Who knows what Eros really wants, though? Maybe he wants Medea to be the whistleblower because it will improve her public image - you can't exactly have an Empress with a bad public image. (I mean, you could, but it wouldn't gain you any political support which is important for a ruler.). I don't know but I'm worried about the banquet - what's Perion gonna do? And yeah, Perion and Psyche definitely won't be escorted by anyone affiliated with Lady Medea because if Eros discovers Medea's connection to either of them, he will be suspicious.
I bet Eros will bring the downfall of Vasilios (Esperanto). It would be shocking if he didn't because of all his schemes and corruption. He's the cause of all the terrible rumors and political discord. I hope that once Eros goes DOWN, Medea, Psyche, and Perion will immediately ursurp the positions of power. All of them have a chance for the throne. Psyche and Perion could try to go for the Pope position, or Perion could claim the throne since he is a member of the Imperial family. Medea could become head of her ducal house and lead an rebellion. Psyche could claim the throne because of her position as Eros future fiance, but I doubt she would be able to do that with her meager political support. Or Perion and Medea could have a political marriage to as secure the throne. If they married, they could definitely take the throne - Perion has public support and legitimacy as a member of the imperial family, and Medea has political power. The main point is that when the Empire falls, our protagonists will probably rebuild the Empire and at least one of them, Medea, Perion, or Psyche, will take a position of power, whether they be Emperor, Empress, or Ppe.
Seems like our group of four (Medea, Psyche, Helio, and Perion) will be the new anchors of the empire once they defeat the evil. Medea=emperor/empress? (Dekis might come back and take the position of Duke Solon if he sees that it is reformed?), Psyche= Pope? (she is God's loved child after all, and I think the Pope is closest to God, too), Helio=Medea's aide (Helio is loyal to Medea and is also a good consultant, so maybe he would become the "emperor's aide"), Perion= IDK b/c his background is so unclear as of now (more on this in the next paragraph), Eros= 10 feet underground, Sh*tDuke Solon and other corrupt nobles= 10 feet underground, current Pope if he is bad (I don't know if he actually is though, but if he is....) = 10 feet under ground? Now, for Perion: His background is quite unclear to me. We know that he is a cardinal for sure and has some sort of divinity. I initially thought that he was just a part of the Temple Vasilios family and had no biological relations with the Imperial family as he is a hidden candidate for the cardinal position. However, Medea also said that he was part of the royal family in episode 51. This, to me, hints that he is a relative (half-brother? cousin? distant cousin/relative?) of Eros. This could be a reason why Eros hates Perion so much because if Perion is related to the Imperial family in some way, then he would have a right to the throne. The Emperor also seems to be on friendlyish terms with Perion as there was a rumor that he even asked of Perion to fight in the war and offered him the holy sword? I think someone mentioned that Eros might just hate Perion because of his divine powers, but I don't think Eros knows about that as he has never mentioned knowing about any divine powers of Perion. If he did know, then I think he would try to kill him and steal it from him like he wants to with Psyche to become a more "powerful God". So, this leads me to think that if Perion is realted to the Imperial family and Psyche becomes pope, he might become emperor? And, if he is not, then he might be the cardinal under Pope Psyche if she becomes one. If she does not, then Perion might end up becoming Pope (like @Lilyworld further explained). Perion is a really interesting character so I hope we get more insight and clarification into his background.
About the romance tag ... So, what's with the romance tag in Your Throne? Should we expect some future ships, cause I'm seeing a lot of Medea and Psyche ships (although I'm pretty sure their relationship is purely platonic.), Helio and Medea ships (Sadly, that's a one-sided love, and I don't think Medea reciprocates those kinds of feelings. She definitely cares for Helio, but not ... you know, romantically.), and Perion and Medea ships (which make a lot of sense because of that sort of belligerent sexual tension that there has been recently, what with him and her having a dual of wits and then an actual dual. So far, Medea only sees him as an ally, but who knows??) There are also Psyche and Helio ships, and apparently, people are also shipping Perion and Psyche, even though the two never even met! I'm wondering if we're going to see a romance or two blossom amidst all the death, scheming, and betrayal. Medea, of course, is amazing and if she ever choses anybody, I hope they are worth her. Psyche is an angel and deserves so, so, so much better but I hope she stays out of romantic relationships and learns how to be independent without relying on a man as a "god" again like Eros. I hope the romance tag is in there for mutual, happy relationships. But if the romance tag is in there because Eros and Medea (Thank goodness nobody sees this as a ship.) or because of Eros and Psyche ... well, I'm gonna scream then. Let's see some supportive, true romances, and not fake, sick, and downright disgusting relationships!
Maybe Psyche was just an easier target for Eros to steal powers from or it's because he specifically wants her powers since her and Perion don't have the same ones. I think once we get to know more about Perions background we will also know more about Eros and maybe even Helio since they have some connection too, or at least I hope we will. I can also imagine that Eros would want to display his power to Perion and show him that he too has powers in case if he really does envy/hate him for having powers while he doesn't. Which I find funny because Helio didn't have to spell it out for them that he worships Medea imo it was already very obvious from his behaviour. It was pretty clear that their power balance was off very early on that's why I never was into it (not that I'm into any ship atm because romance isn't the main focus here). But well it probably also has a lot to do with Perion lol.
and so im a perion x medea shipper. they have a good chemistry and as much as i love heli, he shouldnt refer to someone he loves in a romantic way as a "god". if they had a relationship, it would be hella toxic. also ive read this forum and i dont even know whats going on anymore. im so confused.
I think that romance in this series is nonexistent currently ep54 of the Webtoons all four characters have their own demons to overcome and I don’t think romance is on their minds especially Medea, she’s too power hungry, let’s not mention whatever is going on with psyche, let’s just hope she outplays Eros. (I’ve read some of the spoilers chapters and romance still seems nonexistent on the spoilers chapters) Also is it just me or does Helio love remind you of bam love for Rachel, but at least medea is no Rachel, but his love reminds me of bam in which bam love for Rachel was never romantic, the love of a child towards an older sister, towards the one who taught him everything, towards hell even a mother figure, as a friend, bestfriend, it seems to me that Helios love is that of familial love instead of romantic, let’s not kid ourselves his love will never be healthy, Medea at this point ep54 has no room for love and Helios is certainly not a candidate for her, she probably thinks of him as a tool to be used, a loyal tool and servant, she does cares for him but her love for him is limited to familial love like that of an older sister.
Medea reminds me of azula but if azula actually learned to view her friends as freinds and not people she could manipulate due too fear
Yeah. Medea's got the wits, ruthlessness, intelligence, ambition, and calculating XNTJ perfectionist personality just like Azula. They both have terrible father's, too ... but at least Medea treats her older brother better than Azula.
I ship Medea and Perion because of their dialogue when they talk - it's super dynamic and amazing to see too people who have different personalities work together to achieve their goal of bringing down Eros. Also he's probably the second best at swordsmanship after her. Annnddd they'd have a politically powerful alliance if they became a couple. They are more like equals than Medea and Helio, who have a sort of liege and knight relationship.

......I didn't know people could look so pretty when slapped that hard in the face until these pictures came out. Medea's gorgeous!! (Then again, we already knew that).
The Duke threatened Medea with throwing a chair at her (for a moment I thought he was going to do it) but somehow she calm him down... I wish I could enjoy this drama but Medea shouldn't be there in the first place. Also, the drama of Medea poisoning the Duke kicks in. The butler tested the Duke's food and he started vomiting blood... no idea if this is real or made up since the butler and Medea are working together and they might just be doing mental damage to the Duke. Also there was that weird scene of the butler with 2 bottles when he visited the meid. Plus, the Duke dying by poisoning after a fight with Mesea, turns the fake oracle in a reality and that's what Medea is trying to prove as bullshit with the trial.
