    • Because Ning was from a prestigious family, even the fragrance she carries around are made by petals of the snow lotus, when fragrance from the petals mixed with a kind of Persian incense, it will generate hallucinations.
    • Luxia & mouse are watching Ning flipping the whole palace to find Luxia in a secret room that was built for Yan to satisfy sadistic nature (she enjoys seeing the maids tremble in fear before killing them.)
    • Then, it's show time; Ning started having hallucinations, she sees curtains being open and a floating mask but she got close the mask was on the bed (mouse was the one behind the floating mask).
    • Ning starts to get paranoid, she looks at the mirror and saw that the mirror that was not cracked previously had been bleeding from the cracks, thus she falls back and bumps into Luxia with a ghastly makeup.
    • In the end she fainted, mouse said that Luxia's makeup is so scary and she's like a real ghost.
    • Luxia said that she's been a ghost before so this is all to familiar for her (taoist arc anyone?)
    • The news of Ning getting sick after bumping into a ghost while the maids saw nothing and are alright reached JM, Luxia plans to use this opportunity to divert JM's suss onto Ning as well as to take the chance to have JM approve of her to hire a priest to perform a ritual.
    • JM approves, now Luxia can move on to the next step of her plan.

Luxia needs to drag Ning down this rabbit hole with her because JM can just refuse Luxia's request to hire a priest, but if Ning and the inner palace is involved, JM can't refuse because the matter is quite serious. And while Ning is being scared alone, Luxia told JM that she was 'sleeping' so she dismissed all the maids, who knew Ning would be so unfortunate and bumped into a ghost when she's alone.

    • Guess, who's the priest? It's mouse!!! Mouse is forced to memorize the script for 3 nights (bc he's the mc of luxia's plan) and when he finally rehearsed his act Luxia comments that it's grandiose but gives him a 0.
    • Luxia plans to slowly reveal her identity to JM with the ritual so the ritual must be perfect, this way she attract JM's attention.
    • The next day, mouse is performing a ritual, JM says that Luxia is able hire a priest that quickly will make seem prepared in the eyes of the people who don't know that JM approves of her to do so yesterday.
    • Luxia says that's because JM is eager that's why she is eager too, this is when mouse is done 'performing' the ritual and says the the child will bring peace and prosperity to the kingdom for hundreds of years.
    • Upon hearing this, JM thinks that this whole performance is just an excuse for Luxia to curry more favor, love from him in a very indirect manner.
    • Luxia asks the 'priest' if this has anything to do with all the stuff that's happening in the inner palace, the 'priest' replies that there's a black dragon residing in the inner palace and its energy is clashing with the energy of the child, if they don't get rid of the black dragon, the child will be in danger.
    • JM asks about the location of the black dragon, but the 'priest' only replies that if he wants to know where the black dragon is, he must look at it in a different angle*, after that he left.
    • JM tries to stop him by throwing a cup which narrowly misses mouse, thus mouse compliments on his skills, and everything just clicked for JM.
    • JM realizes Luxia's an agent and plans settling her right here and then but they are people watching who thought that JM is the black dragon because everything was fine before JM stays at Yan's palace, after JM stayed over things start happening, furthermore JM looks like he's gonna murder the priest. (which shows that JM could be the black dragon & wanted to kill the priest because he was discovered*)
    • Luxia has used JM's reaction to start a topic of gossip among the court ladies indirectly which cause him to be in a bad position, Luxia adds oil to the fire by saying that she knows that she's gonna die soon but hopes that the emperor will have mercy on the child.
    • This causes the court ladies to confirm that he's the black dragon because he won't let the child live.
    • This makes him mad, he has to act all lovey dovey with Luxia in order to save himself, this is going to be a test to both of their acting skills so he kisses Luxia (vomits) and tells her that he's not willing to let her die.
    • Both of them thinks that it's gross kissing each other, Luxia wants to vomit while JM is rubbing his lips with his sleeve.

*to the court ladies, it meant that the black dragon itself don't know that he's the black dragon, he has to get out (as in the mentality that it itself is not the black dragon) then it will only know that it itself is the one causing problems. just like the emperor who didn't know where the black dragon is until when he throw the cup, the court ladies think that he'd been exposed that's why he wants to kill the priest coupled with luxia acting like jm's gonna kill her, jm is being cornered to a wall and has no choice but to act.

to jm, the black dragon is luxia. mouse is indirectly telling him that the one has been causing problem for you is by your side all along but you didn't know because you didn't look at things at a different angle.

the spoiler's kinda long because i have to explain some shtuff and the chap's content is heavy as well

Are there any pages that collect overall synopses of the arcs? I've written some up, but wanted to know if there were.

Notes: MC = our Su Luxia, BR = Bamboo rat

Su Luxia reincarnates into the body of a Noble Consort. If things had played out like they should have, this character was supposed to have eventually won the love of the ML (Emperor) via her devotion. Prior to MC's arrival, the OG!MC had saved ML from an assassination, however in doing so she was left barren. This would normally keep her from becoming Empress, however devotion and love won the day. The novel's course was ruined because one of the concubines was also a reincarnator (R). Specifically, she was a book character who died but went back in time to her younger self. I'm uncertain whether or not she is the one who was the main character of the original book or the one who usurped the place of the rightful heroine of the book. I'm going to assume that she's the original main character, however because this one arc is a little vague, I'm going to just refer to her as R.

Since she was aware of what OG!MC did to gain the ML's love, she chose to emulate her and in order to prevent OG!MC from gaining the Emperor's attention, R basically sets her up to lose favor. OG!MC kills herself, which is when MC pops into her body.

MC sets R up by undermining her in several ways. She knows that R will be having a baby, so MC adopts a son from the collection of (more or less discarded) ML's children. To do so she has her interface Bamboo Rat (BR) fake an official decree. She specifically chooses one that has promise, but is completely discarded and would have died if she didn't adopt him. Hoping to disgrace her further, R brings this up in front of ML, only for MC to bring up the assassination and a prior promise that she could adopt any child she wishes. This makes the ML sentimental and he chastises R, particularly after MC insinuates that R was spying on ML's private matters. MC begins teaching the child, but instructs him to not appear so educated because she doesn't want R (or the other concubines/consorts) to see her as a threat just yet. She also dresses him in girls' clothing for a visit with the ML for this purpose as well (she doesn't do this any other time).

R gets somewhat complacent, particularly as she's about to give birth. MC is aware that previously R had been childhood sweethearts with ML's brother and that in the usurped plot, he was going to set up a supposed miracle for R after she gave birth, to make her child seem divine. As such, MC has BR put out a herald as well, as her goal is to later use this to make R look bad. Soon after giving birth the ML gets sick, something that the R knew would happen. She volunteers to care for him while he's sick, as this is what made him fall for the OG!MC. MC also visits the ML, using this opportunity to hint that R has been sleeping with the brother. Another concubine/consort that is battling with R uses this as an opportunity to outright declare that R and the brother are cheating and that the son is actually the brother's. She also shows evidence that the brother faked one of the two heralds, which causes the ML to assume that R had both heralds faked.

To prove her innocence R uses a then common parentage test that involves blood and water, unaware that it's unreliable because it'll always show positive. MC is aware of this faulty-ness and rather than have the ML test his blood with the baby's, she has the brother test his blood. Surprise, it shows the false positive. ML is furious and has the brother put to death and R exiled to the worst "palace". MC visits R, who by this point is fairly insane, and gives her the idea of doing a murder suicide if the ML visits her. He does and she offs them both. As he dies, the ML remembers all of the positive things about the OG!MC and realizes that he dun screwed up. (MC herself doesn't care as she's fairly disgusted by him.) In the aftermath MC's adopted son takes the throne and she becomes Dowager Empress. After handing over the throne to him, MC leaves the small world.

Su Luxia reincarnates into the body of a disgraced movie queen (OG!MQ). Prior to her arrival, the OG!MQ was set up by the original male lead (I’ll refer to him as AH for asshole hero). The two were supposed to meet in a hotel for a romantic date, however he drugged her and left her to be raped by a movie businessman so he could get a good role. The rapist has recordings set up and uses it to ruin her reputation and career. The OG!MQ kills herself and in the original book plot AH was supposed to rise to stardom, marry his love interest (LI), and apologize to OG!MQ’s grave. MC isn’t having any of that. She’s given two goals by the OG!MQ: win a major award (or get revenge? Can’t remember) and find love.

The system resets the timeline to just after OG!MQ was drugged and MC uses a tool to block any recordings and also rid her body of any drugs. Just as the rapist was about to have his way with her and after AH left the room, MC turns the table on him and humiliates the rapist. She takes blackmail photos and has the rapist deny AH the role he coveted. Aware that she will still have to star with AH on a film, MC begins planning. Of course rapist contacts AH to complain, so he’s wary of MC. He decides that he’ll act all nice-nice at the film set, as he can still use her as a way to get media attention.

At the film set MC ignores him and when he tries to grab her, MC is cold to him. Unbeknownst to AH, MC had paparazzi at the set and they report that he was sexually harassing her at the set. This harms his “good guy” reputation in the media a little, which makes his agent mad. This also hurts his chances at getting other film roles, as his people sell him as sort of a package deal – if they sign AH, then MC will likely join as well, as they’re dating. The media reports of sexual harassment put a damper on this.

To fulfill the goal of finding love, MC picks an “arrogant wolf pup” of an actor (ML) to star with her in the film. He’s pretty happy to gain the role, as he fell instantly in love with the OG!MQ after seeing an advertisement of her where she was wearing a fancy ring. ML has a copy of the ring made for him specially (important). He’s also happy at the idea that he can win MC away from AH, as he views him as undeserving – particularly as AH is also known to be dating LI. (AH had been telling LI that MC was chasing him around after he broke up with her.)

On set MC takes the opportunity to make AH look bad via a number of ways. She’s cold to him for the most part and also changes up her lines, resulting in AH fumbling his lines and ruining the take. MC has BR record the footage and send it to AH’s biggest rival, resulting in AH losing a big advertising gig when the rival anonymously sends it out to the media. AH decides to suck up to the MC in hopes of using her connections to make things better, but is denied. He then decides to claim to the media that they’re actually a couple. This is unsuccessful because BR deleted all of his proof of a relationship. The media and fans also pick up on the fact that MC and ML have matching rings via social media photos, noting that one of the photos was taken years ago, causing everyone to believe that AH was lying all this time.

AH makes one last plea to MC begging her to come back to him. She records this and presents it to LI, showing that he’s been very unfaithful to her all this time. LI is not amused and breaks up with AH, as well as telling all of her father’s business connections that they shouldn’t do business with him if they want to stay connected to her family’s powerful business. AH’s agent drops him, as he’s now a pariah in the star industry. AH dies alone and poor in his apartment. He’s only found a few weeks after his death, adding to insult.

MC accepts a film award and ML proposes to her. She suggests that they date first. MC takes 50 years leave in order to stay with the ML a little longer, however she doesn’t age so she has to put on makeup whenever they’re together. ML is aware that she’s not entirely human but doesn’t care. MC leaves the small world.

Our MC revives in the body of a vampire queen. The original work’s plot is about a male vampire (AH) falling for a human woman (H) who is also part of a large vampire hunting family. The original work had the original vampire queen (OG!V ) dying at the hands of the hunters, as AH had betrayed her. He and OG!V were engaged and during their youth OG!V had bound herself to him via a ritual that would make it impossible for her to harm him. MC is given the task of producing offspring. There are only two ways of producing offspring: sexual reproduction with another pure vampire or using a magical chalice along with the blood of a pure vampire. Since MC has no intentions of having sex with AH or any of the other pure vamps, she chooses the chalice.

MC makes it out of the dungeon by tricking the main hunter (MH), the heroine’s brother. She comes home to discover her home being ransacked, which she views as an opportunity to let AH know she’s still alive. AH is less than pleased, but has to play nice since MC is higher on the vamp hierarchy than he is. MC invites H to a party, knowing that MH will come as well. MC’s goal is to undermine the trust of MH in his sister, so she plays nice with him. She saves him from a surprise attack by another vamp noble, after which he begins to fall for her.

Inviting H to the party also has the bonus of unsettling AH, as he’s unprepared for MC to be supportive of his love. H also begins to get scared of vampires after she cuts herself and sees all of the vampires react with bloodlust, including AH. MC uses this as an opportunity to suggest that AH become human in order to be with H, as this way they will also grow old together. MC also preys on H’s ego by suggesting that AH will break up with her once she gets old and that he’s only interested in her blood. When it comes time for AH to take H home, they’re attacked by evil noble vamps. AH is kidnapped and H is given a weakness drug to put in her brother’s drink.

MC and MH arrive, during which time MC implies that someone has been leaking info to the evil nobles and that it’s H. H gets angry that MC isn’t upset that AH is kidnapped, but this only makes MH mad as it makes H look stupid and naïve. MC also says that H can’t do anything, which solidifies H’s resolve to drug her brother as a way of saving AH. MC of course warns MH of the drugging. He’s dismayed to witness her actually doing this and confronts her. Her justification? She wails that it’s TWU LUV and that AH has been abandoned by everyone. MH is not amused or swayed, informing her that this drug would have resulted in his death since the evil vamps would have taken that opportunity to attack. If he fell, then there would be no one to stand in the way of the evil vamps, who would then take over the world. MH banishes H from the family. MC has MH promise that he will not give in to H, no matter how pitiful she may seem in the future.

MC and MH battle the evil vamps and of course win. However the evil vamp claims that he still won, as he put part of his soul in AH’s body. MC was prepared for this and persuades AH to become human, as this will allow him to escape the pain, something H endorses. To do this she uses the bond and the chalice. This cinches MC’s overall win, as she can now use this power/blood to produce pure blooded offspring. MC chooses to stick around in the world in order to witness the downfall of AH and H. Years later her vampire clan is known for being noble and good to humans. While going through town her carriage is approached by AH and H. They were denied access to the power and fortune of either MC or MH, so their love and looks faded quickly under abject poverty as neither had any actual skills that would be functional in daily life. H is indignant that they can’t get any money from MC/MH and AH is mad because he wants to become a vampire again, realizing that his life was fairly carefree before. Trying to hurt MH, he says that MC won’t have anything to do with a human. Both AH and H are left to wallow in their poverty. Later that night MC turns MH into a vamp and goes into hibernation, after which she leaves the small world.

MC reincarnates into another small world, this one based on a TV series. In the original plot the OG!MC was the put upon, yet plucky wife of a man with a terrible mom who wastes money like it’s water. Her family was powerful and didn’t want her to marry AH, as he had zilch going for him. Despite him being a zero, the AH husband eventually realizes that his wife is the best. MIL eventually follows suit. This plot was upset by the introduction of a reincarnator who watched the original TV series and when she realized she was in this world, decides to steal away AH because he was played by her favorite actor. She also doesn’t see OG!MC as worthy of him because she’s chubby. To satisfy R, AH is using all of the household income to buy her fancy things and support her goal of becoming a dance hal singer. He becomes abusive to OG!MC and beats her, eventually pushing her against a grandfather clock. This seems to result in her death, at which point our MC reincarnates in her body.

AH brings his mistress home and MC meets them both. R tries to show that she’s more powerful and treasured than MC but is more or less stopped. The whole point of MC allowing the interactions and showing up was to give an excuse for her (MC) to not go outside, as well as to establish her looks to R. AH gets angry with MC, but isn’t about to throw her out because he’s afraid of her family. MC then loses weight and makes BR swallow a stone that will turn him human(ish).

Her disappearance from public also makes her protective brother very concerned for MC, so he arrives to visit her. Brother accuses AH of doing something to her, as he’s aware that he’s been cheating. MC chooses to go out in oversized clothes to appear frailer and also allows him to “accidentally” see the bruises that AH gave her. She also defends AH, raising affection points with him. Once brother leaves, MC says that she was battling with R because she’s afraid of his reputation getting ruined. She encourages him to take her on as a concubine, aware that R’s ego wouldn’t allow her to be anything other than the official wife.

MC owns several dance halls, which I think were included in her dowry. R is one of the singers, but she’s not popular, partially because she sings modern songs that don’t make a huge amount of sense rhythm or lyrics-wise in the past. MC decides to make her a popular singer, as this will help in bringing about her downfall. R doesn’t recognize MC’s new looks, so she readily accepts. She has R teach the other dance hall singers her songs, threatening her with blacklisting if she doesn’t. R agrees. MC sets R up to gain the attention of a warlord (W), who in the original series was pining after his childhood sweetheart and OG!MC’s friend. While R was initially only going to go for AH, she’s flattered by W’s attention, particularly as he was played by a handsome mega film star. R begins to go out with both AH and W, making AH angry.

MC begins planning for her divorce, manipulating AH into not using any of her dowry businesses, as he thinks that they don’t earn any money and because doing so would injure his pride. She also begins to sell beauty products based on designs suggested by R, only she improves them dramatically. MC arranges for some of MIL’s friends to witness AH confronting R and W, particularly R refusing to marry into AH’s home as a concubine. She also sets up MIL to look bad in front of those same friends, resulting in MIL turning against the idea of R marrying into the family. MC raises affection points with AH by allowing him to give R her old jewelry. She knows that R will see it as an insult to be given used things while AH sees it as a sign of acceptance. Sure enough, R refuses it and insults the items, making AH mad enough to negative compare R to MC.

Meanwhile, R has been using W to make AH jealous. MC hears all about this via W’s mom, who doesn’t approve of R seeing her son. R isn’t able to turn things to her benefit since she’s only approaching this with a modern mindset, instead of trying to consider things from the standards of the day. MC also decides to run salt in R’s wounds when she meets R and W by “coincidence” at his home, by mentioning that his mom is trying to set him up for marriage. R is angry, but she’s also greedy as she wants both W and AH. Since she’s not spending enough focus on either, her relationship with both is getting undermined by MC.

Later R refuses to drink with a customer, who demands that his cronies smash up her dressing room. AH comes in to defend her. Unbeknownst to him, R had just been confronted by his mother because AH was giving her the family treasures. While he was bursting into the room, AH pushed his mother aside, thinking she was one of the cronies. He also kicks her. This happens just in time for the local media to witness the encounter and report on how AH, a married man, abused his mother for a showgirl. In the aftermath R realizes that MC is AH’s wife and not a random woman. MC fires R from the dance hall, as she’s now bad news. R attacks MC out of anger, but is stopped by AH. She decides to take revenge by forcing them both onto the roof, where she threatens to frame them as threatening her if they don’t divorce, as she assumes that MC actually wants to stay with AH. Of course the media is there and reports on this. MC takes this opportunity to raise her affection points with AH while also ridding herself of him in a way that would make her seem blameless for the divorce. R is done with trying to seduce AH and assumes that she will just move on to W, unaware that MC has been arranging for the childhood sweetheart (CS) to arrive home safely. (Originally she was to have died in a plane accident.) Of course in the aftermath of the divorce MC’s family discovers the extent of MIL’s embezzlement of family funds and cruelty towards servants. MC also won the house in the divorce, so MIL now has no home, no money, and no servants. W sees CS and falls for her. R is not even a consideration as a mistress.

MC sets R up for a desperation move to get W to fall for her. R sneaks into his offices and tries to drug his drink, only for her to be caught and accused as a spy. MC saves her from the worst penalties by getting AH to marry R. R is of course unwilling, but is “persuaded” after AH threatens to kill her and marry her ghost. Of course at the wedding ceremony AH only talks about how awesome MC is, further insulting R. MC stays for a few years and meets up with R, asking if she regrets her actions. R, who is now poor and spends her days getting screamed at by MIL while she does menial jobs, gets angry and tells her off. MC then tells BR that if R had regretted her actions, she would have sent her back home. BR, by the way, has turned into a human boy via the stone by this point. MC leaves the small world.

MC has reincarnated into a small world where the OG!MC was a bullied schoolgirl. Prior to her reincarnation she was bullied by the heroine (H) of the original novel for trying to prevent the H from bullying Chinese exchange students and for liking the ML, as H said she was too ugly for him. ML passes by just as this is happening. When OG!MC called out to him for help, he said he didn't care. Out of despair she committed suicide. Just before she does, she calls ML, who tells her to just jump already. In the original novel this was meant to be a story focusing on a villainess who apparently turns herself around or something along those lines. MC reincarnates into the body just as she's being beaten up by the H and turns the tables around, instead beating her up and taking a blackmail photo. While leaving the scene, she runs into the ML and rather than fawning over him, tells him to GTFO of her way. This causes him to become interested in her. MC's goals in this world is to take revenge and as a side bonus, gain the love of ML. Of course MC is completely disgusted by him, so her goal is to break him entirely. She then uses a tool to raise her beauty stats to model quality, which of course causes students to begin to see her more favorably. MC is also invited to join the student council.

H tries using her family's power to force the school into punishing MC, but this backfires when MC says they have no evidence and that if punished she'll go to the media and report that a wealthy family was using the school to bully a powerless poor girl. MC wins this battle and in so doing, impresses the ML. H initially doesn't believe that MC is MC, but is made to believe after she's threatened with the release of the blackmail photo if she doesn't compensate MC. She angrily gives MC a blank check, which MC of course uses. ML is brought into the class as a new student, much to H's joy. It's shortlived as he instead wants to sit next to MC, leading to rumors that he's dumped H for MC. Later while MC is at a student council meeting, she realizes that H is trying to sabotage her, which she expected. ML appears and offers his help, but MC refuses since she knew it was a trick. This increases his interest in her, particularly as she's so cold since he finds that intriguing. The following day H tries to get a group of guys to assault MC, only for her to easily deflect their attacks using a tool. ML sees this and his affection points continue to rise for MC. H is forced onto her knees and explain why she bullies poor students, which she justifies by saying poor students are the playthings of the wealthy. MC says for her to remember those words.

When BR shows confusion as to why she didn't destroy H then, MC tells him that in the original story, H is actually not the powerful family's real daughter as she was switched at birth. To prevent the real daughter (RD) from showing up, the H arranges to have her raped. Ashamed, the RD leaves without a trace. In the original timeline the RD wasn't supposed to appear yet, as her attempts to contact the birth family were foiled by H and her appearance was delayed for two years. So of course, MC is going to prevent all of that from happening and ensure that RD takes her rightful place. To do this she needs to attend H's birthday party, which she accomplishes by accepting an invite from the ML to said party. Her sudden acceptance surprises ML, which entices him more with her unpredictability. Meanwhile H and her friends try to force MC to give in by getting her parents fired.

At the party H is angry that MC is there and ML's date. She throws a tantrum, which makes her appeal with ML drop. MC and ML dance and MC takes this opportunity to raise his affection. Jealous, H throws a drink on MC. MC goes to change and in the process, steals the phone number. When she returns, H reveals that ML left to pick up his sister. MC is fine with this, since it's part of her plan, and leaves to go save the sister from a group of thugs. Originally H was supposed to have saved her, but MC takes her place and in so doing, gains a strong ally that would have originally urged ML to date H. MC learns that her parents were fired, but just cashes in the blank check for a billion yuan (approximately 154 million USD) so she can send the parents on a world trip. This large sum draws the attention of H's parents, who question the withdrawal. RD is approached by MC, who entices her to take part in her plans.

MC is brought into the office by H's parents, under charges of extortion and physical abuse. She takes this opportunity to reveal that H isn't the bio daughter, RD is, which of course H and the parents refuse to believe. They go for a DNA test which obviously proves MC correct, however H is told by her mom that she is still her daughter, blood or not. This angers H, as her bio parents are extremely poor. This gets out into the school gossip mill and H is humiliated. RD is nervous about H and the parents, but MC encourages her to play the role of the good, sweet daughter for now. H goes crying to ML, however he coldly turns her away similar to how he turned away OG!MC in the original story. H throws a fit, which is witnessed by ML's sister, who tells her off. MC arrives and the sister recognizes her as her savior, raising the affection points with the ML. He's conquered. This all makes H so angry that she maxes out her evil stat, which MC wants. H spends her time sharpening a knife while RD wins over the mother, effectively taking H's place. MC takes this opportunity to make the ML dream of the OG!MC's suicide and his coldness, which torments him.

The culmination of MC's plans comes about during the school awards ceremony, where H tries to stab her. ML jumps in her way, so H stabs him instead. He's rushed to the hospital, H is taken into custody. Her life is officially ruined beyond even the wealthy parents' ability to repair. MC then erases her presence from the small world, making everyone but ML forget about her. When he awakens he asks after her, only to be told that she doesn't exist. He then spends the rest of his life trying to find someone who doesn't exist. He only finds solace in his dreams, which only serves to further torment him. MC has completely crushed his soul and his future, as he can concentrate on nothing else - even resulting to apparently taking drugs to sleep.

MC is sent into yet another small world, however this one is different since the author abandoned the story without completing it. This is a cultivation story where the H waffled between two guys: Master (M) and the Demon King (DK). H is basically a fuckwit (hell with it, I'm dubbing her FW since she's stupider than any other H before her), as she made huge mistake after huge mistake. Yet everyone still forgave her because heroine. The OG!MC was a side character who loved M but was essentially sacrificed to the demons so M could save FW. Meanwhile DK shows OG!MC that M is carrying FW away so he can tend to what seems to be minor injuries, while he leaves her here to die in pain and sorrow. MC has the goals of winning the favor of M, as well as eliminating all of the demons, as well as DK. BR warns her that because the world wasn't finished, it's also unstable.

MC reincarnates into the body. She's irritated she has to romance M, as he's not her type. But she has a job to do, so she stumbles into the cultivation camp with a ton of injuries. The big master sees that she's totally smacked around and questions M why/how this happened, discovering that it happened because FW went down the mountain. MC says FW was collaborating with the demons, which begins to smear FW's reputation in camp. M defends FW. As he's leaving MC points out that FW has caused a ton of problems, resulting in a ton of damage, some of it unable to be undone or made better. M agrees that it's pretty bad and beyond "she's just a newbie", so he decides to punish her. MC asks him to call her by name rather than title, as a way to make amends and also begin to show familiarity. FW gets whipped as punishment, during which she whines for M to save her, and is then taken to the precipice to reflect. MC is pretty disgusted by FW, not that I blame her. While there, FW is visited by DK, who takes the opportunity to break her out. Before they leave, he throws away a mushroom soup she was eating that M gave her. This soup was specially made, as it contained precious and rare mushrooms. (important)

While she and DK are out on the town, FW eats shitaake mushrooms, which causes her to get very sick, as it doesn't agree with the special mushrooms M gave her. DK gets angry and brings doctors to cure her, but as they are unaware of the special mushrooms she ate earlier, they can't do a thing. He slaughters them all while FW is in bed. Meanwhile MC takes opportunity to raise her points with M, after which he discovers that FW is gone with the DK. He and MC go to find FW, as M believes she was kidnapped, but instead discovers her flirting with DK. FW tries claiming that DK turned over a new leaf, only for MC to reveal that he murdered a crapton of people, which FW should have detected with her cultivation senses. Also, FW had previously promised to stay away from him. FW tries to get them to forgive DK, which MC says she has no right to do since he killed so many. M tries to connect with MC, but she refuses him, which he believes was because she is angry with him for defending FW so many times. It's an act to raise his points with her and lower FW's, of course. Meanwhile FW has been in a water prison. MC lets her out, knowing that she'll immediately contact DK to ask for the truth. MC talks to M and gets his promise that if FW screws up again, he'll kick her out of the sect. She gains more points with him and calls him by his name.

No surprise, FW does what a fuckwit does. DK contacts her, but rather than sending him away, she decides to go off and talk with him. MC uses a tool that will prevent DK's aura from being detected so FW and DK can get into a really compromising position. DK offers to let FW stab him with a silver knife capable of killing him. She obviously doesn't and bandages him up instead. MC retracts the tool, FW is caught. She tries again to say that DK is a new guy for reals this time, it doesn't hold water. DK and M fight some, the whole sect comes to help. MC uses a tool that tricks FW into seeing a ghoul instead of MC, FW pushes her away. M gets disgusted. DK tries to flee, but M wounds him as he leaves with a silver weapon. M tells FW that she's no longer his disciple, but doesn't get rid of her cultivation. (Doing so would immediately age FW to an old woman.) This makes MC curious, as it was surprisingly lenient.

Afterwards FW is tasked with menial labor. She tries to go see M after it's announced that the sect will wage a massive war that will end things with the demons for good. FW grows angry when people start talking that M and MC are a couple. Of course they slap her down as an arrogant person. FW goes to clarify things, but is turned away by M since it's none of her business. To get revenge FW decides to betray the camp by weakening their defense barrier so DK and his people can kidnap MC. FW is so stupid that she legit thinks that this is all they will do. MC manages to ward off DK and reveals that she set up recording stones near the enchantments, in so doing revealing FW's treachery. FW tries to defend herself by saying she has TWU LUB for M, which he refuses and throws her out. He then gives himself a major punishment for defending FW for so long, which MC sees as overkill. This confirms her suspicions that M used it to cleanly cut ties with FW and also set himself up in a major leader position. She just can't understand why he would want to push FW to DK. DK takes FW in. They bang. M and the others show up and they battle. Surprise - DK is now weak, so M kills him easily along with the other demons. M then removes FW's cultivation.

MC and M lead the camp successfully and she finally realizes what his game was: he used FW as a tool to destroy any competition he'd have for leadership. He also used her to destroy the DK, as he was aware that sex with FW would damage her lover's cultivation base. In other words, he never actually loved her. He further reveals that he's aware that their world is incomplete, as their truths and beliefs are flawed and some even contradict each other. He's also aware that MC is different, as she became practically another person overnight. M asks MC to become his partner. She refuses and tries to leave by killing herself. M manages to preserve her body, but doesn't keep hold of her spirit so MC is able to leave. However in the process M seems to become aware of the world outside of the small world, promising to find her.

In this world OG!MC is a young woman who appears to be a fairly good person, as she works faithfully at a crap job and takes care of her grandmother. She's approached by a creep, who tries to pick her up by offering a ride and then money to pay for her grandmother's care. He refuses and douses her with acid, heavily scarring OG!MC. Her grandmother has a heart attack and dies after learning of the acid attack. She tries confronting the creep, but is unsuccessful. In despair she kills herself, thinking herself powerless. She turns into a vengeful ghost, which causes a system error. As a result MC is only able to reincarnate into the vengeful ghost form. It's also unclear what her goals are for this world but revenge is definitely one of them.

The FL of this world is a Taoist master who exorcises spirits for a living and is a part of a powerful sect. She captures the spirit of OG!MC because she's haunting the creep. (FL doesn't care about what he did, just that she does her job.) Enter MC. FL goes to the site where MC is supposed to have been eradicated, only to find that she's still there. FL tries to defend creep, but MC is more powerful and kills him before escaping. When going to leave the world she finds that her mission grade is fairly low, so MC decides to continue the mission since she's never scored below S. The fact that the FL is entirely her type is a huge bonus. (Yuri arc?)

Back at the Taoist palace FL is scolded for letting MC escape. She remembers how she was brought into the palace as an orphan and treated kindly by the Taoist Master (TM), solidifying her resolve as she swears to TM that she'll capture her. TM says that she has a more important task that involves maintaining the boundary between the living and netherworld. She's to watch over a spirit sacrifice that will be used to maintain the barrier, using her spirit force to nourish the spirit in the meantime. FL is taken by the spirit (who is of course MC) because she looks so harmless, but tells herself that all ghosts are harmful and evil. MC seems to have picked up on the rest of her assignment, which is apparently to reveal the truth about the barrier and the TM, something that was glossed over in the original novel. MC decides to act like a true white lotus flower by cooking, cleaning, and generally being gentle and mild (as opposed to a fake white lotus, although since MC has BR do it in his human form she's not entirely unlike a fake white lotus). This of course starts to make FL fall for her slowly but surely, although initially FL is resistant due to her prejudice towards ghosts. However as FL grew up lonely, she really longs for a friend so MC uses this to her advantage. At one point FL expands the barrier to allow MC to wander. She comes home to find MC gone and believes that she used her, only to find that MC is protecting a cute little kitten. FL tells her that if she'd waited a moment longer her soul would've dissipated, further challenging her belief that ghosts are all evil. Reading over the original novel to determine what the real truth is, MC notices that all of the ghosts are malicious and at no point does FL encounter a kind one.

FL takes MC out and on a mission. On said mission the client is complaining that her husband is a vengeful ghost after he died in a car accident. MC notices that wife already has a new boyfriend and as such, gets FL to wait to eradicate him so they can listen to his explanation. FL is resistant since she thinks that all ghosts are bad, MC challenges this by asking if she's bad. FL agrees to hear him out. Ghost hubby says that he died due to a truck running a red light. He should've survived since the situation wasn't as deadly as it'd seem, but his brakes weren't working. He's worried about his wife and mother and upon returning, discovered that his wife had someone cut the brakes. However he wasn't interested in revenge until his wife threw his mom out of the house. His revenge? To enter wife's dreams to tell her to take care of his mother or he'll continue his harassment of her dreams. He makes some vow that impresses the FL. This makes FL wonder if she's ever killed spirits that were innocent and good people who were pretty much harmless. Sure enough, he was telling the truth and his wife and her lover were tricked into going to the police. His mom gets the inheritance and the guy departs peacefully. This further gets FL on MC's side. Later while talking MC tells FL that she has no memories other than being imprisoned in TM's palace. This upsets FL, as she wants to fulfill MC's wishes before she's sacrificed. MC forgives her and the two embrace.

The following day FL is whipped by TM for letting the spirit depart. She tries telling him that the ghost was peaceful and the victim, but he ignores her. She goes home, upset that her past actions of killing spirits indiscriminately has made her no better than a demon. She collapses in MC's arms. When she wakes they embrace and MC wonders if she would be as nice to her if she knew that she's actually the same vengeful ghost as from the start of the arc. FL goes to investigate, but finds resistance when she tries to find out MC's identity. MC leaves the home to travel (since the system allows her to do this despite the FL's barrier) and eavesdrop on TM. She discovers him talking with the ghost king (GK). Meanwhile FL investigates further and finds that everyone who knew MC all say the same thing, which is suspicious. She then meets a guy who tells her the truth, that she was killed by a god of death. It was covered up, but he remembers because of a protective pendant. He also says that MC wasn't an orphan, she had a cousin - the vengeful spirit that FL was supposed to have cleared away. FL realizes that OG!MC's death isn't a coincidence and that her sect is involved.

MC learns that the system will be going offline for maintenance, during which time she'll be cut off from the system and all her tools. If she dies in the small world, she dies IRL. The maintenance will lift only seconds before she's to be sacrificed, so there's a strong chance of her death. BR tries to get her to leave, but is unsuccessful as leaving would undo all of her hard work and result in a failing score. MC also recalls an agent who died, Zero, due to a maintenance period and implied to be as a way of defending her. She decides to stay, also because it's implied that she wants to save FL. The maintenance starts.

FL investigates and discovers that the sacrifice ceremony is unnecessary. She swears to protect MC. Investigating further, she learns that TM is in league with GK and that the whole purpose of the ceremony for him is to create a big crack in the barrier that would allow more ghosts to come through. This in turn ensures that the sect will continue to have power and followers. She comes to MC and tries to take her away. Of course TM sends people after her, but FL uses her heart's blood to create a strong barrier. MC is really taken by her. FL tells her that if she falls, to go look for the vengeful ghost. Maintenance is still active, but has one hour to go. MC uses her spirit energy to heal FL. They're caught by the TM. MC reveals that she made a talisman that will give her immense spiritual power, enough to tide her by until the maintenance is up if her aura is separated from FL's.

TM tortures FL. MC draws his attention away and reveals that the offhand line that hinted at the truth was that the sect had been in decline until TM: the real reason was that he was using the sacrifices to open up the crack to the ghost world. Also, GK is the prior Taoist Master, who apparently committed suicide. This is why the two were able to collaborate. MC also reveals that she's the vengeful ghost. GK and TM try to team up and destroy MC, however FL stops them. MC says that the underworld king is disgusted with GK. GK questions this, MC reveals to BR that it's just a ploy to give FL time to power up. MC uses a useless tool to trick them into thinking that she's passing judgement. System comes back up just in time. MC gets rid of the baddies and completes the missions, earning a SS grade. FL guesses that MC is not of this world, which MC confirms. FL asks if everything was a lie, MC tells her to come and find her.

Thanks Skai.ya for the other two synopses! I'll write up one for A literary giant's huge fall:

In this small world our MC doesn't reincarnate into the host body, as they're still alive. Because of this, she appears before the character in a small form, although she can occasionally take over the host's body upon request. I'll refer to the host as "A" for author. The premise of this small world is that it centers on a woman (P for plagiarist) who travels back in time and takes the opportunity to publish stories that she knew would be popular in the future. When the true authors try to publish their work or accuse her of plagiarism, she uses her clout and fandom to smack them down. MC is given the task of stopping her.

MC arrives just after A discovers that her story has been stolen by P, however no one believes her because A started publishing first. P herself doesn't do anything when her agent calls over the accusations, as she thinks that she's untouchable. A readily agrees to accept MC's help, as she wants to get even and have her work recognized, as well as stop P from stealing other people's work. First thing MC does is tell A to publish the end of her story. The reason for this is that since P stole A's story, the ending A publishes will of course be the true ending. Once it's out there, P can't use the original ending or it would be effectively admitting that she stole the story. She initially tries to write the ending herself, but finds that she can't. Attempts to stimulate her creative side just result in her becoming fat and losing some of her hair in a comedic fashion. Still thinking that she's untouchable, P has her agent hire a ghostwriter even though she's warned that doing this will result in a terrible ending and harm her reputation, if only a little. As expected, the ending stinks and the public is mad. MC advises against making the ghostwriter public, as now isn't the right time.

MC instead advises A to strike out at P by making a post drawing attention to the specific styles and trademarks that A uses as a writer and are present in the book P stole. A is disappointed that the post didn't get more people on her side, but MC says that the intent was to start the ball rolling on changing public perception and to get P to contact A for a meeting. At the meeting P tries claiming that she didn't plagiarize and offering to pay her off. MC takes over A's body and challenges P, taking the payoff but stating that it's just a down payment on what she really owes. She also hints that she's aware of P's time traveling, making P nervous. The point of all of this was to make P more nervous and uneasy, as she will be more likely to make more mistakes. P meanwhile hires someone to follow A's movements.

A continues to publish more evidence that she's the true author, getting more people on her side. There's not much that P can do at this point legal-wise, as it'd just make her look bad, so the agent recommends having a televised writing competition. They rig the competition a little by letting P know the theme ahead of time, giving her time to think of a good story from the future. MC is eager for this, as it'll be a way to trip P up. Competition happens and both P and A write a story to fit the theme. A famous agent (ML) is there to judge. In the original story he and P would have hooked up and become a couple, so MC wants to prevent that. P wins the competition, however ML mentions that her story is too polished, like it was set up ahead of time. Now that things are in place, MC springs her trap. She has BR publish a review about the story and predate said review to far enough before the competition so the public will assume that it was previously published somewhere. This gets more people to believe that P is a plagiarist and the competition ends with no winners, as the show cannot award P due to the circumstances. ML also questions why the characters in P's story speak in a different accent, as the average writer would choose familiar locations and accents when they only have a limited time to plan, further hammering home that P plagiarized.

ML picks A up as a client, much to her joy. Meanwhile, BR has been dealing with a ton of fan hate from P's fanbase. MC takes the opportunity to give P a bit of a face slap, as she has BR remove the post and make a comment that he's removing it because of harassment from P's fans, which makes her look bad. P has some difficulty with her agent, who is convinced that P stole the story. P suggests removing herself from the public eye, during which time she publishes more stolen stories. MC lets her rise, as this will just make P's fall all the more tragic. A rushes in and tells MC that she has to go to a gathering with ML, but she goes wearing casual clothes. When she gets there, she realizes that it's a formal event. MC steps in and goes to a nearby clothing store and creates a formal dress herself. While she's busy, P tries to seduce ML but fails. MC does some mild face slapping by calling P out for her bad behavior, P stalks off. At the event it's announced that one of P's stories will be made into a movie and that she'll be the lead actor. This makes MC mad, as the story was originally written by a cancer patient who would use the funds to pay for their treatment as well as raise visibility for their disease. By stealing the story P is effectively leaving the author without means to support themself. She has BR go pee and poo in P's food, which of course makes her sick. She vomits on an influential person in the acting world, ruining a potential connection.

MC has A transfer money to the cancer patient so that they won't die. She is also contacted by a paparazzo who offers to sell her pictures of P messing around with the married costar of her film (CB for cheating bastard). The images are useless for now, but MC has A buy the paparazzo's silence so that she can use him when the moment is right. She also wants to allow their relationship to heat up, which it does. MC assists in this process to make things go along a little faster while also putting P in Weibo's hot search for some nice photos, so she's put at ease. A wins a major prize and has become a media darling.

The time has finally come to make more of a strike at P and CB. The pair go to a haunted house and plan on banging in one of the rooms (classy), however A and ML notice their arrival and use some of the props to scare them. P flees half dressed and gets photographed by the public, harming her good girl image. P assumes that CB set her up, so she gives the media an anonymous tip about him cheating. He confronts P and they find out that neither was responsible for the haunted house incident. MC approaches CB's wife and shows her videos of him cheating. Initially reluctant to believe them, MC manages to persuade her to confront them publicly and take on a new movie role, as it will help her gain sole custody of their children. It's all set to happen at a big awards ceremony where both P and CB will be present. CB and P approach his wife with the intent of her helping them out, unaware that the wife is planning their downfall.

At the awards ceremony P is given an award and she invites the wife on stage to thank her for her help, assuming that she's going to do something nice. Instead the wife plays videos of P cheating with CB, which completely ruins both of their reputations irreparably. The wife dumps CB and chastises P before walking off. Afterwards, P is dumped by her agent and loses all of her money and possessions, as no one wants to do business with her. She's forced to live on the streets. One night she sees A and begs her to take pity, hoping to use her as a way to regain her publicity. A refuses, as she doesn't want to help a plagiarist. She also notes that CB has gone into gay pornography in order to make money. MC leaves the small world, as there's not much more to do. A and the ML are good friends and are clearly interested in one another, however if they get together that should be up to them and not because MC helped them.

    I saw the raws.
Second Prince hugged Luxia, he became Emperor and married Luxia. When Luxia returned to the system, the lady with brown hair and green eyes is slightly mad at her (maybe she scolded Luxia? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ). I think that lady is Tina. Nothing was said about CP tho.:hmm:

    • Five days later, Su Luxia is talking to the 2nd Prince and saying that since the 2nd Prince is now the Emperor, it is also time for her to retire/leave. 2nd Prince stops her, and asks if she remembers what he said at the dam.
    • He then says, "I once said, Miss Luxia has somehow made her way into my heart. Will Miss Luxia give me a chance? I'm only afraid that Miss Luxia only helped me out of obligation (t/n: because she claimed to be from the mountain of diviners), or that Miss Luxia is seeing someone else in me. At that time, it wasn't the right time or place, so I didn't continue. But now, I only want to ask Miss Luxia: once, you told me that you were willing to risk your life to aid me, and asked if I would be willing to accept you. Now, I am willing to offer my sincere heart to you, to love you and protect you. Are you willing to try and let go of the inhibitions in your heart, and accept me?"
    • Luxia gave pause, and moved her hand away.
    • 2nd Prince took that as rejection, and says, "I understand. Miss Luxia need not worry too much about my words. I am only overly honest/loyal to my feelings, and spoke what I felt. When my mother was alive, she said that in the Imperial family, it would be difficult for a boy to ever find love. I believed that too. Meeting Miss Luxia was an unexpected encounter. I felt that our meeting was too rare, too precious, and that if I missed it, I would never come across it again. As such, while I knew that Miss Luxia would reject me, I still confessed. If this has caused Miss Luxia discomfort, I apologise and hope you can forgive me."
    • Luxia, listening, thinks about his words - "a precious encounter..."
    • Luxia calls 2nd Prince a fool (affectionate), and says that 2nd Prince had better think his offer carefully - she says that she's got a terrible temper, and that she's easily jealous. If the 2nd Prince wants her by his side, she has to be the only woman he'll ever have. If he betrays her, she'll kill him. This is not a joke~ Even so, would he still want her?
    • 2nd Prince then says, I'd better be careful so as not to anger Xiaxia (nickname) and lose my life.
    • Luxia: "That's of course."
    • Hamster meanwhile is watching, and says, "She's already decided to stay on, and yet dawdled so as to get 2nd Prince to confess... Ugh! Women."
    • The scroll basically says that after becoming Emperor, 2nd Prince made Luxia Empress. He also doted on her solely, and got rid of the palace harem. When the court officials tried to protest, the 2nd Prince told them to mind their own business lol. Following that, the 2nd Prince and Luxia went around to unify the country and spreading peace. Their love was still strong after so many years, thus becoming a love story for the ages.
    • Back at Luxia's headquarters, she's trying to access some data that she has no clearance authority. Luxia understands that she isn't ranked high enough to get clearance. Hamster wonders why she's searching for data that even she, as the greatest agent in her team (and an A-rank), can't access.
    • The brown-haired lady is suspicious of Luxia because Luxia chose to stay on in the story world for another decade(s). The previous times she stayed on was to date some guy and release stress, so that was fine. But this time round the story world was of high difficulty, meaning that she didn't have access to the system tools. Yet Luxia even married the Emperor and risked her life going around the country unifying it. This was a very risky move, and uncharacteristic of Luxia's strong self-preservation instincts.
    • Luxia just says, "Maybe I was blinded by love. You know that whenever I like someone, I go crazy over them."
    • Because Hamster was looking so worried about being exposed, Luxia picks him up and puts him in her chest to tell him to put his poker face on.
    • Brown-haired lady then says: "Is that so? Well, I hope you know your place. Don't do anything that violates the organisation rules. Otherwise the organisation won't spare you." (t/n: is she a tsun)
    • After the brown-haired lady leaves, Hamster starts yelling: "Master, why did you change the 2nd Prince's face to someone else's, and why did you try to bring back his soul energy? Thank god you failed, but that's not the point - the point is that all of these violate the organisation's rules!!! If you were caught, we'd both be dead!"
    • Luxia tells Hamster that she knows her limits, and that she's only looking for answers.
    • Inside, Luxia is thinking: Rats. My leads have reached a dead-end. Looks like before I level up and gain clearance, I can only wait for another opportunity. Ling, we will meet again!
I really wanted to translate the confession because it made me feel something :' also, the art in this chapter is rly top notch

As the first person (in this story) in chat line, she is already fed up to all the girls delusions. :blobrofl:. Or maybe she is the most realistic one in the so-called 'female lead'

Ok, I want to see it:blobsmilehappy:

dumb ways to d-ie, so many dumb ways to d-ie, dumb ways to d-ie-ie, so may dumb ways to die~ (anyone get that reference? xD. no? i guess it's just me then... .-.)
    • JM kept sending gifts to Luxia in order to dispel the rumor (that he's the black dragon), but it doesn't work, the rumors are still circulating around thanks to Luxia.
    • JM just sent another batch of gifts to Luxia & he can't kill her because of the rumor, if he kill her, he kills the child at the same time, which will turn the rumor into a fact, thus JM said that Luxia is smart enough to use the baby as a shield (for not dying).
    • JM decides to host a banquet to see if Luxia's actually pregnant, after hearing JM want to host a banquet, Luxia went to the place where she hid the medicine that helps her fake her pregnancy, the medicine has been discovered.
    • All this is according to Luxia's plan, she wants the medicine to be discovered.
    • At the start of the banquet, JM asks Luxia to accompany him but Luxia refuse as she's unwell, so JM princess carries her while thinking Luxia's acting is damn good.
    • When JM carries her, she had a 'miscarriage', the blood writes: ' The Black Dragon is Here, The Child is No More.' thus, the court ladies are muttering among themselves and believed that the rumor is in fact true.
    • Luxia starts acting real sad cuz she lost her child, JM orders the servants to call for the imperial doctors and tells her that a fake pregnancy will have a different pulse from a miscarriage, she won't get away this time.
    • Luxia pushes him away while asking him why is he suspecting her faking pregnancy just to get more attention when he's the one who killed the baby, Luxia takes a dagger as she wants to kill herself because she doesn't want to receive this kind of humiliation.
    • Obv JM won't let her die, if she die, his reputation will be ruined as he's known as the black dragon who killed the child and the mother, but it's too late, Luxia has ingested poison before that.
    • At the end of the chap, Luxia is confident that the rumor will become a fact if she dies and she tells JM that they~ will~ meet~ again~.

any guesses to what might the agent's and Luxia's mission be? :blobthinkingsmirk:

Honestly speaking, Ruyan is a manipulative schemer but somehow she's actually the most rational(?). She did turn yandere in the end but then again her no.1 aim is the emperor's love, while the other betches are greedy for a lot of thing. Or maybe because she's the only one that's blackened, so she can't relate to the other delusional scumgirl.

more like, because she is a reborn person, she know that life is not sunshine (doesn't revolve around her). her chance of good life is emperor. And she plan to get her life will. it's differentwith another heroine, especially the cultivation one who has brain full of flower...

I can imagine that when the cultivator guy finally ascended to the same plane as our MC, after somehow finding out her goal is to revive Ling, he might try to find all the scattered part of Ling so he can be Ling himself or destroy them
