The duke is her grandfather. I dont know who is the ML yet. My guess would be Rogen Strauss. FL wanted to be noble lady to have the easy life. She didnt plan on to be the duke but her family is fighting for that position.
I guess not many people are reading this story since the synopsis is so confusing and incorrect. The story is quiet interesting. FL is spunky. I have read up to chapter 20. So here is a bit of spoiler. Spoiler: Spoiler Hilde went to the duke house. When she arrived she asked for a bath, after she came out of the bath. All her clothes was gone. The servant replaced it with very bad costume for her to wear. So she knew that she was bullied by the servants. She knew that she had a cousin similar in age. So she asked for the cousin's outfit. She met her grandfather with the male outfit. The duke wanted her to prove her worth so he asked her to read the magical inscription. She was able to read it. First she thought that she would be accepted to the family now. But not really, the duke said be able to read didnt mean you were a wizard. So he sent her to another test. He asked her to stay over night at the haunted mansion. If she survived a night there. She would be accepted into the family.
No. The duke was her (Hilde)'s grandfather. ML was Viscount Rogen Strauss. SubML was CP. Actually CP had a crush on Rogen not Hilde. I do like this story a lot. It is the same writer as the princess is bored today. The story was about Hilde overcame many prejudices about being a commoner. She was confident and never shy away because of her low birth. She was very powerful wizard with lots of mana but a lot of nobles looked down on her and her relatives were trying to kill her, The story was progressing showing on how Hilde had build allies. At the end of the day she must decide between love or status. Spoiler: Great ending. She chose to marry Rogen instead of being a duke. FYI- Rogen was one of the top 5 richest man in the empire and he was the most handsome also (more handsome than the CP.) HIlde was pretty possessive of Rogen against CP. Her friends were people with imperfection. CP who could not do magic. Rogen who had a questionable birth but a wizard and herself who was part commoner but a wizard.
ML = Black hair and black eyes. (Sound Wizard) I think it also mentioned early in the translated chapters. Ml was so smart. He could design new spells and gave to FL to execute. FL = Blonde and purple eyes. (Fire wizard) She had the most mana in the Empire. ML & FL were great duo. ML was the brain and FL was the hands.
CP wanted to marry Hilde because she had strong mana. CP was not a wizard so he needed someone with mana to produce the wizard heir.(But CP never felt attach to women. ) I am waiting for the side stories. I wish it was about Hilda's kid. The kid with Rogen's brain and Hilda's power would be awesome and scary.
