Has anyone else been having problems with wuxiaworld.com lately? For the past couple of days whenever i open up a tab from wuxiaworld it has been causing problems with my computer. When I open up the task manager from chrome it shows a memory footprint of over 2 GB and it shows cpu percentages of like 134%, which i did't even realize it could go over 100. Recently I wasn't fast enough at quiting the sites in task manager with 4 tabs of wuxiaworld and it caused my screen to go black and wouldn't respond or turn back on until i reset my smc. Should I be worried about this or any ideas for fixes? I also recently looked having the website active for about 30 seconds my adblocker showed 2740 ads blocked.

Thanks for the response, but it shouldn't be that because it is only effecting wuxiaworld and no other sites and according to that article the new ad targeting would effect every site that has ads.
Try using adblock. This is nothing new or because of new tech. The whole reason I started using adblock, years ago, was because WW kept devouring my ram and processing power. I tried other things like reinstalling the browser, tried contact via their discord. But in the end the only thing that helped was using adblock. Which is a pity, since I really like WW.
I am using an adblocker and are still having these problems. The same reason, wuxiaworld is a big reason i started using they have pop up ads and such, at least on cellphone.
I use microsoft edge and adblock (AdGuard) enabled, it works just just fine. Mind you, my computer runs on 32-bit OS and has 2GB RAM. It's suuper slow, but there's no problems when I'm using WW.
Yes mostly - except there are pop-up ads and videos on each page and when it loads all wuxiaworld pages freeze momentarily. = = = With adblock it does the blocking if 2000-4000 ads and freezes and there is a chance it crashes With more tabs of wuxiaworld open it increases the chance. I tried loading the page and cancelling or stopping but it only seems to trigger the ads after 5-10s and when it does it crashes all wuxiaworld pages/tabs Only started to happen to me in the last 1-2 weeks though = = = The only reasonable work-around I got is to use a phone or tablet or anything which has the option to load and save the link offline or save the reading for later type functions Then you can load the page offline. = = = EDIT - 1 Month later Every time I open a wuxiaworld page, my browser almost crashes now.
