This is purely out of curiosity. The other day I just finished the chapter listing for the novel "The Third Prince is Too Dazzling! I Can’t Look at Him Directly!", where this novel gave me serious vibes of "The Selection" novel series by Kiera Cass. So I was wondering - are there any novels similar to this type of story plot? Where due to some reason, political or whatnot, the royal family of the novel hosts a country wide competition recruiting ladies of various backgrounds to see who would become the Prince's future bride and Princess?
There are quite a lot, but right now I only remember "I'm the Prince's Consort Candidate However, I Believe I Can Certainly Surpass It!". I don't think the novel is translated, but the manga is. Also "The Inner Palace Tale of a Villainess Noble Girl".
