Have it occurred to you that you unfollowed a novel then after some time you saw an update and you have forgotten you unfollowed it(forgotten everything about it) . Read it to the point and discover you already read it and the reason why why you unfollowed it.
yep, happens a lot where I read a summary of a novel and I get super excited to read it and wonder how I missed it previously. Then i read to x chapter and get super disappointed.
Hmm, hasn't happened to me yet. I usually keep all my read novels in my reading list. If i unfollow a novel, it's bc I could not stand reading it any longer, and in that case I will remember that I did not like the novel if I see further updates.
Nope. There have been cases where I drop a novel and then try to pick it up again at a later date but that isn't because I've forgotten why I dropped it in the first place.
i made a reading list for dropped/unfollowed titles so i never read them again unless my reading list runs out of material
No but the opposite has happend to me where i dropped a novel cuz i could not get into it but loved it when i picked them up years later. Novels like a silent crown for exampel or the experimental log of the crazy lich.
Me as well have a reading list for dropped. But it happened to me that I went back to them to remember why I dropped them and read a few chapter then dropped them again at the same location
I have a reading list and bookmark folder (chrome) for dropped novels. I easily know that I dropped it by the first chapter and reasons why.
Yes, this has happened to me. Especially with one novel, which I used to see recommended a good deal, and I’d get excited every time. I eventually left myself a review as a reminder that I dropped this novel. Later, I created a “dropped” section of my reading list and this happens less often, although I do sometimes still wonder why I dropped something that sounds great from the summary.
Instead of unfollowing I just put it under a " " private tag. It's good to have them in separated reading list so you don't fall for the same trap twice.
Seems like other people already made a "dropped novels" list in their reading list, I did the same just because it's easier to keep track of them that way.
another reader of ELCL! Incredible novel once you chug through the first arc - had the same experience where I dropped the novel and picked it back up to find out it was a hidden gem. Kinda disappointed in the ending, and especially the after stories. Really hoped to see more of what the cast would do after the story when the author built up a humongous collection of characters and lore.
