It's all up to the editor now. 2nd chapter was done relatively quick, so it may be a shorter chapter.
All do the same. Look at politics. They make political groups of the same mind. Capitalist politics will not take socialist in they group and socialist group will not take capitalist in they group. It is normal to take in your group only this who have the same believes. But to destroy groups of other believes are cold dictatorship. And Alda does it now, because of his hero influence (I forgot his hero name ).
The translator has chapters 251 and 252 done and is still waiting for editing before it can be posted.
Bellwood. The literal Eco terrorist that the idiot Alda thought would make a good hero. Too bad the psycho loves nature more than he does people and will kill literally anyone to protect it.
I think we should change Alda's status from (God of Law and Punishment ) to ( God of Lies and Prejudice ).
I already said it once but, it never hurts, Bellwood was not an ecoterrorist, being one requires qualities that Bellwood does not have, discipline, planning ability, leadership or teamwork and a sense of duty for a cause that leads him to do it. what was necessary to fulfill it, he was a young university student (seriously, I am surprised that he has come so far) who dedicated himself to giving speeches with his charisma to attract people, only for them to move away because he did not have an idea or not he knew how to develop it. He was a harmless guy and everything was fine until they gave him a weapon and put him in charge of an army. In the end, the problem is that Bellwood treated this as if it were a video game or a novel, spending too much time farming, and developing secondary skills and it did not help that the gods were very dedicated to creating artifacts even if they are single use and He did not have to worry about anything because the champions of creation took care of the logistics even if he did not care about it and it was not until the end of the war that he would have realized that every minute he spent being a lone wolf, People die, only to be intoxicated in the victory of the "great evil." You know, it is interesting to see the legacy of Bellwood vs zakkart, the memory of Bellwood is known all over the world, both by allies and enemies, but his word has been distorted and has caused incalculable misery in the lives of the people that he swear to protect, And while he was a man he lived centuries with countless women, his lineage has disappeared, while Zakkart has been almost forgotten on the outside, but he is revered and loved on the inside, his words have allowed his people to live in harmony and much better than humans and until now, it continues to exist in ghouls and vampires.
Sparknotes version of @Eddy andres' comment: In his original world, Bellwood was charismatic but never achieved anything because he never planned things out. So basically, the guy could talk the talk but couldn't walk the walk. After being sent to Lambda, Bellwood was given enough power to implement his ideas even without any plans. He could just go off on his own and succeed (AKA lone wolf protagonist-style). So, because his methods worked at first, he started to view himself as the main character of a novel or video game. Meanwhile, the 'Creation Heroes' were there to clean up after him. (My words: he basically saw them as convenient support characters instead of actual comrades.) It's interesting how the legacies of Bellwood and Zakkart differ, with Bellwood's words being so widespread yet twisted in a way to cause misery and sorrow. While Zakkart's ideals are held onto fondly by small groups of non-humans, spreading love and harmony throughout the groups. For me, I sort of hoped Bellwood would be the ''big boss' and have some cunning strategies up his sleeve. Unfortunately, his track record leaves much to be desired. I don't think any of Van's remaining enemies are really devious. Rodcorte is an idiot, Bellwood sounds like that annoying Mage Masher guy (take action first, ask questions never), and Alda… Alda thought allying with Rodcorte was a good idea.
Hmm could have sworn it said he did some wannabe eco stuff in his world. Well even if he lacked the ability to pull it off he still had the ideology of one. Hence why he became such a problem when they just gave him power blindly. Now he had the power to force his ideals no matter what. But again those ideals don't actually involve helping actual people and are instead "preserving" what he seems as a world free from modern technology. I'm pretty sure that I remember it being said he burned down efforts to propagate modern technology before he went to sleep AND he refused to consider nuclear weapons because they'd "Destroy nature" even though countless people would die. But like you said his bad planning kind of made that a moot point as the demon king's miasma ended up ruining that entire continent anyway and for WAY WAY longer than a nuke would have. Either way we all agree Alda is a moron for letting himself get brainwashed by Bellwood and reduced to the state he's in now where he's so unwilling to turn back he'll side with Rodcorte rather than accept defeat. I mean he has to know if he just surrenders that Vida wouldn't let van eat their souls meaning surrender would just mean being forced to actually compromise and work with Vida again. But even then he's willing to initiate an all out war to enforce ideals that were only ever half his to begin with. Because while Alda was always about order it was Bellwood that convinced him that order meant preserving the natural world as much as possible.
Bellwood was an environmentalist who never did anything besides give speeches. His actions only got really radical after he was given power in Lambda. Beforehand, on 'Earth', he was just a charismatic guy who couldn't follow through. Heck, Vida found Zakkart just as he was about to hang himself... so, at that time, you can't really fault Alda for his choices. The main issue is how Bellwood was allowed to delude himself into basically thinking the world revolved around him. What's more, because he was the leader of the fighting heroes, he stood in the limelight and was considered important by everybody. The key exception being the Demon King, who thought the guy was a scrub and sneak attacked the heroes who were actually a threat. Also, for Alda, the guy thinks Vida went insane. It's fair to assume a crazy person isn't going to stop another crazy from killing him. Especially since Alda imprisoned and basically crucified Vida for tens of thousands of years. That doesn't sound like a good method for getting the other side's support.
Spoiler Later on, Van "appreciates" their incompetence and idiocy, otherwise, he would already be dead or living an unhappy life, of course, not in his face, nor more crazy than this would give them that taste. In addition, the premise of the story is that almost all the intelligent gods or with skill with strategy, were indisposed or were overthrown by Alda or the demon king (, more by Alda), leaving the care of the world to the less qualified (no offense to Vida, but she knows it's true). On the subject of miasma, no one knew that the effects were going to be that long-lasting, although if he is responsible for banning any kind of radiation research, who knows, this could be like I am the sorcerer king, where nuclear power is easily converted into magic power and we could have magic reactors to send the demon king back to his lead-based world. For the rest, I agree, we all go through a stage in which we think we know how to help the planet and we are completely wrong for not seeing things in depth and perspective, usually in childhood and adolescence, Bellwood is the unfortunate case where they are still adults. in the immortal words of Zakkart: Alda is an idiot for the simple fact of choosing you as champion. at least that suicide was someone who by the standards of the earth, was a trained person who had studied even the basics in various fields and with practical experience, and that counts even with the youngest champions, even famagound seems to have trained a bit in athleticism and exploration by his desire to travel the world, but bellwood was pure idealism with no foundation or talent to sustain it, even his cheat skill would have been chosen by assuming that the other champions would choose skills based on combats (although several are very useful, such as information sharing or immunity to mental attacks). Spoiler And as a special mention, with all his training and farming, in the end he won and narrowly, because the demon king did the equivalent of spending half the fight laughing at Bellwood's bad strategy.
You don't need to search far. Look at few years ago. EU ordered to add rapeseed and palm oil to car fuel. So, they could reduce the use of fossil oil. But from where rapeseed and palm oil come? Is it synthesized from air? NO! It is made from palm and rapeseed. But from where rapeseed and palm come? Is it synthesized from air? NO! It is grown on earth. How much fossil oil are just in one year in EU? A LOT! So, how much rapeseed and palm oil you will need to implement EU order of adding it to fossil oil? A LOT! How much of rapeseed and palm you will need to make all this oil? A LOT! How much land you will need to grow all needed rapeseed and palm? A LOT! From where you will get all the land you need to grove palm or rapeseed? You can take it from land you grow food. It will create food shortages and make food price increase. Or you can just cut down rain forests and jungles to create new farmland for rapeseed. And what we see? Exactly that. Entrepreneurs cut down palm forests to implement EU order. Now EU screams how evil are entrepreneurs. They cut down forests. We need to stop cut palm forest and forbid palm oil used and we need to increase rapeseed oil used. But they don't think that entrepreneurs will need to continue cutting palm forest and just burning palms (because they can't use palm oil any more) and make farmlands for rapeseed. And I wander who produce more oil from same amount of land and same amount of time? The true problem are not used of fossil oil, but amount of people on Earth. Here are adage "Drop by drop and the stone bursts" (or something like this). It means even if one human would use just a drop of something a large amount of humans will use a large amount of something. It is good to search for something more environmentally friendly, but you can't just jump randomly.
