So, as I was going through this thread I realized some people had really strong negative opinions on it without even in reading it so I want to clarify some stuff for people who go through this thread before reading. Personally I don't like reading incest, but the biggest reason incest is a no go in general is because children born from it have a high chance of birth defects so I'm willing to forgive same sex incest in general. Another thing, parent-child incest tends to be much more of a turn off compared to sibling incest for many people (including myself) since it is pedophilia. Age of consent exists for a reason and children would probably not understand what they are doing enough to consent and a parent who has strong influence over them can easily sway their decisions making it non con no matter what. However, the MC is born retaining the memories of his 25 year old self meaning he can't really be influenced and it can be considered consensual. This point can also make the incestuous nature of it seem slightly less important if that makes you uncomfortable. Lastly, it's a web novel, it's really not that deep. Its an ancient xianxia setting, read if you wanna read something hot and smutty with some court intrigue thrown in.
As an immoral fujoshi (ONLY IN FICTION, FICTION, FICTION), this novel, plot-wise, isn't actually bad. Their relationship may not be most's cup of tea but their interactions, relationship development, and ML's jealousy are actually interesting and... cute. I read the MTL version until chapter 97. I want to read more but my brain can no longer take it.
