Mafia [Mafia] DotA Lynch Game Interest and OOC Thread

Well, technically speaking it's still fine to do it in a meta level... But it's bad if you're trying to win the game.

@Lenaia is @A5G_Reaper's clone acc, she was the game's GM and sneaked her own clone into the game and made sure to behave just like most other newbies of the time.

Imagine our reaction when we saw the role of @Lenaia when she won the game~

Usually speaking, this kind of thing ends up making the game a Bastard Game... Which basically means that there will be some factor in the game that will totally mess with the usual way people play Mafia.

... As a rule of thumb, it is expected that the GM will notify the players in advance if the game is a Bastard one, but uhn... Well, nobody at the time played well, and we all played pretty casually, so we didn't particularly care about this kind of thing~

Ohhh I thought you meant Reapyon told the players that it was dumb to not lynch newbies. Lenaia first appeared during an xmas game (when I was on vacation), right? I can't remember if I ever got to play a game with her. (I do remember playing with Reapyon in the first bot game tho)

I see, I see~ Well, for me, I don't usually give newbies any special treatment unless they need help. But it's good to have newbie-friendly players around!

I remember not being able to read the words. I don't recall doing anything that scared you though?

In other words, utilitarian thinking is the best. The optimal kill and lynch targets are those who have contributed too much and too few for town, regardless of the amount of their content.

Me neither tbh. I don't mind getting feared though. It's much better than getting ignored.
