It's a happy ending! Penelope ends up with Kallisto (the Crown Prince)

 

I'm so excited since SUOL mentioned that we'll see more of Kallisto this season

Spoiler: Eclise's ending

He loses his memory of her after saving her from the dragon thing or whatever. Its been a while since I read it but Penelope thought he died protecting her. In reality he somehow got flown miles away and lost his memory. He wanders around basically.

5 years later Penelope is working as an archeologist and he watches her. He's been watching her for like 3 years I think because Penelope spent a lot of time traveling for work. He doesn't know why he feels such a connection to her. Whenever he looks at her he feels a desire to kill her but doesn't know why.

She finally confronts him. She tells him to go to the Northeast (I think thats where his people are, I mean his rebellion sort of failed already but maybe they'll welcome him again.) There's not a chance they'll rise up again though, after their failed rebellion a lot of them were executed. The rest of his people were exiled back to their homeland.

He agrees and leaves her in the forest. She doesn't tell him why he should go to the northeast though.

His ending was bittersweet imo. He deserved to be free from Penelope who never really loved him, she only saw him as a tool. But I feel bad after everything he and his people have gone through tbh.

I was so rooting for him as the ML, but then i realized MLs in manhwa must be wealthy and have authorities...such as emperors, princes, grand dukes, archdukes, dukes,...

Guys in the manhwa we are at the part where Penny is going to buy Eclis things so how far are we from the hunting competition i can't remember since i read the novel a long time ago.

 

The hunting competition will happen at chapter 54 iirc, and now we're at 47+ something like that. So it should not take too far to reach hunting competition chapter i think.

 

The last new chapter of the manhwa included a bit of chapter 47 of the novel. Callisto appears in chapter 60 of the novel. So, in 13 or 14 more chapters (if there are no setbacks) we'll see him
