LCD Kill The Hero

I gave up reading this novel after suffering through ch-128 where EACH line of dialog was explained by the narrator by repeating the line almost verbatim and it was a mostly dialog chapter It's completely unacceptable.

 

It's probably because the worldbuilding is much better. Especially the system. It wasn't entirely believable that you could play Emperor of Solo Play as a lone player. In Kill the Hero the Necromancy is much better.

 

Ch 263
Isnt it very inefficient to make 1 death knight at a time? He could summon 5 skel knight and make them clear the floor. He could make 5 at the same time.

Also, I cant find the skill info, was there any statement that he can only make 1 at a time?

 

He had to let the skeleton knight reach a certain number of kills before it could change into a death knight. It would take the same number of total monster kills doing 5 at once or 1 at a time, while at least going one at a time all the kills are focused on 1 skeleton knight instead of being spread among 5, thus getting the 1st death knight at the fastest speed which could then aid in speeding up the making of the next death knights.

 

If the mobs come one at a time, yes its faster. But they have clusters of mobs around. 5 units killing 5 mobs at the same time is a lot faster than 1 at a time.

I actually really enjoyed this one

 

I thought you were reading the chapter where he summoned his first death knight and would soon see that he was, in fact, making more than one at a time. Let alone 5 he was probably making 20 at once.

"Of course, the other Skeleton Knights had accumulated a large amount of kills which made it easier for them to become Death Knights later."

 

The ending was kind of anticlimactic but oh well. At least it ended.

 

You get that a lot with Knovels. Story boppin' right along, speeds up to a crescendo leading toward a grand finale, and then... wheeeeeze. Not sure if the writers got tired of it, weren't really sure how to finish it off, or if their idea of a satisfactory ending is different from the west.

It was a fun ride up til then though!
