Any stories where the reformation actually happens with the love interest? I keep seeing this premise but usually the love interest has already blackened and only gets protective/possessive over the MC with no reformation in sight. I'd like a story where character growth happens if they're already in that blackened state. Yanderes getting better is also something I'm super into so I'm welcome to any suggestions. Edit: I don’t mind if the MC is the villain/yandere!
After Transmigrating into a Short-lived White Moonlight, had a HE with the Villain Ml treats mc more sincerely, mc learns how to deal with him during his psychotic breaks and leads him to regain rationality
does anyone have other recs? please at this point i just want a ML that realizes he’s too possessive/out of control and tries to hold himself back for the MC’s sake.
OK, for anyone interested, Mistakenly Saving the Villain is the closest to what I wanted to see. The ML blackened a bit but the story delves into their psychology and how their trauma influences their current thoughts/actions. That’s quite rare and the CP is actually somewhat healthy or is at least heading in that direction with how the MC is at least a little knowledgeable about psychology. They still fall into that oblivious trope though. The ML is also a bit obsessive but in a way that would never harm the MC. I think even that will eventually be addressed in the narrative. All in all, very promising and the ML seems to be heading to some sort of closure/healing by the end of story.
The Grandmaster's weird disciple ^seems to fit the bill except for the mc still remains sort of blackened in some aspects but better than before
Thank you! I don’t mind if their blackened aspects remain as long as there’s some sort of character growth going on.
