daily, i will continue to read your chapters regardless of what anyone says, and i am sure there are many more out there like me who will agree. Dont stop your translations, you are doing amazing! I would rather read your translations than someone who does proper english translation, since you will release more chapters at a faster pace, and since it seems like you are improving in the english grammar criteria, it won't be long that you will reach wuxiaworld level standard for grammar and webnovel on steroids level releases.

@AvERaGeNP Yeah unfortunately that seems to be the case, could be either a troll or some other reason, but who cares, as long as yasi translates, i shall binge read! Plus Yasi does a better job mtling the chapters than mtl ( seems like a paradox, but trust me, it's not, since yasi makes the translation flow better grammar wise as you progress onwards into further chapters.

 

Is there people who don't like good quality content ? Are you serious ?

 

I've read like 10k chapters worth of mtl by now and trust me when i say i m stll not used to it. If you really are the translator i would say the translation does improve later on so i m not "getting" used to it. Tho i still dont understand why you would even say something about intentionally dropping the quality which makes zero sense.

The site is called MTL. Is it possible the translation has gotten better? Maybe? As strange as it sounds, I can't say the quality has improved and can only downplay it because it's MTL. I simply don't want to mislead readers.

The translations was already on thin ice anyways just because the site is called MTL. You can probably find a lot worse translations, grammars, punctuations, and etc...on NU that are still listed. The difference is that I'm upfront about mine being MTL with edits.

If I had called the site Webnovel or Tapread nobody would bat an eye.

Honestly I can't tell that it's MTL it feels edited lol, but then again I read YouTube comments and can understand a lot of messed up grammar without crying blood.

I think that mtls algorithms have probably improved... I remember reading a CN novel on MTL in 2018? Maybe earlier... I swear it gave me ebola... But recently I MTL it again and suddenly it's like I only have a cold...
