There's no new novel ive been reading since SCOG, and I only discovered said novel through the rankings. Is the top 10 as crazy good as SCOG? Novel titles nowadays are so long its like sentence describing the mc or his/her life and more often that not i stay away from it.

    Isekai nonbiri is good though

I don't think so, necessarily. How good a novel is... that's subjective. :blob_coffee:
I'd suggest searching by tags/genres (and maybe ranking by popularity) in the series finder, rather than looking at the top 10 in the series ranking.

To true, how good you find a novel depends a lot on how much you like the genres or subgenres the author is going for.

Nu rankings mean jackshit. You are more likely to find garbage at top tbh

Haha, no. Top 10s, as said before me, is a popularity contest - It just formats the most read novels. If you want to try and find amazing novels... that's subjective but the easiest way to find the better-written novels are by using tags (here: https://www.novelupdates.com/series-finder/) and by filtering in tags you like and out the tags you dislike. Higher ratings don't necessarily mean a novel is good but if it's below 3, there is definitely a reason.

I've noticed that novels below a rating of 3 deserve to be there. 4 or above is often a sign of good writing (not always though).

Since you've read SCOG, a KR novel, I'd suggest you try novels similar to that, e.g.
    - Dungeon Hunter
    - The Tutorial is too Hard
    - I Became the First Prince
    - Possessing Nothing
    - Everyone is a Returnee
    - King of the Battlefield
    - SSS Class Suicide Hunter
    - Seol Station Necromancer
    - Reincarnator

Just my take on some good KR novels, of course, there are others out there.
GL finding your next novel to read :aww:

That's right! If I were to use the top list as a guide to finding good books then I'd think that all webnovels are bad. Also most recommendations on NUF are pretty bad because people will just talk up the books they like with no regard for what the OP is looking for and never bringing up potential deal breakers.
