Request Forgotten game

Anyone can help me with a game that I forgot?

Pretty much the MC is someone tasked to deal with like Oni of Calamity or something. But instead of your normal Adventure type light hearted game, everything is just depressing with MC's friends dying and at the last part the MC can either choose to end it all by killing himself to cut the cycle of the Oni reviving or just live to watch everything loop around and continue to cycle. Almost similar gameplay like Ys 7.

 

What kind of game is it, which console(or PC), and how old is it?

 

Played it in PC and I think I played it in 2019 but doesn't know when it was released. It has a better graphics than Ys 7 that I'm sure.

 

What's the notable features? Art styles? Style of the world/time period/location?

 

Pretty much... medieval type? RPG.

 

Western medieval? Japanese medieval? Since you use the word "Oni" and japanese settings immediately came to mind

 

That I don't know. But I think it was mixed. There's a miko for that Oni as well.
