Request Finding who is removing Yaoi tag.

For some reason someone keep removing yaoi tag from novels. Anyone have ANY idea who it is????
I just wanna know WHY.

Well who every it is they want everybody to appreciate Yoai or maybe have more people join the fujoshi/fudanshi.... I think... we are all rotten to the core. ;3

The problem is that it'll only cause some people to be slightly angered, while others leave 1 star ratings out of spite, ruining the ratings of rather good novels in the process.

Tags are a shield, protecting those that do not wish to read about certain things from them and the novels from people who ruin their ratings because they accidently read something they did not like.

Mate it also stop people that wants to read yaoi, if they want yaoi they search for yaoi tag and simply won't find their novel because someone keep removing that tag.

hmmm either it's someone re-tagging something as shonen-ai instead of yaoi or someone is obviously trolling.
if it's trolling it is really annoying for both ppl who like to read yaoi and ppl who don't want anything to do with it.
do you have any examples of it happening? bc i have not noticed it honestly...

I like BL, but tags exist for a reason. They are there to benefit both the readers who would want to read such genres and the readers who don’t want to read it. Hopefully, it’s just re-tagging as shounen-ai, because otherwise I’ll do nothing because I am a lazy degenerate and can’t be bothered to actually fix the issue.

 

First of all, it's a Genre, not a Tag.

Secondly, could you give examples? I've just now went through the edit logs to check all changes from 2021/02/07 until today, and I didn't find a single case in which the yaoi genre was removed.

From what you're saying, it seems like it's just a case of @runsing's usual clean up to remove either Yaoi or Shounen Ai from any novel that has both genres in it. Since both genres are mutually exclusive and should never be on the same novel.
