    I read through some chapters of the raw and saw this~
    Apparently when Leticia sees his face in chapter 26 and tries to reassure a panicked Erden that he is handsome, before she can say the word "handsome" her head goes painful and she receives a warning from some being that if Erden were to know of his true face, Erden will die. That's why Leticia can't directly say or make Erden realize he's handsome. Apparently it's a curse. D:

    What the heck that's so frustrating !!!:blobangery::blobangery: i guess we have to be patient on how she will break the curse ... thanks for finally providing us a reason haha (now I'm curious how his parents managed??? Wondering if they ever left hints or clues for the future spouse (MC) to figure it out))

    You know, I’d really wish the author would put info like this in the beginning, so we don’t spend 25 chapters thinking the MC is gaslighting her husband.

    I’m starting the manga and he just said he was ugly after taking off his mask and wanted a divorce cause he felt bad for his wife so can you tell me why he thinks he’s ugly? Is he crazy?

    cus he’s cursed! He is cursed to believe he is ugly, and when he looks at his own face he sees it covered with boils and warts! He doesn’t know that he is the only one that can see them.

    also if he ever finds out that the illusion that he is ugly isn’t real then the deal his ancestors made to keep halstead safe will be broken. That’s why he must wear the mask by tradition, so no one knows and accidentally tells him.

    It is so sad that this doesn't get enough love; it is such a cute and fluffy manhwa and I really love Erden and Leticia and how they slowly discover their emotions for one another. And don't forget that the art is amazing!

    Can anyone tell me what happened when the nobles or commoners or etc saw Erden's face when the curse got broken

    And also please tell me their age when they got married. I think FL is 11 or 12? (Correct me if I'm wrong).

    Okay so I just realized this is like a fantasy version of a modern-day newly-wed couple with babies (dem bebe golems) and fur child (scales=dragon) But may favorite of all the chapters is the house husband Erden. I mean in the modern-day couples women goes out to work while some husbands stays home and care for their babies (Most of my co-workers have their hubbies stay home and take care of their kids). While back to the story, I really like how modern-day simple things are incorporated to this fantasy novel and Erden is a big sim for his wifey. Haha.

    Hi! Can you please share what happens with mc's uncle and his family? I understood all of his assets were originally her family's.
    How did her family die?
    And did mc acquire that mine she was to inherit?

    Btw, I'm confused on why she's not using the multi-dimensional door to summon guns and other weapons. She used it to call for cat treats only lol

    Those are golem babies. They make the golem babies in chapter 36.
    Idk about weapons. She may ask for some in future chapters, but I think Letitia is more of a thinker than a fighter.
    She has also called for Iced Americanos. A lot of them. LoL.
