Discussion Why does the guy with dark hair always get the girl?!

Probably not only because of black hair being prevelant in Asia but also the fact that the blond and silver haired people are usually aristocrats. I feel in countries like Japan male aristocrats usually are either jerks, already married, or don't have blond hair. Tldr aristocrats are jerks

You have all been living under a rock. It was in the 90s that other colors than black was seen as being rebellious, it is now even the norm with the likes of Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Black Clover etc


I had to look it up because I did not recall the name Black Clover since I no longer watch anime but all I see is blue haired girls and non-black haired dudes
Even Dr Stone has no black hair and it has two protagonists.

It is even more obvious in all these isekai novels that are common here which are usually set in a form of Medieval Europe which means that Blond hair or even weirder hair is most common.
Since you need to make the protagonist special eg Gundam 00 and Gundam Seed.
In Gundam 00 and Dragon Ball Z, the protagonist evolves from black hair to another color.
So I ask again, what you all smoking?

I voted black, reason: honestly idk why most of the mls I like have black hair, I do like their sullen vibe, its attractive (honestly thats a problem I see in me)
and for me black hair is easy to imagine like in a "what they would look like in reality" (I dont see a lot of blondes in my area) so maybe the authors are also going for that?
