It's because we hairless monkeys are wired for survival. Sweets were rare in the wild, so they were highly sought after for that burst of energy. Wild fruit is very sour & don't have nearly as many calories as our domesticated fruit. Monkeys that still have their hair spend about half they waking time chewing to get the calories.
Food's necessary for the cells in your body to produce the energy needed for you to live. Specifically sweet things you really like because way way back when during hunting/gathering times you were always hungry and sugar/sweet things provided a quick way to get energy. Nowadays there's so much sugar everywhere that too much can cause diabetes and and liver problems and other organ problems and all that fun stuff. Basically, you can eat it, just be aware that it's bad for you and do it in moderation.
Sugar is easier to digest, since it is similar to the glyco/gluco-something that the body converts carbs into for usage. Btw, certain poisons are also sweet, like cyanide, or so I have read. Just a trivia.
This isnt scientific i just found it somewhere its long but its saying the same thing over and over again: Spoiler "The tastes buds can become acclimated to certain tastes overtime. When you eat foods all the time you don’t really notice how sweet, sour, bitter or salty they are as when you only have it once in a while. Try eating something sour, the first bite is very sour, the next few bites aren’t as bad. If ou ate sour pickles a few times a week they wouldn’t seem so sour, but if you haven’t had a pickle in a while, the next time you eat one, it will seem more sour. Same with salt & vinegar chips. When you open a bag and try the first one it tastes very sour and salty. The next few bites not so much. I liken it to how your body builds up a tolerance to pain meds or alcohol. After a while you need more to get the same effects because your body builds up a tolerance. I use to not like anything spicy when I was younger, now I can tolerate spices much more. As you age your taste buds become weaker, maybe that has something to do with it."
It tastes of all the great things, sugars in fruits, the Vitamins, Minerals, secondary plant Metabolites, fats and Proteins, which are Essential or beneficial, you do your Body good and you can taste it
basically the brain senses taste from a chemical reaction from the taste buds the combo of that with smells makes a flavor... i don’t know why we put things into certain groups like “delicious” or “disgusting” though i also feel like its not only physically tasting the flavor but how the food was made and who made it that matters as well. for example a cookie given to you at a very special moment might taste better to you than it would as a random snack.
That isn't food! That's junk food and it's bad for you! You should feel ashamed! Hand it all over to me for confiscation. I'll be sure it secure it properly in a safe place(my stomach).
Being really hungry makes most anything taste good. If ya're extremely hungry, things taste better, even if the dish wasn’t executed very well.
Depends. Dog food or cat food doesn't taste very good. Human foods are so diverse that it's impossible to like all of them.
