No, they are pretty fine and alive plus there is no need to save anything, since to be fair when are companies worried about what fans think? how many times we had controversial decision being made by some old man at the top that control the money that goes complete against the entire lore and history of the franchise? is simple how is done, as long it keep making money people gonna keep doing it and it gave box office of 4x it's budget!!!! it is doing pretty FINE and i remember reading somewhere that finally the big corporate is taking a good look at big profits from big movies like those ones and planning to increase the release rate and reach even one big release a year with it's spin-off's because is just good business.
