It can swing any way really, depends on the flow, for comedy sake it can end up in a harem situation to give the MC more headaches or he can end up with the hero.
Ah, what a let down this is.. Volume 1 was incredible. Volume 2-4 was tolerable but slowly pisses you off the mc's logic. Then comes volume 5 and all the things you've endured comes lashing out. Finally volume 6 I went to 'yes dude finally you recognized your flaws! Wait! What are you doing!?' as dumb shit being repeated again and ignoring the guilt for the sake of his own satisfaction. So much for being a 'friend character' when all he sees are just series of event for the story to proceed @goga read volume 5 till the latest parts of volume 7 that's being translated then you'll know why most people didn't proceed anymore and judging by how long it has been since this got updated I bet this has been abandoned because of that reason.
