In the online gaming arc, mc is firstly part of a party known as the Smoke party, he is kicked out and finds a new group while fighting alongside them, he joins the party he fought alongside with after the Smoke party's leader tries to re-recruit him back in. (Side note: Mc's "class" can power up teammates and make shields) A team member's frost weapon is busted and it is described to "shoot/sprinkle snowflakes"(?) MC takes the weapon and fixes it, the person who uses the weapon says "The weapon couldnt be fixed even after he went to see the top weapon fixers" and it is way better in condition after going through the hands of MC, later again when they are fighting an enemy, a person in the Smoke party sends a rat to bite through Mcs shield, Mc deliberately weakens his outer shield (he has 2 shields set up) and the rat bites through the first layer but meets the 2nd, stronger inner shield. Only top (whatever class) can put up 2 shields, and even Smoke party's (whatever class) could not put up 2 shields. Mc tries out a new "thousand thorned whip" weapon and is described to have "brutally murdered the Smoke party member". Later after that, MC and ML go to kill the snake lord, once they find the snake lord, it transforms into a beautiful woman, MC and ML say they both dont like women, the snake lord transforms into a beautiful man, and ML takes the chance to confess to MC "Even if you look exactly like him, you will never be the same as him", the snake lord runs away and meets the Smoke party's 2 team members (The Smoke party's leader, whom is the ex boyfriend of the original soul of Mc's body, and the person who the Smoke party's leader is dating right now, the person who stole his face) transforms into a pretty girl again, and hides behind the 2, MC pulls out his thorned whip and hits the person who stole his face and displays his whip's power, putting fear into all three opposing sides. (skip a bit) Near the end of the arc, the person who stole his face's real life face is revealed and Smoke party's leader immediately is disgusted and seeks out Mc again, Mc rejects him and they are sent out, Mc wakes up in a hospital(?) and is sent a bouquet of flowers by someone surname Feng which is part of ML's name, ML and MC meet up, Smoke party's leader goes out to find MC and apologize, they officially have nothing to do with each other now, when the smoke party's leader is at his own dorm, he meets the person who stole Mc's face outside of it, the person who stole Mc's face is still obsessed with the other, and promises to become "beautiful" but Smoke party's leader insults him, opens the door, and slams the door at him.
