Hello everybody!

Soooooooooooo happy finally I can join you guys in this forum. Thank you so much for the spoilers. just bumped into this novel few days ago and now im having fever trying to buy the book from Ridi. Im desperate as I love Riftan so much! . The story drives me nuts as I can only find the translated on lightnovel up to chapter 124. 1 chapter per week is waay tooo looongg. I can't! . I want to free my curiosity on every story of Riftan and Maxi. Can anyone help me please how to buy book on Ridi. Im stuck up to age certification something. too complicated. Im in Australia, can I still purchase the book?

So here's two different chapters from Book 1 and Book 2 that will give you an insight on who Richt Breston is. (Most likely a potential enemy later on.) He's the commander of Balto, Phil Aaron Knights which is one of the Allies.

This is from Book 1 after Maxi was discovered by Riftan from her disguise as a priestess. (during the war (1)) Nirta was badly hurt in the war so Maxi and Yuri Xion decided to visit him. This is the first time Maxi met Breston.

Maxi cringed close to the disturbing air emitted by a man. He jumped out of his seat and approached her.

Yuri Xion blocked him in a hurry, but the man's movements were so quick that Maxi was grabbed by her wrist and dragged out in front of him.

"Hmm, she's pretty cute, but she's no match for your princess."

"Richt Breston! Get your hands off her right now!" Yuri Xion shouted while pointing his sword at him. But the man didn't even blink.

"Hey, little boy. There's no one who's ever been safe with a sword in their hand. Are you ready to die?”

"She is Lord Calypse's wife! If you don't let go of madam right now, your biggest problem will be of your safety!"

"Ha! That's funny. I've always wanted to see that southern hybrid get his ass kicked!"

He looked down at her with sparkling eyes. When Yuri Xion couldn't stand it anymore, he tried to run towards him, but the men standing behind Breston pulled out their swords in unison and blocked the running figure.

Maxi held her breath as the situation was getting worse. It was more thrilling than when she faced the trolls in front of her.

"Hey, I heard you're a descendant of the Roem. As a descendant of Roem, don't you think this is ridiculous? How dare a Southern pagan mixed-blooded hybrid get the title of Wigrew!"

The man pulled her chin and sarcastically gaze at her chillingly.

"Wigrew is the hero of Western nations. It's not a name for a man with an immigrant mother."

Maxi's eyes darkened at his mean words. She momentarily forgot that she was shaking in fear and stared at the man. How dare he, a barbarian, insult the most noble and greatest knight in the world!

She couldn't contain her anger anymore and kicked the man's shin. Sadly, however, he was wearing cuffs. Maxi jumped up and was embarrassed by the impact of her broken toe. The man who saw the scene threw his head back and burst into laughter.

"She is pretty cute, isn't she?”

"Hey, let me go!"

She struggled to get out of his grasp, twisting her arms and legs, but the man overpowered her more simply than grabbing a flapping bird.

"Are you getting mad in the stead of that hybrid? Shame on you, miss."

"My, my husband... Don’t call him a hybrid!"

She was so excited that her tongue didn't listen to her as usual. Maxi's face was almost bursting with shame and anger. Breston looked down at her red face and smiled brutally.

"Your husband is a mixed breed." He spoke clearly before her nose.

"That's what’s written on his face. You still haven't noticed?”

"All, all, you...!”

Her jaw trembled with anger. She’s never been so angry in her life. She twisted her arm and desperately squeezed out an offensive remark that made the arrogant man's face shimmer.

"Rii, Riftan... You..You’re just jealous!... You know you’re not even close to the tip of his toes. Are you being cowardly behind his back? Shame on you!"

Breston's smile disappeared from his mouth. His cold expression suddenly froze her whole body.

Maxi looked at his cruel eyes, open shoulders and rough hands gripping her wrist with a frightened face. She wished that her body would stop shaking because then she would have punched him right away. She murmured in a dying voice.

"This, this... let go, let go."

"Now that I see it, I think you’re the perfect bride for him. A stuttering wife, it's perfect for him.”

Maxi's face drained of color. She wanted to refute something, but she couldn't move as if her tongue was stuck on the roof of her mouth. Her eyes were filled with contempt and shame. She bit her lips tightly.. Breston kicked his tongue and threw her arm like a cat tired of the mouse he was playing with.

The moment Breston’s body turned around, a heavy sound of hitting rang out. Maxi screamed with surprise. Before she could understand what had happened, Breston's surprised body flew away like a piece of paper. Maxi opened her eyes with astonishment as she watched the barracks fall apart.

Despite the shouts of men from all sides, Riftan raised the man who was sitting on the tent and threw his fist again. The face of the defenseless man who was beaten twice distorted like a demon.

"You damn bastard...!”

He quickly straightened his posture and pulled a dagger out of his waist. Then he spat out blood and rushed towards Riftan.

Maxi kept screaming tearing her throat trying to stop them. However, it was not enough to attract the attention of the two men who were busy snarling at each other like angry animals.

Balto's commander swung the dagger like an excited bull, and Riftan escaped the attack with a very simple movement. The next moment, like a blink of an eye, the dagger was then suddenly in Riftan’s hand. He overpowered the man so easily that he grabbed his chin and stuffed the dagger into his open mouth.

"You'll live a long life without a tongue."

He murmured harshly and pushed the dagger deeper into the man's mouth. Breston’s big body flinched and hardened as if he had been stabbed in the Adam's apple.

The northerner was about half as tall as Riftan, and looked heavier. However, Riftan simply overwhelmed him even though he was bigger. Riftan looked down at him, who has a dagger stuck in his mouth, and spat out in a dreary way.

"I'll put my heart and soul cutting out that useless tongue that urges the death of it’s master."

"Calypse! You should stop this right now!"

Balto's soldiers who were standing in the way of Yuri Xion, shouted and turned the sword toward Riftan. However, Riftan continued to speak coldly without any agitation.

"Do you want to see how fast I can cut his tongue?.”

Balto's soldiers, who were huffing as if they were about to jump at him any moment, stopped moving immediately. Their faces reddened with anger.

"You are a coward threatening someone! You’re a Knight!’’

"What a knight he is, threatening a woman, huh?"

His eyes burned like a black fire which touched Maxi's face.

"I've been fretting because I haven't been able to take my temper out on you, Breston. It was successful this time. You hit it right on the spot. Let's see your blood as you wish.”

"Stop it at once, Calypse! You attacked the defenseless Lord Breston. Don't think we'll forgive such cowardice!"

"I wouldn't take it as an excuse as a defenseless man when he charged at me with a knife on his hand.” Riftan mocked coldly.

"The weapon he was carrying was taken away."

Breston’s face, who was in an impotent situation in an unprecedentedly high-powered company, turned dark red with anger and humiliation. Maxi was at her wits' end, stood like a statue surrounded by a breathtaking tension.

Both were not moving, but it was too obvious that they were fighting a tremendous struggle. Blood was flowing on the man's neck and mouth. Then Riftan growled, giving strength to the muscles in his forearm.

"It's worth watching you shut up. I'll make you smile again."

"Both of you stop!"

A resonant voice rang out in a violent atmosphere that seemed to explode. Everyone's eyes, except for Riftan, flew behind his back. Princess Agnes was walking out of her way through the crowd of spectators.

"What the hell is this? You said you wouldn't cause trouble until the war was over!"

"He threatened and ridiculed my wife." Riftan recited to the point of sinister silence.

"I can't let it go without doing something in return."

"What Sir Calypse's saying is true! They made a mockery of the lady and made insulting remarks and actions. Lord Calypse's retribution is justifiable!"

Yuri Xion enthusiastically supported Riftan. Then Balto's soldiers, standing in his way, hurled insults at him.

Princess Agnes was rubbing her temple and gave Maxi a look for help. Maxi, who had been paralyzed, hurried to Riftan's side.

"Rii, Riftan... I'm fine. So... let him go."

Her stammering tone felt shameful, and Maxi dissuaded him with an almost dying voice. But Riftan didn't budge.

Looking up at his profile distorted by anger, Maxi carefully raised her hand on his rigid forearm. Then Riftan, who had been tense all over his body, muttered a small curse and let Breston go.

Balto's commander quickly escaped Riftan’s grip like an animal escaping from a trap and spat the blood coming out from his mouth. His dark red eyes were burning with hatred.

"Do you know what you did to me, Calypse!"

He shouted like an angry wild dog, pushing hard at Balto's soldiers who helped him.

"Duel! I want to have it right now!"

"If you want to be humiliated so bad, I'll deal with you gladly."

"I can never allow a personal confrontation!" Princess Agnes quickly stood in their way. Breston glared at the princess with his blazing eyes.

"You can’t stop me from seeing this man dead! No one can stop this duel anymore!"

"You crossed the line first! And Riftan crossed the line after. Both of you have already exchanged blows! That's enough!"

"It’s not the same!"

Breston’s wildly rough eyes burned red.

Second time Maxi met Breston was in Book 2, in Ethylene Castle where they were preparing their resources and planning the attack of the city of Mamul (enemy's base).

"You're here."

As she turned her head around, she could see Yuri Xion approaching her with his long legs. He looked at her with a worried look and said.

"When I saw Phil Aaron's flag, I ran right away. I was worried if those northern pigs were trying to do the same thing to you as before.”

"Oh, I was just trying to get out of my seat. I don't... I don't want to run into them."

"Give me those. I'll hold it for you."

Yuri Xion picked up the bones of Banryong from her arms. Maxi rolled her eyes.

"Where is Riftan....”

"Who is this? It's the dog raised by the white lizard.”

Before she could finish her speech, a husky voice could be heard. Maxi looked back with a flicker. Richt Breston, who was talking to Sejour Aren in front of the gate, was loitering their way before she knew it. It seemed that he had been trying to avoid disputes after finding out about the armor of the Knights of Remdragon. A man stopped in front of Yuri Xion and gave a belligerent look.

"No, should I call you a crazy dog now? You're already notorious. You're a descendant of Lord Lovar.”

"Don’t talk to me at will.” Yuri Xion spoke coldly to the point where his voice was chilling. "I don't have a hobby of talking with animals.”

"Puhaha, you still have a temper." The man burst out laughing with his huge body.

"Didn't your master teach you not to bark recklessly?"

"…No. Instead, he told me how to shut up anyone who talks recklessly."

Yuri Xion flashed his purple eyes and grabbed his sword handle. Richt Breston's smile became thicker. He leaned his upper body toward Yuri Xion and murmured low.

"I'm curious about that. How are you going to shut me up, Lovar's son."

Maxi alternated between him and Yuri Xion's face with nervous eyes. Then, Sejour Aren burst in between them.

"Hey, are you going to cause trouble as soon as you get there?"

He put one hand on Richt Blesston's shoulder and made a determined expression. Then the man shrugged his shoulders in a light manner.

"I’m just overreacting with a few words of joy."

"I'll do it moderately. I'm mature enough to know when to pick a fight.''

He twisted his lips when Sejour spoke solemnly.

"Do you think you deserve to say that? I'm sure you know that you've been famous for your combat maniacs....”

"Now I've grown up."

"I heard that you're also in charge of Phil Aaron. Please, don't disgrace your father's name.” Sejour sighed.

For a moment, a strong hostility occurred to Richt Blesston's face. Maxi held her breath. How much will it be for a tense silence to flow, the man unexpectedly nodded obediently.

"Okay, I'll be careful.’’

Maxi relaxed her shoulder. The man still looked disturbing and dangerous, but he seemed to have more self-control than before. She slipped on the hem of Yuri Xion's clothes.

"There's an empty table in the dispensary. I want to work there... Can you move my things?"

Yuri Xion, who was wary of an attack, finally took his hand off the handle of his sword. Then picked up the things Maxi was pointing at, put it on the side with Banryong's bones, and then nodded at her.

"Well, let's go."

Maxi gave a small sigh of relief, rolled up the parchment paper and put it on her side, and gave Arnett a nod as she watched them from a short distance away.

"I thought you were dead because he was such a mess, but I'm glad to see you’re fine. It doesn't seem fun to cut down a guy who had lost someone."

Regardless of her reaction, the man giggled and burst into laughter. Maxi shuddered at the sight of his reddish brown eyes shining like blood.

Yuri Xion threw out the luggage he was holding and pulled out his sword at lightning speed as if he couldn't stand it anymore. In a blink of an eye, a bright blade sat just above Richt Breston's shoulder.

"If you don't let go of your dirty hands right now, I'll stick your nose in a plate and make you eat it."

"I don't mean to hurt her, don't growl like that, so relax.’’ The man said with a grin.

"I just want to say hello. Hey, baby. Our last meeting wasn't that pleasant, was it? I was sad to hear that you almost died."

"If you don't let go of my hand right this instant... I won't stand still."

Maxi cleared her trembling voice and glared at him with a cold look. Then he turned Maxi around, smiled and let go of her hand.

"Oh, my God. She can't be shattered like the ethylene rock."

Yuri Xion quickly pushed her back behind him. However, the man slowly turned around like a cat that lost interest in the mouse he was playing with and waved his hand as he walked toward the place where his men were.

"That's enough greetings. We'll see each other often from now on, so let's get along."

Maxi stood behind Yuri Xion and looked at the man's back with anxious eyes. Sejour Aren looked down at her with a worried look and asked.

"Are you all right? Did you get hurt?.”

"It's okay, I’m okay."

Her forearm throbbed as if she had a bruise, but she said it in a nonchalant manner.

"I'm just... a little surprised."

"If Lord Calypse finds out that he's been rude to you again, he won't stand by."

Yuri Xion spit out harsh words with his teeth. Maxi looked up at him with a glare. Yuri Xion's face was still coldly hardened. She spoke soothingly to him.

"Rii, don’t tell Riftan.”

"He's disrespectful to his wife. He has to pay for it."

"I don't want to make a big deal out of this." Maxi shook her head firmly.

"To end the war safely... we have to work with Phil Aaron's Knights. I can't cause a stir already."

"It's about honor." Yuri Xion insisted.

"If he acts recklessly and pay no respect to madam, the dignity of Lord Calypse will be compromised. We need to warn him not to act like that again."

Maxi tried to refute, but when he saw his stubborn look, she shut her mouth. It seemed useless to persuade him. Sejour Aren looked anxiously at the place where the Knights of Phil Aaron were located and gave a heavy sigh.

"It's going to be a bumpy road ahead.”

And ofc, Yuri Xion snitched to Riftan of what had happened between Maxi and Breston and this was the result:

Looking at the wild faces of the beastly northern men, Riftan hardened his mouth. On his right, Yuri Xion, who was walking, said, pointing to a huge barracks next to the wall.

"That’s where Breston is currently staying’’

"You don't have to come with me."

Riftan spouted coldly and quickly crossed between giant knights armed with steel, a sword, and an axe. Sejour Aren looked worried as he chased after him.

"Why don't you calm down a little?"

"I'm calm. We’ll figure it out through a conversation, so stay out of it.”

He spouted coldly and approached the barracks. The northern knights who recognized him opened the way with an interesting look. Sejour Aren let out a groaning sound from behind.

"How can I not interfere when you’re about to go to war before it has even started? If you settle it with a conversation, we’ll die."

Riftan ignored his words and removed the thick leather cloth covering the barracks. Then, a luxurious tapestry, a bed made of layers of fur of all kinds of animals, and a burning brazier on one side of the barracks and a long table in front of it caught his eye.

Richt Breston, who was enjoying a dinner with alcohol and food in front of the table, turned his head toward him and lifted a silver glass.

"Long time no see, Calypse. It's hard to say that it's nice to meet you even with empty words.”

Without asking for permission, Riftan strode into the barracks and pulled out the chair opposite to him. Breston took out an empty glass and filled it with wine.

"I've heard that you'll be a Count soon. I'll pour you a drink to celebrate your success."

"Isn't it the same for you as you're getting a lot of work lately?"

He looked at the bayonet built on one side of the barracks and spoke. The giant claymore with a wolf pattern on its sword handle was a symbol of the Knights of Phil Aaron. Riftan picked up the glass he was handed over, drank it in one gulp, and added in a dull tone.

"I'll pour you a drink to celebrate your father's halo that won't even fit the subject."

Riftan picked up the bottle and poured it into his cup. The dark red liquor overflowed, wet the table, and poured down on Richt Blesston's lap. The smile disappeared from the face of the man who was leaning slowly on the chair. Riftan, who was facing his burning red eyes carelessly, put the empty bottle back down on the table and spoke.

"We have a knot to untie. I don't have to scratch my insides with childish provocations, but I will officially set up a place for a duel after this war."

“…….”

"This place is full of soldiers from the Seven Kingdoms. If you don't want to be accused of being the idiot that causes my anger, you'd better do it moderately.”

The man squinted his eyes, grabbed a large piece of meat in one hand and snapped it. Then he chewed the food and said in an ominously slow tone.

"I'll keep that in mind."

Riftan slowly rose from his seat. And as he tried to walk out of the barracks again, a voice full of laughter scratched his nerves.

"But I think you're mistaken. I didn't really talk to her to irritate you. She's quite interesting, she’s bold in what she does while shivering. She’s a pretty tempting girl to think about."

Riftan stopped walking. Richt added slowly.

"Who knows? Maybe she’ll become a widow after this war.”

The giggling man's face hardened. Before he knew it, Riftan, who was just around his nose, threw a dagger between his fingers which was on the plate.

A bright blade penetrated the plate and fell deeply on the table. If it slightly missed, it would have penetrated the back of Richt's hand. Richt, who was looking down at his hand with his eyes wide open, leapt up from his seat, muttering abusive language.

However, Riftan pushed him down with a ferocious force and made him motionless, then pulled out a dagger at a flashy speed and brought it under his Adam's apple. Richt immediately stopped moving. Riftan looked down at him with a calm look and murmured grimly.

"Did you forget my warning about you keeping your tongue safe?”

"…that can't be true. I have never forgotten the humiliation you gave me that day."

The man flashed his eyes and revealed his teeth. Riftan brought the dagger closer to his neck. Then Sejour Aren ran quickly and grabbed Riftan's arm.

"That's enough."

“…….”

"It's not too late to settle this after the war. I will be the witness of your duel." Sejour Aren looked down at Richt with cold eyes and spoke.

Riftan slowly stepped back and walked towards the barracks’ entrance. As if nothing had happened, Richt picked up the meat again and mumbled, biting it loudly.

"Let's be patient with each other. The longer we wait, the sweeter the harvest is."

I would just like to say thank you to the people giving spoilers! I just discovered the manhwa and finished all 18chapters, then found out there was a novel and finished all 124 chapters. And now Im attempting to buy the chapters on Ridibooks to satisfy my curiosity! However im not very happy with google translate when I tried the free chapters. May I know what you guys are using to translate or you can just read Korean??

Like some people here, I too just created an account to join the conversation since I find the novel is great and a lot of good stuff are shared here .
It’s so nice of you and other kind people who share spoilers. Really helpful and make me love the novel more. I wonder if the rest of Riftan’s pov will be shared here too? The last time @ainosz share was chapter 27 if I’m not mistaken.
Would really love to read the remaining chapters as well. Thank you so much in advance

In the beginning i didn't like her but by keeping reading than i saw that she's cute, and she cares about maxi but she's afraid from her father.

hi, what chapter is the rainshower part? Everyone seems to love that scene but, i do not think that i have read it. I have only been able to read though to 124 of book 1, on "light novel heaven" website.

After 3 days, I read the forums from page 5 to page 51. I would like to thank the people who diligently dropping the spoilers here. I can't stress enough how happy I am to know whats going to happen. I can't wait for manga to update.

My part favourite was Maxi and Riftan's conversation - that Maxi is asking permission to Riftan that she's leaving for Hogwarts (page 12 - posted by ainosz). Totally heartbreaking - I cried your eyes out. I was heartbroken for 4 days and read this part 10x:

"Since I wanted you... I always felt like I was standing on a hot charcoal fire.You know what that means? I couldn't stop for a moment. I can't sit or stand. Keep... keep running in a fire that might end at any time... You have to keep running without a break.”

"I... now I just want to be comfortable."

"If you leave, I won't wait for you any longer."

"By the way, don't think you're leaving for me. I never wanted anything like this. You're... leaving me for your own satisfaction."

I'm planning to register on ridibooks just like what other people here suggest. I think the author deserves to be paid from this beautiful novel that she written. I hope that she's ok. I read some comment here that the author has a psychological problem - but this is just a rumor. I hope its not true

I know the bashers in Korea are extremely awful to the point that the victim will commit a suicide. I'm pretty sure that people heard the news that lots of their celebrities and artist are committing suicide.

I hope author is ok and healthy. I've been thinking about her for the past few days.

I would really appreciate it if somebody can share the chapters when they have snu snu on book 1 and book 2.
I thought, Maxi and Riftan didn't have a chance to do it on Book 2 given their current situation and also because nobody mentioned it here in detail, until someone said that 18+ can't be posted here I was like - awww too bad!

I'm planning to register on Ridibooks, so if you could comment the snu-snu chapters, I would EXTREMELY APPRECIATE IT!!!
(lastly, no need to include the book 1 snu snu chapters that were already released in english translation - I'm well updated in English Novel and Manga/Webtoon)..

I was surprised by the way she carried herself during the Princess Agnes intervention scene. Rosetta didn’t even seem to flinch at every exchange they had with Riftan. She’s fit to be a Queen.

I had so much fun reading the spoilers because I really can't wait for the upcoming translations, but I'm confused. The latest chapter I'm reading is chapter 123 but while I was scrolling through the forum, it's chapter 61 hmmm so was the real chapters divided into two then?
