Hi I just want to say or take a poll or something if everyone here especially the young ones like myself (13 years old) do not know how to mtl until a miracle( literally a chance in 1 in 100 happens) I’m sick of seeing people asking for novels that they can easily search in Chinese ( I’m so worried that they might be like me in the past 4 years of not knowing how to mtl) it’s a real peeve. I don’t know if this is just me haveing a serious anger issues or concerns but where ignore if you want to.

maybe someone should make a thread about that or maybe I will tho I’m not very knowledgeable in this area

MTL doesn't have good grammar and depending on what the Chinese text is, it sometimes makes no sense lul
Haha I still mtl though. Usually I use Google Chrome and it lets me translate the text after I right click to choose it

Really oddly for me I really like to mtl and basically haven’t gone to mtl sites or novelupdates

I am here to argue that everyone should know how to mtl because I sometime dont have anything to read on American translated novels and in a time period you have nothing to read but with mtl you can read all of the novels

Google Translate and chrome extension Text Rewriter are enough for MTL.
Edit: Zhongwen Chinese popup dictionary extension too.

Mtl is only for skimming a story, not to actually read them... Especially so using Google... Anyway it's your risk, and creating a thread in doing so is unnecessarily needed... Though it's not too bad to make a thread on how to, but I'm out lol

Ok, let me be more serious. I have no interest in mtl'ing. For someone who's main language is english, nothing grates my nerves as much as raw mtl. It is just wrong. I do not consider it something everyone should know how to do personally. It is a non-issue in my opinion. I'd rather wait for a decent translation to come out and if one is not available, I will give up and move on. Maybe read some spoilers so I know how the story ends and that's that.

It's a joke but it's pretty true. I'm a native English speaker but my grammar became much worse after reading alot of mtl.
Making a guide for those interested is fine but I think it's important to warn people too, that they read mtl at their own risk.

... You can always read English Originals?

... Though I have to say it amazes me that you can actually run out of stuff to read, I have literal hundreds of novels waiting for me to one day start reading them... And I'm pretty sure this number is not getting any smaller... >.>
