thats such a hilarious way to fall in love falling in love with you not because everything is different without you but more like because you were non existent, and he loved that, but he unfortunately got it all mixed up
it suits Lina tbh lmao (maybe it isnt that funny but its so funny to me)

I wonder if Saintess powers and Stern powers mixing is bad, thats why Lina absorbs (is that right, I think i read that here somewhere) instead of purifies and that she is easily taken by demons (or it could be just her personality or something idk)
and the necklace came from some burial ground(?) under the manor and attached itself to Seria.. did it attach itself to Lina in the OG novel too?

Also I love Seria and Lesche interactions its so naturally sweet and romantic

 

I wonder about the ex fiancé i hope he gets the ending where he can’t get MC and just regrets everything he did to her .

 

I just hope MC leaves them all and returns back to her dimension, just like the MC of Kill The Villainess.
Why waste times on those buffoons? No hate for the main guy but the reason he fell for Lina in the first timeline is kind of weird. Not even one of them is completely right in the head. And what is the reason he fell in love with MC in this timeline again?

@cookie_monster007 I try to spoil all the chapters once a week, unless if I'm busy. As for why he fell for Seria, he just slowly get to know her more and like her, then love her. His first impression of her was that all the rumors he heard of her were wrong. Seria actually takes her stern position seriously and works hard. And I suppose he likes being around her since he laughs easily around her. He also began to find her pretty. It's just slowly loving her while he get to know her more.

Also not sure why you compare this to Kill the Vilainess. The plot is totally different. There's no reason why she should dislike Lesche either. He wasn't even someone who did anything to ogSeria in ogNovel. In the novel, ogSeria only had relation to ogCallis as well and not with ogLesche. It was ogCallis who killed ogSeria in the ogNovel.

@cupboardbee Well he "fell in love" with Lina because of his guilt that she disappeared, so I guess we can say what he loved isn't really her since they barely knew each other.

So it's not really their stern wedding was fully invalid, but it's not enough, so they have to also have a wedding at the capital and that's why they're heading to the capital and why Lesche rushed the trip, even though before he always push off the trips to the capital.

Oh and they finally did it.

Chapter 95-99

• Abigail wondered why Seria was feeling gloomy. She had been covering her face with a white handkerchief like it's a funeral from a handkerchief Susan had given to her as a wedding gift, embroidered with blue flowers as its a custom in their empire to gift a bride blue flowers. Seria recalled when she received the news that her marriage was invalid and when she fainted, Lesche had been wiping her forehead till it was like polished pottery. Seria can still smell the perfume Susan had sprayed on the handkerchief.
• Seria told Abigail, she doesn't think she can ever find a knight better than her, to which Abigail told her she doesn't think she can meet a master better than her lady since she was the girl who saved her in the first place. She still remember when Seria held out her hand; it was like a saint.
• Seria told Abigail, she's scared of getting married, since she's scared Lesche might end up like Callis. Abigail immediately pull out a knife and twirled it around like an assassin. Seria wondered why she have a knife out. Abigail told her, she's going to cut Callis's neck so Seria can go warn her husband. Seria told her to calm down since Haneton needs a lord and if she gets caught, it'll be bad. Abigail doubt she will get caught since she can also get rid of the knight commander of Haneton. Abigail fed Seria.
• Seria was shocked to know everything was going faster than she thought. The people around her also wanted to give her a wedding more splendid than a royal wedding. It all reminded her of her wedding with Callis. When she thinks of Callis, she is reminded of Lina and she is then reminded that Lesche was drawn to the FL.
• She decided to inspect the glacier to keep her head out of the gloomy thoughts. When she asked Abigail if she would like to come with her, Abigail told her, she likes anywhere the lady goes. (Really like the relationship between Seria and her knight )
• Lesche who saw Seria went out to work, from his window asked Linon if he hadn't informed Seria they're heading to the capital. She shouldn't be working today. She was informed and should be sorting out the wedding gifts. But it seemed even though she knew, she went to work. Linon felt awkward. It seemed Seria is procrastinating and might want to prolong the trip to the capital. He's not sure if the couple had fought. Everyone remained silent as Lesche continued to look out the window and put the papers down on his desk.
• Seria was in the middle of inspecting when Lesche approached her. When she looked up, she saw Abigail had already stood further away from them giving them space. Lesche tried to get her to reveal her feeling. He knew she was also working, when she was in the middle of preparing the wedding with Callis, and at that time it was because bad feelings concerning Lina. So he wanted to know what's the issue this time. Seria lied she's just embarrassed the imperial family rushed it. He doesn't believe her and told her to tell him to directly since he won't know how to fix it from his part.
• Seria felt this Lesche is different from usual. He sound cold reminding her that this is how the male lead really is. She couldn't forget what happened during her wedding with Callis and Lesche is the male lead for Lina. It's better to just keep the relationship an engagement, so there's nothing set. She's more comfortable with the ambiguity. She's sure she can't tell him that she's scared knowing he will fall in love with Lina or he will think she's crazy.
• Seria brought up that they were waiting for the approval of the divorce after a year. When she brought up divorce, Lesche started to laugh crazily asking if she is trying to get back to Callis. She asked him why was Callis even brought up to the conversation and he asked her why she wanted to divorce him then. She doesn't think their marriage was normal anyway since they just married because she's a stern and right now she's keeping to her job as a stern so she told him to top talking.
• Lesche exhaled deeply and glared at her. Seria swallowed the truth thinking she had to do it anyway. Lesche then asked her what she's scared of. She yelled back at him that she's scare of the debt she owes him will be more than what she can afford (when she's really scared of his friendliness to her that will shake her heart to the point of fear). So he wondered if she will leave when her debt is repaid. He's not even sure how she's the slave when he's the one who only cares about her.
• She questioned if he will feel the same in a year. Lesche asked if the saint is returning in a year. She didn't answer but he can tell. He's not sure what does the saint returning have to do with the saint, but then he had a sudden thought and asked slowly if she is scared he'll fall in love with the saint. He remembered she didn't have good thoughts of him to begin with, though Seria tried to correct his words.
• Lesche then took off his gloves and hold her hand. He told her, he's not Callis. She apologized, but he's not looking for that. He just wants her to see him as he is.
• In fact he was already upset when seeing her go to work from his office. He had thoughts of killing Callis. He thought she was thinking and reminded of that bloody first love, Callis Haneton. He was annoyed. Seria is legally his wife but Callis also regrets it. Lesche is also half sure Seria isn't afraid he'll fall in love with the saint. It felt more like she was saying some prophecy. He was more concerned where Seria might disappeared to so he pried.
• Seria started to talk about the gifts his vassals had sent. She think they're sending too much. She wondered if it's because she's pretty so they like her. Lesche laughed, tilted his head and agreed, she's the prettiest. He can now even distinguish her from a crowd. He thinks it must be her blue eyes.
• He started to want those eyes to like something other than his appearance, but he had never really done anything different with her. He held her hands and kissed her forehead before. He then released her hand and grabbed her soft cheeks. Her cheeks were colder than her hand. He then found her lips and kissed her. When their tongues touched, she trembled from embarrassment. He didn't kiss her that deeply as he then released her and took her hand, taking large strides toward their horses.
• Even as they rode back, she glanced at his back. When they returned, she didn't bother to look at him and just rushed to take a warm bath as she always do after a glacier inspection. She could feel his gaze at her back though. Susan was smiling and tell Seria that no one will go to the second floor until next morning. Seria wasn't sure why she said that, but then her ears turned red and she covered her face with both hands. The place is already huge and the second floor have so many rooms, but she's saying it'll be all empty.
• After the maids quickly washed her, they disappeared just as quickly. The second floor is really quiet. She went to their bedroom. They usually sleep there so it's not unusual but it stood out more than usual this time. She recalled earlier when Susan asked if she wanted to bath at the couple's bathroom since that's where the duke takes his bath. Seria continued to be speechless as Susan continued that the duke tried to come in here. Seria was wondering what he's trying to come in here and do. They'll see each other in the bedroom anyway.
• Honestly Seria isn't sure what to do either since the novel ended right after Lina and Lesche's wedding so there was nothing of their first night. Well, it was better not to know. She can hear Lesche taking a bath when she entered their bedroom. When she entered the bathroom. there was partition blocking the view. The two servants there saw her and she raised her finger to keep them quiet. They hurried away. She can see his muscular back. She felt like she was drooling. She quietly watched but then reached out and suddenly realized that's a bad choice.
• Her wrist was grabbed and before he could break her wrist, their eyes met and the air stopped. She coughed and called his name trying to think of an excuse. She told him that he had tried to come into her bath earlier and might've scared her maids so she decided to seek revenge and do the same to him. She wasn't able to finished speaking since he got up and kissed her immediately. The water from his body soaked into her. She wasn't able to push his kiss away either as he seem to be trying to eat her up.
• The thin gown she was wearing came off and fell to the floor. He was about to break the straps of what she was wearing inside when she immediately shove him away, worried he's going to tear off her clothes. She told him that and he said he can just buy her new ones, but she said they were made by Susan. He thinks Susan can jut make the same thing again. She's not sure though. His gaze at her remained excited.
• Lesche wondered if she can make clothes and she said no and laughed softly. He wondered why she laugh so much. She asked him what made her laugh so much. He comments her laugh makes people go crazy and she's flabbergasted at his words when it's just a laugh. She frowned and said isn't it just because it's pretty in his eyes. He agrees since he goes crazy when he sees her laugh. He's serious about it.
• He gave a sigh and kissed her ear, then dragged her to the water. In no time, she ended up in his arms, soaked. Her negligee stuck to her skin and Lesche's hands and body was stuck to her. When he called her name, she felt dizzy wondering if it's from the steam of the water, or was it because of what he was doing, his hands touching from her neck to her thighs. She held his hand and their fingers clasped.
• He lifted her chin and her lashes trembled. For the first time she realized the couple's bathroom always have two bathrobes, but it was useless in bed. Somehow she didn't know how time passed and she fell asleep when she was almost at the point of fainting.
• Seria was in the carriage heading to the palace. The capital is much warmer than Berg, people can dress more thinner and there are many luxurious mansions there. She passed by a district that she recognized as the mansion of Marquis Haneton is also there. Fortunately they're just passing by so she can't see it. They, then, entered an inner road to an area where no mansions are. Seria felt weird.
• When they told her to get off. It was when she straightened her skirt and raised her head, she saw the mansion. It was huge. Susan guided her to the front. Seria wonder if it's even possible to have such a huge mansion in the capital. The mansion here is even bigger than Kellydon's main mansion.
• Ben greeted them at the front door. There were some knights she had never seen before. Even so, Seria's first impression of the inside was that it was too clean. It felt like they had thrown away a bunch of things so she questioned Ben. He coughed and told her this mansion is often empty originally and there were a bunch of broken things before so they were organized and sent away. She decided to work (decorate the place) right away. He told her that she can decorate the place as a leisure hobby.
• As for Lesche, he didn't enter the mansion with her because of an issue earlier. They had entered the first and second gate of the capital together, but the moment they passed the third gate, Linon informed Lesche he really have to go. In fact the military officials had waited for him from the first gate, but Lesche was unwilling to have his wife enter the mansion without him so he ignored them and pretend there's a procedure where he had to bring his wife to the mansion. She never heard of it before, but the incident reminds her of the og novel. Linon told Lesche the officials are following behind them, thus they had to stop their carriage. When Seria saw the officials, their expression was just as worn out as Linon.
• Seria checked the basement where all the ornaments and furniture are placed. Ben gave her a list of them. She can see they're all expensive. A large portrait of the predecessor caught her eye and she told Ben to replace it with the one Martha sent from the green manor.
• Lesche is signing some papers while being surrounded by militants and nobles. Not only is he declining Howard's support, he also retreated knights living at the west, Kellydon's area. Berg held huge military power and owned many knights, too many that they're all stationed throughout various places in the empire to support them. Not too long ago he had ordered all the knights at Kellydon area to return. Anyone can guess they're screwed.
• Some of the nobles tried to be closer with Lesche immediately. In fact a few hours ago, some even invited him to go to the clubhouse together. To resolve that bribery scandal, Lesche told him that a married man can't stay out overnight, referring to himself as someone who needs to return home early since he's still a newlywed. Linon still wondered why Lesche hadn't given her a ring yet, even though he's wearing a ring. He thought he would be ordered to rob a jeweler as soon as the royal seal was sent out.
• When Lesche returned back to the mansion, it was quiet. Ben came to greet him and inform him Seria had an early dinner and is sleeping. Lesche was about to head to the bath at their bedroom when he saw the portrait was replaced. He knew Susan and Ben don't like the predecessor but they wouldn't go and have it removed so it's definitely Seria who had the power to order that.
• At their bedroom after his bath, he could see her sleeping. Sometimes it seemed like she's not breathing so he would check under her nose for her breathing to make sure. He would only smile after knowing she's still alive. He remembers from a few months ago when Seria used to wear a ring on her 4th finger. She loved that ring a lot and would always wear it. It was a ring from Callis, but since the engagement was broken, she never wore it anymore.
• If she was to ask for a ring from him, she would be reminded of Callis. She wouldn't be happy if he put a ring on her hand. That was the problem. He's still not sure why she's afraid he would love the saint. He can guess she's hiding something from him. It's not a good feeling but what can he do when she's his wife. He hugged sleeping Seria in his arms and kissed her forehead as if to mark her. Then her cheek and her lips. Then he was finally able to sleep.
• Next day Seria can see it's raining. The blanket was covered all the way to her neck. She can tell Lesche was sleeping next to her before, but somehow he had come and left without her noticing. He always tucked her in all the way as if to think she'll freeze to death. There was even hot tea nearby, brought by a maid instructed by Lesche. Seria drank the tea while listening to the rain.
• Seria muttered to herself wondering when he have to go to the meeting again. Lesche told her he didn't go. His response surprised her and she almost dropped her teacup. It was then she leaned forward and noticed he had been in the room the whole time sitting on the armchair reading his papers by the window. The curtains on the canopy bed hid her view of him earlier.
• She wondered when he woke up and thought he went out. He told her, he's not busy since they're not at Berg so they can go out. She told him it's raining. He looked out and put down his papers. Then he told her afterward they can go to the a tea party or any place she wanted to go. He had heard from Linon that it's popular for a husband to bring his wife to a tea party and pick her up. Seria laughed at his response, but she has no friends who would invite her to a tea party. If not for Abigail, she would've been lonely for a long time.
• Lesche got up and walked towards the bed. The slippers she was wearing were removed and in an instant she was lying on the bed with Lesche right above her and his hand on her cheek. He grabbed her leg and pressed against her body. She can guess where it's going just by looking at the side, but it's morning. Well even if it's morning, it's not a big deal since she can do it in the morning, but she told him she's busy today since she has to decorate the mansion and Begonia (her designer) had arrived.
• Lesche sighed while fiddling her shoulder with lots of regret. Somehow she felt like she heard him muttering Abigail or Elliot decorating the mansion and wondered if knights have her aesthetic sense. He told her to give some thought about her husband since they're newlyweds. She said no. She started to question why Lesche is using his good looks on her. Well eventually after breakfast, Ben followed Lesche wondering what happened.
• A few days after that, time flew by. Begonia had brought dresses for her to try out. One thing was for certain; they all came all the way up to her neck. It was noticeable when Susan and her maids bathe her. Seria with her very white skin have noticeable red marks on her skin. Seria was even more embarrassed from their reaction pretending nothing happened. Actually Lesche's outfit also covered his neck. In fact, his servants were more ashamed than her maids. They all avoided her gaze. Seria pretended to be shameless but she wanted to scream from embarrassment.
• Lesche told her that Begonia had suggested he wear a suit with cravat knowing his neck would be like this. She asked him if he enjoyed teasing her, to which he responded it's fun to see her expressions. She told him, he have no right to talk either as she walked away from him. Obviously with his longer legs, he easily caught up to her and tried to take her hand. She pulled away and he felt embarrassed and asked if she's angry at him. She told him not to talk to her. He asked her why she's angry.
• When she didn't answer him, Lesche asked if it's because she had been sleeping at dawn these past few days. She tried to shut his mouth with her hand and whispered to him to not talk about it publicly. When she let go of her hand, he grabbed her hand right away and told her that they're inside their home. She said there are servants and he said they're far away. When she glanced up to look around, she noticed they had all already stepped far away. Instead she told him not to say it unless there's no one else home. He laughed and replied in agreement.

Ah, about kill the villainess, no I wasn't comparing. I just wanted her to be free of worries, so if her previous life was better, I was hoping for her to just leave this mess and return back to her home. It was really too much for me to handle. Especially the early chapters where her so called fiancé who claimed to love her was doing the opposite. I swear all he did was maligned the position of the second male leads. What an Idiot.

• The emperor was someone who had a princess with him when he was still a prince, but because she was weak, she died early leaving the empress seat vacant, despite him having 3 other concubines. He has a child with each of them, 1 princess and 2 princes. Both princess fell for Lina in the ognovel. In the ognovel the emperor and Lesche will have a confrontation because Lina almost lost her life trying to purify the palace.
• It was Seria's first time seeing the emperor's face this up close after she had become 'Seria'. When the emperor asked Lesche why he didn't come when asked, Lesche made some excuse that there were a lot of monsters at the glaciers. When asked about coming to see at least once in the other three seasons, Lesche made up another excuse that he have to work on the supply of the silver trees. It's a lie since their vaults always stock up with the branches. The emperor thought Lesche didn't marry before even when he recommended him to, is because he was waiting for marry a stern. Lesche denied it as he would've still married her even if she wasn't a stern.
• The emperor and the chief of staff behind him could barely believe what they heard. Same with Seria but she pretended not to hear anything. The emperor made some joke that she must've preferred Lesche's face over Callis's face. Seria fake a laughter while Lesche remained expressionless. The emperor coughed awkwardly and started talking about Lesche's mother. The emperor was close friends with Lesche's mother before. In the ognovel she was barely mentioned . The emperor and Lesche's mother went to the academy together so they knew each other.
• The emperor was also close with the former high priest, Amos. He was saddened he passed away trying to save Lina. When talking about the situation with Duke Howard, he's annoyed but had to deal with it. Apparently he seemed to be swung by one of his concubines Ekiselle. Seria doesn't really know much about the whole imperial situation. She doesn't really want to hear about it as she couldn't understand it so she excused herself. Lesche also got up and took her hand. The emperor was wondering where Lesche is going. Lesche told him that it's basic courtesy in Berg to escort his wife to the carriage. The emperor pretended not to know and let them go.
• Seria felt awkward being watched because Lesche was escorting her to the carriage. All the other nobles and employees of the palace were looking over at them. She tried to rush him, but he'll rather be stuck in the mansion with her. After he kissed her hand he told her he'll see her at home and left. While she was waiting for the carriage to arrive, Duchess of Paulbus noticed her and called for her. She thanked Seria. She had apparently sent a gift to Seria but Seria had been receiving tons of wedding gifts she can't tell. When the duchess bowed her head deeply in gratitude after removing her hat, Seria noticed her rare pink hair.
• The duchess invited Seria over for a tea party. It was obvious Lesche would say he would escort her. Linno shrugged. Thus Seria followed the duchess, Marlesana, to her place. Lesche was proudly expressing his knowledge of the social trends. Seria didn't mind since Lesche has to head to the palace anyway. Seria can see how close the duke and duchess are from their matching color outfits. Not only that, in the ognovel, the duchess had passed away early and the duke would wear pink outfits in mourning of his wife. The other nobles didn't like it but only Lina reacted curiously over it. With that Lina was able to get help from the duke with the mine.
• Seria told Lesche that the duke is a nice person. Lesche wondered where she sees that. She told him that he's gentle with his wife so she thought they married because of love. Lesche told her that he remembered it being a oplitical marriage. Seria was surprised. Lesche also think it's unusual. Linon who was eavesdropping at the two were flabbergasted from their conversation.
• After the tea party, Seria was in a good mood. She was able to get help from the duke for the mines thanks to his wife. Seria head to one of the temples at the capital. Everyone greeted her as she's a stern. She bumped into Duke Dietrich there. In the ognovel he was someone who adopted Lina and heightened her position in the capital. He had a bad relationship with the og Seria in the og novel.
• Duke Dietrich congratulated her on her wedding and told her he haven't seen her for a long time since she haven't been in the social world lately. He complimented on Seria's appearance comparing it to Lina. He obviously knows Seria and Lina are not in a good relationship. Seria poured holy water on the floor as to say her goodbyes to him. He felt embarrassed with her actions. She then left to head to the alter. Right then she felt her necklace heat up and when she touched it, the duke behind her fell right as divine power exploded from the necklace.
• Seria ran to the duke to call others for help. Paladins came to carry him away. When she touched her necklace again, it had already returned to normal. Seria then stared at the stern insignia on the wall. Seria had been trying to focus on her prayers. The next day she went to visit the shrine. She liked this place better than the capital. It's quiet and contains lots of records. She had been reading a lot of the oracles. They're categorized into 3 categories- clear objective with unclear prophecy, unclear objective with clear prophecy, and unclear objective with unclear prophecy.
• Seria recalled her wedding date and decided to check the oracle record for that date. It says something about how evil will be punished when the relic gets returned to its master. Seria knew instantly it meant the necklace she has and the evil is her. She's upset though since the evil is 'og Seria' and not her, but she can't help it since she's Seria now. She wondered if she's evil. The reason why she thought that is because she recalled that day at the snowy field when Lina ran away. There was a black mist moving with Lina's body, but she was never able to find out more about that. She wondered if Lina obtained the necklace would everything follow the og novel again. She got upset thinking that everything was aiming for her just because she possessed Seria's body.
• Linon was waiting for her. He told her that Elliot and Abigail had been waiting for her. It's too late to return to the capital so she can stay at the shrine and return tomorrow. Since Lesche had left with her the the chief aide (Linon) and knight commander (Elliot), she decided to ask Linon if there's an auction house for high grade relic. She thanked Linon and he told her to thank him again when they get back to the mansion. Linon was worried about her trying to buy a slave, since most aristocratic women do that. Seria told him that she's only trying to get a relic. He doesn't trust her so she finally complied and said she'll go with Lesche. He finally felt relieved.
• Linon was able to get the tickets for the black auction house. Seria was with Lesche. She had on a black wig as her green hair will make it very obvious who she is. When she asked Lesche what he thought of her with black hair, he didn't know green was rare. Besides he thought green is a pretty color, like summer leaf. Everyone wore a white veil at the auction house.
• Immediately when she entered she saw slaves. She realized what Linon said was real. Most of these slaves were former knights that tried to flee from the battle against the demons. Usually when caught they would either be executed or sold as slaves. There are also shaman slaves. One of the slaves seem to be looking over at Lesche. Even though he wasn't dressed as extravagantly, Seria thought maybe they were able to tell from his outfit that if was perfectly fitted. It was then she noticed Elliot who was standing close to Lesche busily looking around drawing attention, and in turn the attention went to Lesche.
• Seria took Lesche's hand and called him 'honey'. He turned to her and in an instant he kissed her over the veil. She was surprised why he suddenly did that. He thought she meant to tell him he can kiss her. Seria coughed in embarrassment and he grinned and took her hand. Lesche knew she wanted to pretend to be couples since Elliot kept drawing gazes to them.
• Abigail commented to Elliot not to worry about male sexual dysfunction as it can be cured. The people who were looking over became completely quiet and Seria turned away pretending not to hear. Lesche pretended not to see her shaking trying to hold her laughter and took her to the place where the relic auction takes place.
• They were seated at the front most seat. A man smoking cigar next to them, was making fun of them as Lesche was a man who brought his wife to a relic auction. He also started insulting the Duke of Berg saying he's unlucky with the person he married.
• Seria is looking for a strong relic that can distract and bait Lina so she will stop wanting to take her necklace. Seria had already bought 6 of the 10 relics, but she's still not satisfied. It was then the moderator looked over to her and brought out the next relic, a ring. Immediately Seria knew this is the one. She could felt it was similar to her circlet. Everyone started going crazy with the bidding. Seria was wondering if she would have enough money. Lesche told her, she can use his money since the husband's money is also the wife's. When he asked her what she's thinking. She told him she's thinking of how to tell him that what she owns is her own. He laughed at her comment and then she bid even higher with the winning bid.
• People were looking over wondering who she is. Seria left holding the relics in a happy mood. She's sure this will be enough to deceive Lina. She won't get punished. When she went out, she saw Lesche waiting for her. She ran to him happily calling him 'honey' and grabbed his arm. He looked back to smile at her and grabbed her chin to give her a light kiss over her veil.
• It was then Seria instantly knew the kiss was different. He wasn't Lesche. The man asked her if he looked alike. Seria then knew he's Mies, the illegitimate son of the previous Grand Duke of Berg. Mies lifted over his veil and men clad in black outfits surrounded them killing everyone in sight. Mies is someone who wanted everything Lesche has, even if people say Seria is trash, he couldn't think of stern as trash. Besides she was just a bit mean, but she doesn't kill people so he think's she's a fine lady. When he took off her veil, he felt more pleased and bowed to her.
• Seria tried to grab his cheeks and he held her tightly around the waist. Seria then decided to think it's jelly, and bit his ear hard. The strong smell of Mies's blood trickled down her chin. He called her crazy and his eyes twinkled. Just then, Abigail came wearing a dress she had never worn before, grabbed Mies and twisted his arm behind his back. In an instant another man also came rushing, screaming to the point it hurts Seria's ears. Linon took off his shoe and struck Mies's neck with the heel of his shoe. Mies tried to get his men as backup but too late. The Berg knights already all rendered them useless.
• When Seria squat over to try to talk to Mies, she couldn't hold in the smell of blood from her mouth anymore and puked over his face.
• Actually before this incident even had occurred, the knights of Berg had been on the lookout to capture Mies since the incident of the green manor. They were able to finally figure out he'll be at the auction house, but two weeks ago, Linon also expressed worry as he came screaming to Lesche that Seria had wanted to look for the auction house to buy a relic. They can't just stopped their mission because of that since the concern of Mies also falls on Seria.
• Mies was someone who wanted everything Lesche has so they know he would also covet his wife. He was also someone who wasn't registered under the Berg family as his position isn't even that good, yet he wants it. He can tried to set a trap for them by putting more shaman slaves that actually worked under him into the auction place, except he failed.
• In fact Mies was also trying to get that circlet from the basement of the green manor before. So before he would sent all the shaman to "break" the curse to find the circlet. Lesche had purposely given the circlet to Seria to bait him out because Lesche knew if Lesche kept the circlet, Mies wouldn't go after him. And Lesche's plans went as he thought as they were finally able to catch him.
• Lesche was staring down at the fainted Mies and wondered if he really looks like him. Elliot shook his head and told him, he probably had shaman help altered his look. Lesche find it annoying since he's anxious as he has a wife who likes his face. He knows that when she would occasionally wake up at dawn, she would stare at his face. He would pretend to be asleep thinking she would kiss him but she just acted coldly. She would reach her finger toward his cheek but never touch him and then go back to sleep. It was natural for Lesche's mood to hit rock bottom. Lesche wondered if Mies did something to seduce Seria and then mercilessly kicked him at the ribs.
• Linon then fearfully handed the report to Lesche. He asked Elliot for water. They wondered why he would ask for water when Linon hates drinking water. As Lesche read the report, he asked if Seria cut Mies's ears. Linon trembled and told him she did it with her mouth. One of the Berg knights felt shameful form the situation and dropped a flowerpot nearby. One of the two shaman captured diverted his gaze. Lesche walked over to Linon and asked why she bit his ears. Linon wanted to cry and it was the shaman who told him that Mies placed his lips on Seria.
• Lesche then crushed his hands without even looking down. Linon exclaimed out while in tears that Mies licked her lips. Just then another loud scream sounded out.
• Susan had to bring Seria a new toothpaste. She had already broken through her 7th brush trying to brush her mouth since that incident. As soon as she returned to the manor, she ran for the bathroom to wash her mouth. Ban and Susan who are usually most worried about her couldn't have not noticed something was wrong. Ben couldn't ask any questions though. Instead he just hovered around. Seria didn't wish to hide from them so she confessed to Susan about what happened at the auction place.
• Seria is worried for Linon that he might died not being able to protect her well. Susan reassured her it'll be fine. She was surprised to find out Linon really cried though. Susan told her its best to offset the bad moods with good moods. Lesche will return tonight so she just have to do what he likes and kiss him first. When Seria asked if there are people on their floor at night, Susan reminded her that as usual there won't be until morning.
• Susan prepared her bath and after Seria finished her bath, she returned to her room. She sat by the window overlooking the garden, and wonder if Lesche is upset with her. That may be why he doesn't want to see her. She turned around and as she was about to open the door to head out, she almost hit into his chest. His then held her.

Seria finally somewhat revealed her secret.

Chapter 106-110

Spoiler: 106-110

• Lesche had came out of the bath saying that something came on his foot (referring to the guy he stepped on). Seria was confused though but she wondered if he spilled blood when stepping on someone. Seria didn't think he would come to the bedroom today, but he doesn't know why she would think that. Seria wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. Lesche was surprised, but went further for it and opened his mouth. It was the first time Seria initiated a kiss to him. She finds it addicting to initiate it first and wondered if that's how Lesche always feel when he kisses her, but the kiss he craved for is more than the childish kiss she gave him. Soon she felt as though he's trying to eat her up. She quickly got out of breath and tried to push him but he didn't let go and lifted her up. She embraced him tighter reflexively and then she felt her gown slid down (not completely off though).
• Lesche's hand caressed the exposed skin and his kisses slid down to her body. In an instant she gained heat and a moan released from her lips. She wondered why it was different from usual and think it must be because she kissed him first. Seria felt her hands start to roam inside his robe to feel his muscle. Lesche stopped and lifted his head. She asked him if he liked that and he whispered to her that he does. He slipped her gown off completely from her shoulders and it fell down easily. Then he buried his face to her exposed skin. Seria's body twitched as she felt his thighs close to her legs. She just left her body to move along with his movements.
• A long time passed by. Seria thinks she had passed out. She could barely move. Lesche swept her sweat soaked hair to the side and gave her a peck, but his hand kept fiddling with her body. She grabbed his hand annoyingly since she doesn't think she'll be able to even walk tomorrow.
• Seria asked him about Mies, if he's still alive. Lesche haven't killed him. Seria wondered why Mies's name is so significant now when in the original novel his name never showed up. Must be the entanglement with the circlet. Seria knows Mies if aiming for the circlet so she asked about that. When Seria asked if it's confidential information, he gladly told her he will write a report for the grand duchess. She thanked him.
• Lesche also have a question for her, why she wasn't scared. She said if he was scared. He sighed as he contemplates being a fool for trusting her when she said she'll be safe, but he's not angry with her. He's more upset at himself that he could've chosen a way to destroy the auction house instead. As for Seria, she didn't think Mies would look that way at her so she thought she would've been able to escape from him. But Susan was right that she got lucky to not get hurt even after she bit his ear.
• Seria apologized to Lesche. He doesn't want to hear that though. Lesche commented he didn't know she was talented enough to shake a human heart. She rebuked him that those words could be misunderstood. He laughed and called her name. His hand gently stroke the bottom of her lip and then he went for a soft long kiss. When he finally lift his chin a bit, he whispered to her that he wanted to rip his tongue out. If she wasn't safe, he would've went insane. Seria doesn't think he's sane earlier though and he laughed at her comment, then kissed her again.
• Seria wondered if she should get Linon to interrogate Mies for her answers. Lesche asked what she's in deep thoughts about. When she asked if Linon is still alive, he told her, he's alive, and he asked her if she's going to cry in her sleep if Linon dies. Apparently Seria used to wake up crying in front of Lesche after their wedding. She used to have nightmares of dying. Seria asked if she still cry in her sleep and he paused for some time before answering her 'sometimes'. Seria still get nightmares that she's destined to die, but she didn't know she was having the nightmares until Abigail broke down the door one night to wake her up, asking who tried to kill her and made her cry. Seria thought the nightmares had stopped these days.
• Lesche wanted her to tell him what she's so scare of. He's going crazy just witnessing it when they sleep together so he feels bad over it. Seria isn't sure how to tell him this is from a novel. She instead brought up that she read a prophetic book that says she's destined to die early. He asked her what is the cause, is it disease or accident. Seria told him she got beheaded by a a person who she bullied. Lesche laughed lightly along with her weak smile asking if there were many evidence. She said yes and he didn't believe her.
• Lesche wondered how he had let her died. Seria told him that in the book, he wasn't her husband. He asked if it's Callis. When he asked her if he's in the book, she told him he was someone who didn't care for her. He kept asking why until she reluctantly told him that he became the husband of the saint. Lesche's expression went stiff. She told him that she tried to changed her fate and it must've changed a lot since he became her husband instead, but in her thoughts she thought that wasn't even from her effort since she wasn't striving to marry him. Instead she told him that she's just afraid all this will end someday.
• Lesche got out of bed to take something and returned to put something in her hand. It was a signet ring for the grand duchess. She asked why he's giving it to her. He told her to press the center 3 times. When she did, a small blade came out. He told her to be careful with it since it's poisonous. She immediately retractd her hand from the ring. Lesche told her to use the ring if she ever felt betrayed. He put the ring in her hand and moved it under his chin, telling her to use it from there, telling her to stab him there if he ever betrays her.
• Seria felt strange, but thinking back to it Lesche had been like this since he knows she's afraid. She asked what would happen to Berg. he laughed and told her that since he have no children, then it'll just be her, but his eyes went to her belly. Seria felt embarrassed and asked why he's looking there. He said that he just saw her having child. She rebuked him for looking. Lesche wondered why when he already saw all the other places of her body.
• She removed herself from his arm and rolled herself in a blanket. Lesche laughed, but he didn't let her get away since he trapped her in his arms wrapped in blanket. He kissed her forehead and told her to go to sleep. When she asked about him, he said he doesn't think he can sleep anytime soon. She asked if they should stay awake together then. He told her no. He kissed her gently on the lips. Seria hopes she doesn't get nightmares.
• A week later Linon was able to do a full scale investigation on the shamans and Mies. When Seria saw him, she tried to get him to eat. She worried he's look tired and stressed. Linon felt touched as she's the only one who cares enough to take care of his meals. Seria had the kitchen prepared all his favorite dishes in advanced.
• They sat across the table. Seria tried to struck a conversation as she asked about his family. He had no family as they've fallen and lost their surname. Seria apologized for asking the wrong question but Lesche didn't mind. Seria knew he graduated from Altair Academy from the original novel, but doesn't know anything else. Linon told her that he was from Mula, an island in the south. Linon was surprised she knew of Mula. Seria said she was interested in the southern islands.
• Lesche cried as she told him to eat more. He swear his loyalty to her and she laughed. Linon told her that Duke Dietrich (the duke she met at the temple) had stopped going to the temple after that day. There was a castle in the capital that was docrated like the temple as a offering in hopes of the saint's return. In the original story, when Lina returns, that castle was given to her by the duke and the castle would be a bridge between them.
• Instead the duke, now, was said to be outraged by the gods because he had a bad relationship with Seria. Also, Linon told Seria, Lesche bought the castle. Linon said he had talked to Lesche about it since he hoped the grand duchess would have all the things that belonged to the saint or Callis, so Lesche sent him to buy Dietrich's castle. Seria was in loss of words.
• Callis was informed the Grand Duke destroyed the auction house. He wasn't sure why he was informed of that. He can already guessed a bunch of nobles would try to guess what Lesche is thinking. Callis thinks Lesche must've done it to show off to Seria. He had been tormented from jealousy dozens of times a day. Even now he's upset thinking that Seria was taken by Lesche. He still remember the last image he saw of her at Kellydon. He doesn't know why she never told him about her brother. She had already isolated herself from him.
• Callis asked his aide if her present was well prepared to which the aide informed him, it is. Seria's birthday is in the winter. There's still half a year left but the aide didn't mentioned that. The only time Callis feels energized is when he's planning her birthday present. Callis then head to the Marchioness master bedroom. It was a bedroom that had been remained empty since his mother had passed away but he had the bedroom decorated long ago to stern's decoration for Seria. He had even prepared the garden where the bedroom window overlooks. In this bedroom where everything was newly prepared for Seria, Callis laid on the bed and closed his eyes thinking how she would've liked this.
• Seria went to check on Lesche. Lesche was dressing. She helped him choose a cravat. It was another day where they both have to hide their necks, but she was in such a good mood, that she didn't think much of it. Seria told him about the letter Martha sent her. She wanted to return to the green manor for a month to see Martha. Lesche laughed commenting how she's willing to leave her husband for a month. Seria told him that she'll write occasionally. He sat next to her in the carriage, held her hand to his thighs and told her that Martha kept tempting her with desserts. Seria tried to sneak her hand away, but he caught it again. She complained that she doesn't have as much energy as him and he told her to do this while resting, but Seria thought to herself that he doesn't even let her rest.
• They got off the carriage and was greeted at the entrance of the largest museum in the capital. Marlesana (Duchess Paulbas) called out to her. The Duke and Duchess of Paulbas also came to visit the museum. There were a few other nobles as well. It's the capital so that was to be expected. Inside the museum as they were looking at paintings, second Prince Vyugazen greeted Lesche. The prince also greeted her saying it's been a long time since they met, though it's her first time to meet him as Seria since she transmigrated.
• Vyugazen mentioned that his mother also liked flower paintings but Seria didn't particularly like them. She didn't care what the empress liked either. She recalled they fought over the blue diamond necklace. When the prince tried to get her to meet the empress, Seria apologized to him that she doesn't really like flowers a lot. But when Lesche escorted her away, he told her that she likes flowers and she said of course, she likes it a lot. He told it's a good thing, but didn't tell her why.
• Lesche was someone that all the nobles tried to talk to so he easily get crowds around him, while on the other hand Seria had no one trying to talk to her. Marlesana did approached her to tell her that she has the look as though she has a one sided love for husband because she had the same look that she used to have for him. Marlesana is admitting to Seria that she had an unrequited love for Lesche when she first laid eyes on him. Marlesana just mentioned that her marriage with her current husband was because they were just engaged from before. Seria just laughed awkwardly knowing that in the original novel that the duke never remarried after her death and even keep wearing pink in remembrance of her.
• Marlesana felt a distanced between Seria and Lesche. That's why she thinks it's unrequited love, but she's not sure why there's a distance. She couldn't relate since her distance with her husband is the status but Seria has a pretty high status as a Marquis daughter and a stern. Seria can tell that Marlesana loves her husband now and was just looking back to a past crush.
• Seria then was able to understand what Marlesana meant by unrequited love, the distance. When she first loved Callis and Lesche. She would eagerly look at their expressions to be able to read their mind, but who can read her mind. Lesche then looked at her. Everyone around him followed his gaze and looked at her. Seria turned her head in embarrassment.
• Lesche on the other hand had been stealing glances at her while she was talking to Marlesana. He then noticed Seria coming closer to him. The other nobles around him were suddenly surprised from her presence. She held out her hand telling him to go. Everyone around Lesche could tell his eyes were just sticking to Seria. He gladly took her hand and left the other nobles behind.
• Marlesana came up to them after they purchased a painting. She told her that she met two of her tea party members by chance and they're thinking of going to the teahouse. Lesche told her he can pick her up in the evening and he has work anyway so it's fine. She looked suspiciously at him and he told her it has to do with subjugation. She told him that she'll enjoy herself and bring some cake for him if she likes them.
• After she left, Lesche kept staring at her back and tried to reach out for her but she had already gone far. Somehow he kept feeling that she's going to disappear somewhere. He kept looking even after she got into the carriage to leave.
• Seria told him to stop as she tried to push him away. He wiped the tears from her eyes and she's feeling sleepiness approaching her. He took her hands and lowered his head leaving marks on her skin, then went to bite, lick and suck her lips while pressing his weight against her thighs. The servants had already gotten used to this by now that they don't feel embarrassed when dressing them, but Seria felt it would be too much to even cover their necks in the summer.
• Lesche asked her where she wanted to go. She wanted to visit the new teahouse with Abigail. She would like to go with him when he has time. He wanted to know where she wanted to travel to. She brought up the southern islands. Lesche decided they can go in the summer. He asked if she tried to go there before and she told him she was going to go there with Abigail. She didn't want to bother him since he has a lot of work, but he told her he's not busy. Somehow she felt it's ridiculous since he's the busiest noble she had ever seen but somehow the nights they spent together kept increasing. He won't let go so many times. It was as if he's just adjusting his schedule on a whim.
• Seria offered to help him with his work but he just laughed and said no. Seria asked why he started to want to travel together if he's busy. He told her that he's afraid she'll disappear. She told him it doesn't suit him and that she's not going to leave him.
• Seria was with Elliot and some other knights. They were trying to shock Mies into waking up. He had been in coma since that day. His face was covered by a veil since somehow Lesche doesn't want her to see Mies's face. They decided to go for a stronger shock to wake him up. Seria wanted to interrogate him about the circlet. She told them to leave her alone with Mies and told them that Mies is tied up so it should be fine.
• Seria pulled out her circlet and at that moment a large amount of divine power exploded and a strong scream can be heard. When she looked back, she saw Mies vomiting out some dark energy that reminded her of what she saw absorbed by Lina before. Why was that thing coming out of Mies's body? Dozens of questions came out. When she tried to say something, Elliot immediately broke open into the room and was shocked by the unknown mass of darkness.
• Seria watched the scene of Mies being convulsed and split out blood. Mies didn't wake up but she think she's able to understand why he wants the circlet now (probably something to do with the dark mass since it was absorbed by Lina as well). Elliot told the knights to report to Lesche immediately.
• Baron Ison had been praying since Lina's disappearance. He was sure she will return one day. He believed Lina when Lina said she's close with Seria, but he's scared of Seria. She had heard Seria had married Lesche but he thinks Seria must've done something to marry him and think they'll divorce, but then he can't say it's temporary anymore since there was a rumor they went to the museum together so they had went to the capital to see the imperial family. The baron was upset as his connection he had been expecting was falling apart.
• When he stepped into the temple hoping to pray for Lina's return again, he bumped into Seria. He greeted her politely even though he was scared of her. Seria greeted him back and smiled a smile that spook him. The baron thinks that's the reason why he likes Lina more because the cheerful saint would never smile like that. When Seria asked if he's praying for Lina's return and he didn't answer, she smiled more widely.
