I read up to chapter 340ish and then started skipping ahead cuz the face slapping became a little too formulaic. So this was the big reveal near the end... Spoiler: The big reveal So the creation of the main system was that it would choose people at the verge of death and offer them the chance to quick transmigrate, and their missions are usually meant to fix worlds that had gone awry for whatever reason. As it happened, a lot of transmigrators were picked from this one world which had a high technological level, and the ex-transmigrators there started sharing info in an underground site, as well as figuring out how to reverse engineer / counter the being chosen to transmigrate thing. At first, it was a voluntary thing. The person who was picked to transmigrate could find someone from another world which is suitable to replace them, and then get their permission (maybe the other person wanted to adventuring or whatever). Then that other person would be sent transmigrating while the originally picked person would replace that person. Then human nature being what it is, these people went from choosing volunteer replacements, to finding people whose lives they want to live (because they have a better life) and forcibly making the swap. This is what happened to MC. She was swapped by a petty thief who wanted her wealthy background, handsome brothers/social circle, etc. And actually, this thief shouldn't have been picked to transmigrate to begin with. But what happened was that the counter-system built by this underground group started to gain its own sentience and became a second master system (or anti-system). The trigger for its awareness was that it came across MC as a child (her uncle was the raid target of another transmigrator) and she was kind to it. Thus the system became a little obsessed with MC, and caused the thief who was compatible to swap with MC. Then after MC finished her transmigration missions and returned to her original world, the thief who replaced her got sent back to her old life. The anti-system then secretly helped her to swap with MC again. And since MC didn't have her system with her, it seemed like she would never be able to return. But actually, MC had started putting the pieces together and just acted friendly with the anti-system (now in a human body), but really she began to secretly write a virus to neutralize it. (She also revolutionized the cooking industry, made powerful friends, and got the underground forum shut down.) Meanwhile, back on Earth, MC's brothers and her boyfriend (the film emperor, also ML) immediately realized she got swapped again. And the ML had also deduced most of the same thing, including the fact why MC's uncle kept getting targeted by transmigrators. It's because the uncle was the local world protagonist, and there's requirement for him to get married before his part of the "story" can end. So they get him to have a flash marriage + divorce with another system (in a doggy body, lol). Sure enough, at the time the (well paid) priest announced them man and...dog... the world refreshed and was able to link up to the main system again. The two systems on their side was able to tell the main system what happened, and the main system was able to reverse the swap between MC and the thief.

MC made some powerful friends in the high tech world via the power of gourmet food and they eventually shut the forum down and arrested the people. The anti-system likely fully destroyed once the main system became aware of it, and it was already weakened by the virus that MC had infected it with. This all happens starting in the ch 790s. Before that it's pretty much all entertainment circle face slapping.
Thank you for this info, I can finally give up on reading this. I MTL-ed this up to ch412 and I was wondering when something, anything, will actually happen with the plot. Does the MC actually ever have any actual threat to challenge her OP-ness? From the 400+ chapters I read, she was so OP that the story felt rather flat, like... there's no tension or excitement (for me anyway).
what chapter does the thief switch with the MC again and what chapter does the MC get her body back? And what happens during the time the thief steals the MCs body? Like the MC just got it back and was working on her reputation, so does the thief mess things up again? And does the thief ever get punished?
Can you please provide more spoilers? Like what happens once the switch between MC and the thief? Do they lock her up so she doesn’t ruin MCs reputation again? How did the brothers end up? Did the MC het married? Have kids? If so, how many? Does it have a extra plot about MC and ML like them meeting in a new world? Or last life?
