I can't remember if it was a wattpad QT or a translation QT.... The MC transmigrated into a world as a zombie, and there's a human (let's call him human c) next to him. The ML is some kind of fighter(?) and him and his team (2 other members, let's call them human d and human e) happen to find MC, but they get locked up until MC finishes researching on... It was either a. how to turn back into a human or b. stop the zombie infection. Either case, ML's group gets released and human c is childhood friends with human d, and they get together in the end. Oh and of course MC and ML also get together in the end. Please help! The name has been bugging me for months, and I still can't find the novel. Thanks in advance!

Seems a bit like "Number One Zombie Wife" where the MC transmigrated into his own novel and became a zombie. Pretty sure there might be other novels that fit your description, but try that one out(?)
