mmm i can somehow understand you i was really naive when i started to watch anime and i talked lot with my friends and some teased me but many are interested and slowly my friend started to watch and the enjoy their time .actually my family is pretty much strict and i dont use that much social app .when i started they doubted me but now i earn their trust . what we need to do them is just give some time and make them understand what we really do about nuf i really like everyone here doesn't care about who you are here we can be what we are (but certain comman sense is needed absolutely) i joined here in feb but i pretty much start to be active in march and i really made whole lot of friend sometimes it relive my mind in here after reading here i can slightly understand the mod they worked hard so we can enjoy so i want to thank mod @Parth37955 @LaDyViL l @Westeller (first i pretty much scared to interact with mod but they are actually lot more cool) @girlcatgirlcat i know how it feel people when they tell your werid but it just how we take our life i accept what i am and some real friend stayed till end with me so i hope you can also enjoy your time as you wish

This is a difficult subject, I would be blunter if I knew you better but... Think a bit more long term... This is a hobby, something you enjoy, feel happy about, etc... Could the positive that this brings be made up elsewhere for you? Just give it a simulation of your psychology if you really do leave. Spoiler: Blunter, more subjective, emotional response... If I'm getting this much resistance now from them (friends, family) about this kind of choice... What could they possibly control next? What other decisions would I potentially make just to fit in or to make them happy? To me, the situation is sort of like, you're burning/erasing your identity for them. There's "they don't understand" and there's "they don't want or care to understand." I think it might be worthwhile for you to consider which one applies to whom, and why. Upbringing/history tends to come into play, and it would be helpful for your to know and keep it in mind when you make your decisions who you want to become.

I've been using nuf for years, I'm pretty sure no one in my family know even now. I was never the type to share every hobby of mine and if they don't ask, it will never come to life. But nuf is not like a hobby, it's more of a nice community where it's easier to find people who share common interests. Plus, it's very chill. You could always go anytime if you feel like it, but do remember that you interact with real people here, some gets attached way more than expected, so if in any case that you actually wanted to leave, at least say your farewells properly... not that many can escape this abyss so easily. You'll be back again...
