Gallahan did met up with Clelivan and they became business partners for the ready-to-wear clothes business. When Gallahan mentioned that it was Tia who told him to go to Clelivan for advice, Clelivan start suspecting Tia's intelligence. He took her to a business meeting and when Tia saw that they were aiming the business at richer commoners, Tia blurt out that she would hate it if someone wears the same thing as her and there are more poor people then well-off people. That convinced them to target poor people as the audience instead of the well-off commoners. Clelivan bowed down to her or something in recognition of her intelligence. He later told her he figured out her involvement with the cloth business with her father because it happened due to her dragging her father to the meeting. He then asked to follow Tia and be her business partner. Tia accepts. He later became her private teacher to hide the fact that they were doing business together.

Bellesac and Astieu threw a ball at Tia's face and give her a nosebleed. He then took out a wooden sword, but the twins saw them and thought they were hitting Tia with a wooden sword and attacked the two. Tia shouted not to hit them and passed out, probably from overworking. When she woke up, she heard rumors saying that Bellesac and Astieu were hitting Tia with a wooden sword, causing her to get a nosebleed and faint and Tia was such an angel she told the twin not to hit the two. In reality, Tia was hit with a ball and she told the twin not to hit them because she wanted to beat them up first, but she passed out before she could finish her words. Her grandfather was mad and scolded Bellesac and Astieu, telling them not to go near Tia again. Her loser cousins were mad because all Tia got was a nosebleed, but the twin protected Tia and even broke one of Bellesac's arm and they were also the one being punished.

Tia went to a Lombardy scholarship conference/meeting and tried to get Caitlyn Brown to help Perez by subtly dropping hints that she made a friend at the palace and was worried about him. The Caitlyn lady told her grandfather, who decided to take Tia to the palace to see Perez. Tia packed a bunch of gifts for Perez. The Lombardy decided to support Perez, mostly to make the Empress upset and keep the Angenas in line. Someone already spoiled this, so I won't go too much into details. They sent Caitlyn and someone else to tutor him, and Tia and Perez wrote to each other often. After that, there was a three year time skip.

There was a ceremony where Gallahan was given a medal because his ready-to-made clothes business was giving poor people clothes which also made them healthier because of better hygiene. He was also granted land near the sea, as someone had already spoiled before. Astana, the first prince, was picking on Tia again, so Tia deliberately pretended to be shoved in front of witnesses, including her grandfather, and kicked him in the shin because her grandfather told her to do that to anyone who bothers her and he would take care of it. Perez also showed up and showed off his superior swordsmanship with his aura by cutting their swords in half, which shocked everyone because he was a genius. The emperor punished Astana and the Empress later had a screaming rage after the banquet. During the end of the banquet, Gallahan got sick with the disease.

Estira was mostly done with the cure, but there was no stabilizer for the cure. Tia remembered that Estira found the answer after going back to her childhood home. She and Perez looked through many books before realizing that it may have been the Bombia flowers, which are good for stabilizing medicine and grow in climates similar to Estira's home. Perez got some before the rain could end the flowering season and Estira made it into an antidote, which saved Gallahan's life on Tia's 11th birthday. While Gallahan was dying, Vieze found out and tried to copy his business with Angenas, which made Gallahan and Tia's grandfather wary of him and Tia's grandfather prepared to fight back against Angenas.

After Tia's 11th birthday, she could finally go outside by herself. She took all her pocket money and bought a building and put it under Clelivan's name and started the Pellet Company. Their first business was to bid for an iron mine that contains diamond, which the world has never seen before. It succeeded and they started the diamond business. The company became one of the top five companies in the world that same year, which shocked Tia. They later found out that Vestian, Shannet's husband, leak the Lombardy's bid to the Angenas. His affair went to light shortly afterward, which someone has spoiled already. Tia later bought a store belonging to an info dealer named Bates and got him to work for her.

Tia wanted to have her debutant at the age of 12. She got a place at the Imperial debutant ball and went there to get training. And guess who her Cavalier (partner) is? Perez! Gallahan made a really pretty green dress for Tia, and he remembered how his wife, Shan, said, "Tia's green dress is really pretty," sometime after she gave birth to Tia and before she died. Tia really loved the dress and the Debutant ball went successfully. The Lombardy also donated some money to make the ball extra extravagant. Sometimes afterward, Perez decided to go to the Academy.

Like in last life, Tia's grandfather got ill. He would have fell down the stairs like last life but Tia was with him and caught him, injuring herself in the process. Tia's grandfather appointed Vieze as the head of something small. There was a counterfeit scam happening at that Lombardy bank but Vieze ignored it. He also ignored and messed up a lot of other things. Eventually, Shannet lost her temper and went to her father, asking to replace Vieze with her. There were a lot of higher ups complaining about how Vieze is messing up their perfectly fine business. Shannet told them her plan to stop the counterfeit checks and show a way to tell the difference by burning them. The real burns red but the fake burns blue. She got the secret from Clelivan, who got it from Tia. Later, Shannet made a guess that Tia was the real owner of Pellet company and Tia gave herself away by choking on her milk in surprise. Tia gave Shannet a gift: the location of the scammer, which she got from Bates. She told Shannet she can sent him to prison or use him since the scammer is highly skilled at making counterfeits.

if you go in the previous pages you will find it. If i'm not mistaken, perez will become monarch thanks to lombardy family's power. The empress will be put in prison and the emperor will die.

Despite the heaviness of today’s chapter, I have to say that Tia and Perez are soooo adorable. The artist is really good. Perez’s dead eyes showed life by the end of the chapter. Not to mention the drawing of both kids are so pretty.

There's nothing on ML's maternal family. The reason it looked bad is because she's a maid. Basically it makes the king look bad because he did it with a maid and even had an illegitimate son. If it wasn't for the fact that ML has his blood, he would have probably also killed ML. ML saw his mom get poisoned but the father just let him be even if his son saw him killed his mom. His mom wasn't smart or anything. She was just a normal maid. He only kept his son alive because ML has his blood, but ML wasn't cared for either since after ML's mom died, he was left alone in the abandoned side of the palace and fed poison by the servants from the empress's order.

When MC met him, she gave him antidotes for the poison so she told him to just take the poison and then take the antidote afterwards, so ML would sleep holding the potions she gave him and think of her every day since she was the first person to ever help him. She also promised she'll see him again but she didn't until a long time later with her grandfather and that got him out of the abandoned palace.

husband has a lover since before the marriage. He pretends to love Shananet in order to continue to be a Lombardy. He isn't an original Lombardy so in case o divorce he will remain penniless. it's a pity because he is really handsome

Vestian Schulz (VS) manages the Lombardy Bank.
He pretended to be a loving husband to Shananet, but harbored deep grudge towards the Lombardy family. It's probably a combination of his pride being stepped upon(as his children did not follow his name), he had a childhood sweetheart before marriage, and he felt that he doesn't get paid more for his job(Lombardy basically supports his natal family).

There was a mine being auctioned by another aristocratic family because of debt. The Angenas wanted the mine as they already did a preliminary research on it and deemed it to be profitable if they bought it. VS leaked the information that Lombardy will only bid 1800 golds for the mine. So the head of the Durac Company (owned by Angenas) would be outbidding the Lombardy higher (2000 golds), of course little did they know that there's another party wanting to bid for the mine, Pellet Company, which won the bidding of the mine, buying it for 2050 golds. During the time VS informed Durac Company of the Lombardy's bid, MC was there to hear them, but VS ignored it, as she probably did not hear the full story, or would not know anything because she was just a child.

Also during this time, VS and Shananet were already in the process of divorce because Shananet already knew what VS did before i.e. stealing money from the Lombardy bank, embezzling its funds somewhere. VS was also demanding a large amount of property during his divorce. Also Shananet did not know the infidelity of his husband, and Vieze already knew it and did nothing to inform her, he even bought a residence for their affair .

Months later, after discovering diamonds in the mine and creating a successful business was made in selling those gems, A banquet was held by Clerivan and co, also inviting the 'lover' of VS. VS and Shananet was already divorced at this point. When the lover and VS met, they pretended like they did not know each other and this was seen by Lulac, Clerivan and MC(she already knew about the affair). VS was ecstatic because now he does not have to hide being lovey-dovey with lover because, he can create a story that he fell for her when they met during the banquet.

Shananet kind of holed-up herself, because she's probably ashamed to her father, as to what VS did to their Lombardy businesses, including stealing some confidential data. During this time Shananet noticed that she lost an heirloom/pendant given by her mother when the mother died, she fainted from shock. The twins were there for their mother, as VS didn't fight for custody of the kids. Clerivan also set up a trap for VS by pretending that he hated the Lombardy, he somehow was able to take 8000 gold from VS, telling him its for some business(?).

MC and the 'lover' met again, and she noticed the missing pendant on the 'lover'. MC somehow brought the 'lover' to where the grandfather is, and he got angry when he saw the pendant. Grandpa asked the 'lover' and threatened her to tell the truth where she got it. VS and the lover got jailed, added to the fact that VS is now in debt.

So before the time-skip, Shananet, wanted to take over a business of the lombardy, so her kids could have a better future and standing within the family. Also later on she became the acting deputy for the Lombardy, because Vieze messed up when Grandfather had to leave the position for the meantime due to sickness/accident.

By head of the house do you mean Lombardy ? If so the 'final' head of the house is Tia; she is both head of the House and Empress of the nation (Perez forced his 'father' to pass a law allowing the empress to maintain any and all titles jobs etc she had so he can Marry Tia lol ) and they have 3 very lovely children. \o/

Perez gains the crown both in similiar ways as the OTL.. but not so much in others as unlike before he has Tia now. At first a 'friend' whom he can trust and rely upon (same for her) who also happens to be very intelligent with economics and political strategy ; than later a woman he loves who is all previous things and truthfully loyal to him and he to her etc - adding in that factor changes more than a few things for the positive for Perez he gains the throne with a good deal less trauma and poison. and Gets to actually be happy.

The last two chapters were such an emotional rollercoaster that I especially appreciate that in the prologue the author has already shown us a little snippet from their future - I really needed to go back and reassure myself that everything is going to be fine.
