Anyone have any funny pet peeve stories to share? I have one! Once, I had a middle school teacher. His biggest pet peeve was pen clicking. He just couldn't stand that particular noise, you know? He would always confiscate the pens that students clicked with. Conveniently, his classroom had a window. Every time he heard pen clicking, he'd take the pen, open the window, and chuck it outside. Bye bye pen. It fell from the second floor to the... garbage bins below his window. I saw him chuck out a few pens during my year with him. But- only a few. Most of us came into his class prepared because every year of students before us would warn us about pen clicking. I think his window was a really effective way to deal with his pet peeve. Spoiler: And... there's a sequel! Actually, he hates when people read in his class as well. One day, one of my classmates was reading in class. He took the book, opened the window, and chucked it outside. He stuck his head out and watched it as it fell. Then, he asked, "Does that say "The Fat Angel"?" Spoiler The book's name was... not "The Fat Angel". No one ever read books in his class again that year. What do you guys think? Do you guys have any funny stories to share?

Yeah... and it was a library book too I think my classmate had to go out and find it during recess or something Though tbh the pens aren't a big deal. IMO.
There is actually a sequel sequel to this story~ I heard from my sister that all the middle school teachers had to switch rooms after I graduated, and I heard that he had to move to a room on the third floor with... no window. Good thing we aren't doing in-person classes anymore, because otherwise it'd be so sad for him.
Regular rhythm tapping against metal gives me a bad headache and it's an easy way to make an easygoing person like me blow up in anger.
