Hi, I am working in a Korean IP business agency(where we translate k-novels and serve translations to English platforms). So I want to know which keyword do foreigners like,,,! And if anyone has questions about k-novels, feel free to ask! Though my eng skill is not so good, I try my best to answer them!

I think the best korean novels i have read are all the ones which have a modern setting. Korean fluffy romance novel are especially good, the entertainment industry novels are also well received, novels where the mc is a singer and the novel describes there journey from them being an idol trainee to superstar, the korean isekai's in modern setting are also very good.
    I second it.

try to find novels that have:
    1. 100+ chapters
    2. less plot holes
    3. less cliches
    4. maybe new concepts?

Showbiz with modern setting novels from korea are really liked here i think.

Also fantasy + action like "Trash of the count's family" "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" is really popular read here.

    And also BL

:hmm: i dunno, maybe @otaku31 knows better

If you are talking about which ones readers enjoy and general profitability I would recommend non-harem romance novels. They are in popular demand and typically are quality reads. Along with Romance being one of the biggest categories (if not) in novels. Also as my own personal saying goes.... find a gem and you will find prosperity. In truth, we readers are fickle things. We all differ but typically follow the same trend of leaning towards romance novels. Most novels even action, incorporate romance into the plot/subplot for good reason. That is my opinion/2 cents.

In my personal opinion, stop the western fantasy, it's getting too overdone (With the kingdoms, nobles, knights, heroes, princesses, dragons, etc.). I like to see more Korean martial arts novels, preferably with ancient fantasy elements. Also NO harem.

My favorite kind of Korean novels are those that have to do with the entertainment industry especially idols and bl ( mixed together )
It’s a shame that I haven’t been able to find translated novels of these genre and even the rare showbiz Korean novels are Bg and have harem which honestly gets tiring to read.
I would recommend finding some novels like this that hasn’t been translated fully or just finding a really good one and translating.
