Discussion What is your eyesight's grade?

I am nearsighted with astigmatism... My eyesight is -2.25 (left) and -2.50 (right), my astigmatism affected my nearsightedness (astigmatism = -0.50 (left) and -0.75 (right)) so supposed to be, my vision should be -1.75, both eyes.

 

Haha, my eyesights probably around -7 or -8 in both eyes, but whats astigmatism?

 

I’m nearsighted. I don’t keep track of the numbers. Both eyes are nearsighted, but my left, which is my dominant eye, is weaker.

 

1,25 in both. So 0,25 above the norm

 

Astigmatism is a common and generally treatable imperfection in the curvature of your eye that causes blurred distance and near vision. Astigmatism occurs when either the front surface of your eye (cornea) or the lens, inside your eye, has mismatched curves.

In short, my eyes' cornea was curved... It was in born (from what I heard)...

 

I'm quite jealous... I hate my glasses.

 

I have to wear glasses when I drive or I can't read the street signs until I'm in the intersection.

 

I forget my numbers, but I'm pretty close to being technically blind. If I knock my glasses away in the morning when I wake up, it can feel pretty desperate trying to find them and hoping I don't accidently crush them.

I have my younger siblings to come and find me my glasses... I can still see without one but my eyes hurts... I bet your eyesight's grade was worse than me. Bless you!! Hwaiting

I'm totally jealous... Like, how do you people even have those kind of eyesights?

P.S. I honestly know why my eyes got worse... I stare at bright things (sun, light, etc) and the radiation from the gadgets...

Glasses be the worst imo... Literally wearing a band-aid over my nose coz my glass's nose bridge thingie hurts!! QAQ

1.5 on the left and 3.5 on the right- Nearsighted

Eyesight grade? Mine's barely "C" grade, that is to say, I can hardly "see" without the use of glasses.
Around -9 in both eyes.

First coordinate is Sphere which refers to curvature of the lens in the eye, second coordinate refers to Cylinder which is your Astigmatism, the third coordinate refers to Axis which is the Rotation of your Astigmatism. - refers to Nearsightedness while + refers to Farsightedness.
