@Heimyln , I will let you guys know when they find out and under what circumstances when I reach that part.

    • For their mission to Bahamut, Ianna and Dorci were given the real identity of a dead Bahamut citizen and a Bahamut citizen in prison in Ignite. Dorci uses the identity of a woman name Louise with burn scars on her face. In Bahamut, the strong is the most elevated in society. In the remote areas especially, the strong can bully, plunder and murder to take other people’s properties without accountability and punishment. Therefore, Ianna and Dorci want to turn this way of thinking on its head by sowing seeds to rebel against this way of life. Consequently, Dorci, disguised as Louise, the outcast and underdog, goes back to her village. Her goal is to make an example of the strong in that village who bullied the real Louise. There are villagers who treated her like an outcast but she really wants to topple and punish the lord of the castle who is a leader of bandits. She carries out her goal and even hang the lord and his minions on the wall of the castle and list their sins on them. She tells the villagers that people never know when the strong will be toppled because strength is relative. Some of the villagers even start to think about what if people they bullied came back strong one day and decides to take revenge like Louise. The philosophy of the strong bullying the weak is fostered and encouraged in their society so the villagers are still resistant to the opposing view. However, they at least acknowledge that the weak can retaliate as a group or by becoming strong one day.
    • The test village for really starting change among the villages in remote areas was Rentil. This village was constantly harassed by bandits from the Southeastern Coalition of Bandits. Dorci, as Louise pretty much put their operation out of business by defeating them from bottom to top rank. The leader was a former student of Wiffheimer but it’s said that lately he’s been depressed. He was called by the Vice President of the coalition to handle the formidable Louise. He too is defeated but he’s obsessed with Louise so he pretty much does what she says like a puppet. The strategy that Louise use is to turn willing bandits into guards for the village and make some of them do farming. She kills all the other bandits who choose not to surrender but attack the village. Ellie/Laos has seeds that she thinks will grow in Bahamut and so the bandits who surrendered does the farming. As a precaution, Louise also put a brain spell on them. The bandits begin to learn the value of working for their food. However, mixed into the feeling of accomplishment is the feeling of coercion because of the brain spell. However, Louise said she would consider removing the spell if they prove themselves. By the time Louise and her companions leave the village, the chief still doesn’t understand why Louise helped them. People just don’t go around helping others in Bahamut without a price. The chief asks her if she’s trying to change Bahamut. Louise says she’s only trying to do the little she can do and she tells the chief about how she was bullied and scorned in her village. The strong bullying the weak isn’t right and she basically repeat the same principles she told the villagers in the village Louise was from.
    • Dorci as Louise goes throughout the southeastern and northern parts of Bahamut. She becomes a legend as she take down lords and bandits and put honest people in charge of distributing the captured food and warehouses to the villagers. She takes nothing for herself so people are always suspicious of her. That’s because in Bahamut, people generally do not believe in charity. They believe everyone is in it for what they can get. The lords hear of Louise’s fame and they even ban together to hire knights and wizards to destroy Louise. All of their attempts fail. Due to Louise’s actions, some of them begin to change their ways before Louise even shows up. In that way they would be spared. In short, the wind of change is starting to blow, little by little in these remote areas of Bahamut. Of course it will take time for the change to take firm root but even the bandits who turned into farmers gradually began to feel accomplished after they harvested crops from the seeds that Ellie/Laos distributed. People began to do good deeds though some did them out of hypocrisy. However, even some of those hypocrites began to change with time. Nevertheless, it was difficult for the minds of the Bahamut people to understand why a strong person didn’t trample the weak but instead fought on behalf of the weak. That’s the beginning of what Dorci and Ianna came to do in Bahamut. They will start it and the people they left behind, like Fever Pistol, the former magician student of Wiffheimer, will continue it.
    • All this time Ianna, as Tara, supported Dorci behind the scenes. She was beginning to think that it wouldn’t take as long as she initially thought to remove the fear of the people of Bahamut and lay the foundation for a civil war by changing the perception of the people. Bahamut’s chaotic domestic situation, Louise’s wild past, Dorci’s spectacular magic, Fever Pistol’s support, Maran’s (radical group leader and Kanitz’s friend) brilliant intelligence operation, crops growing in the North and Ellie and Nissy’s mysterious power, all contributed to the growing success of their mission.
    • Ianna has been trying to break through her fighting level. While Dorci did the upfront work in Bahamut, Ianna focused on why she has stagnated. She eventually comes to the conclusion that Roberstein is holding her back like chains. She needed to break free in order to reach the next level. She wants to break the seal of Roberstein.
    • Maran sent intelligence to Ianna. Seems that Louise is gaining fame but the imperial family is too busy with something covert that they’re doing in the West. Most likely if anyone comes after Louise, it will be the wizards and knights who are interested in making money from the lords who are against Louise. However, there are also those wizards and knights who thought to reward Louise instead for showing the people how to grow crops and handing out food to citizens. Still, Ianna feels there is some secret plot that the imperial family is undertaking in the West. The war against Ignite is still ongoing and Ignite is defending flawlessly, however, both Arhad and Ianna think that something isn’t right. Ianna therefore tells Dorci that they need to go to West Bahamut. Turns out that Black Fox is destroying lives inthe west. They’re doing it quietly while Ignite is focused on their war in the east and Roanne is focused on securing their country. The west is vulnerable and can’t stand up to Bahamut so human lives are disappearing in the West.
    • Poor Arhad who was told the news by Ianna that instead of coming home to Ignite she’s going to the northwest, was clearly disappointed. Ianna knew that too as she tried to sympathize with him. The problem is that now that Ignite had gates, people traveling from the West didn’t have to walk across the continent so there was little intelligence about what was happening in the west. The imperial family also took great pains to put a stop to any information coming out from that side of the continent. So, Ianna was suspicious. Furthermore, Morsi and Absilot couldn’t provide information because both were now basically in Ignite. Arhad inquired of Toraka about the northwest and was told that the kingdoms of the northwest had completely severed diplomatic ties with Toraka. They even closed their borders. Saki’s Jinjai also didn’t have any information so there was complete lack of information about the northwest kingdoms.
    • There is a barrier over the place that the imperial family is keeping secret. It’s similar to the one that is over the palace of Roanne. Only the imperial family can use mana under that barrier. Ianna wonders what the imperial family is doing so secretly and Arhad says he believes they must be carrying out a massacre. Arhad says mana is influenced by him so the imperial family is probably building up their power/strength. Arhad feels that the imperial family is actually in the barrier taking divine power directly instead of making it into Life. Arhad also thinks that even with their own strength, the imperial family couldn’t create such a powerful barrier over the vast realm. Therefore, they must be taking divine power directly from people. Ianna has consequently resolved to break through the barrier even if she has to take the bull by the horns. She wants help and Arhad tells her that Lalatua and Taro already left for the northwest because Lalatua was worried about her royal family in their country located in the northwest after her brother stopped all contact a few weeks ago.
    • Arhad conveys that Lalatua and Taro are currently in Toraka (Taro’s hometown). Ianna will meet up with them today at the clock tower of the Toraka Grand Square. The group will try to make their way to the northwest from there. Arhad reminds Ianna that safety comes first. She in turn tells him to tell her if anything happens. He responds that he definitely will and she’s his knight. The two exchange “I love you” and “I miss you” before signing off. Ianna goes back to the inn and inform Dorci and Ellie that their mission in Bahamut is over. Dorci is glad to be finished with the repetitive work. Ianna also tells her that now they’re headed for Toraka. Dorci taps the floor with her cane and they teleport to Toraka, remove their disguise (leather face masks that the dwarves made for them) and Innis washes them clean of the dirt.
      End of Bahamut mission.
    • Ianna, Dorci, Ellie and Nissi meet up with Taro and Lalatua. In a restaurant, they order drinks and talk over their intentions. Lalatua complains to Ianna about her husband only telling her (Lalatua) the dangerous situation now that she’s in the middle of it. This is because Ianna shares what Arhad believes is happening in the Northwest. As usual, we all know how Arhad and Lalatua don’t get along so Lalatua complains a lot to Ianna about “her husband” this and “her husband” that. Lalatua asks Ianna if she’s taking her husband’s side and complains that she misses the Ianna from the institution. Contrarily, Ianna thinks that Arhad allowed her to go to the northwest so easily precisely because he wanted Ianna to lend Lalatua her support.
    • So, shockingly, Lalatua admits that she isn’t shaken by the fact that the people of the Northwest could be slaughtered by the imperial family. Ianna responded that she thought Lalatua was worried because she’s going to the northwest in this kind of situation. Lalatua informs them that her father was a promiscuous man. She has countless brothers and sisters. Her mother died so she doesn’t have a strong attachment to her country. In fact, it’s like another country that has nothing to do with her. She has no affection for her family. Her father also couldn’t or wouldn’t support her magic education so she sought to make money in her own right. She wanted to become a wizard in the palace of Bahamut so she attended a party there hoping to show her talent. Long story short is that she met Heinrich there whom she didn’t even know and begged him to accept her as a disciple. When her father learned of this, he slapped her right there in the middle of the party. She was sent home and locked in a tower. Her magic books that she had collected were burned and her father started to look for a man among the old nobles to marry her. Lalatua was planning to escape to Bahamut when Heinrich came looking for her instead. He pitied her and wanted to nurture her natural talent so he took her to the gray tower in Roanne as his disciple. She kept Heinrich’s secret that he was a Bahamut wizard. She considers Heinrich as her only family.
    • Regarding her brother in her home country, according to Lalatua, he knew it would benefit him to know her so he kept in touch. Lalatua says she knew that Mardial, her home country, would be ruined even before Ianna told her the northwest current situation. Ianna inquires why is she going there since she feels that way about her family and home country. Lalatua says she wanted check it herself and tell the destruction of Mardial to the world and erase it completely from her life. She admits she has always wanted to remove the words Mardial and “royal” from her name. She’s settled down in Ignite now. Ianna observes that Lalatua’s attitude towards Taro is different now. She seems to be obsessed and affectionate with him lately. Lalatua tells Ianna she’s a citizen of Ignite now and she’s no longer royalty.
    • Ianna wants Taro to track down Black Fox and their Life labs through scent. Lalatua was a little upset that Taro never told her about Life. As Ianna watched him and Lalatua, she thinks about their past and present. Lalatua specializes in biological and buff strength magic. Her ultimate goal is to work in the realm of God. She experiments on Taro even in the current timeline. Ianna hopes that things don’t end the same way for them as they did in the previous timeline.
    • Lalatua inquires if Ianna will break the imperial family barrier. She confirms she has to. They discuss several consequences including the imperial family intensifying their attack on Ignite. Ianna confirms that if the imperials show up, she and Arhad will battle them. She believes that they can’t run from the fight because it would just give the imperial family more time to get stronger. They also have to gauge the strength of the imperial family and look for a gap. The fact that Ellie and Nissy were brought along on the trip concerned Lalatua but Ianna is confident that the two will be safe even in a dangerous place like the northwest.
    • The plan is to have the king of Toraka create a disturbance at the border. Consequently, after the two separate teams parted and agreed to meet up in the wee hours of the morning, Ianna went to visit the king of Toraka. A lot of eyes are on Ianna as she visits the king. Currently, she’s the most famous person in the world, the strongest knight and queen of Ignite. The king welcomes her warmly. She wants to offer her apologies in advance since there’s a possibility that Bahamut might attack Toraka in retaliation. The king assures Ianna that an offense is better than getting caught off guard. He also informs her that Jinjai and Roanne will also send troops to help them.
    • A guest is announced and it turns out to be Schneider. While Ianna was always busy with training, Arhad did all the consultations with Schneider between the two countries. From the context of the translation, I think that Schneider was going to talk with Ianna casually and Ianna suddenly says, “I am the knight and queen of Ignite. There is only one above me (Arhad)...” She thinks that she and Schneider are no longer in a military relationship. The new relationship was one of equals. She thinks she needed to remind Schneider of that. After they got over the awkwardness by exchanging some more conversation, Schneider tells Ianna that he wants to go to the Northwest with her. He wants to see what Bahamut royal family is doing. Ianna wants to know if he isn’t busy with stuff. He admits that lately he’s been focusing on training while Bahamut is focusing on attacking Ignite. Also, in his absence, he left competent men in charge. Schneider realizes that Ianna of the past has slowly disappeared. He started using honorifics and now it seems like she’s a representative of a really different power. The affinity was still there but it was kept in check. Ianna agrees to let him come if he won’t be a burden. However, if she tells him to go back, he must go back and if things are bad, he should go back and protect Toraka. Schneider thinks it’s not strange at all for Ianna to make such rude remarks and laughs inwardly.
    • The next morning, Ianna takes her sword and cut the barrier. Isabella and Taylon feels it. Isabella wants to go meet Ianna but Taylon warns her that she would only be decapitated. Before Ianna cut the barrier, Isabella, her monsters and her Pakatua knights were feasting on the divine power of human lives. Actually the monsters do the clean up so that no bodies would be found. They’re doing this to prepare for war. (I’m beginning to think that this lady and her brother should have been tortured to death in volume 12 because of their complete and utter disregard for human lives). Anyway, when Ianna broke the barrier over the vast northwest, there was a lot of rumbling noise from the pressure released. Fortunately, since it was Ianna’s group, the spells set to kill intruders were destroyed. The bloody stench that assaulted their nostrils prompted all of the members of Ianna’s group, except Ianna, to at first reject the idea of going any further.
    • Ianna and her group meet utter devastation in the first places they reached. They see dry blood, floating fish in the lakes, rotten foods in any standing homes and destroyed buildings. The heavy stench of death and rot permeated the air. Ianna called the spirits to help to clean up the place and the spirits complain about the death and stench in in the environment. Schneider was angered like the others when he sees for the first time this kind of scene unlike a battlefield. Everyone is outraged that the imperial family massacred so many people to gain strength. (I want them dead so badly that it’s difficult to read this volume) Any remaining monsters that is eating the dead are destroyed by Ianna. She also asked Taro, with Lalatua’s help, to locate any Life labs. They find each one of them but the Black Fox had already accomplished their goal and only human clothes and a few dead bodies were left behind. Ianna realized it’s useless because the perpetrators had already left so it’s better that they teleport to Mardial, Lalatua’s home country.
    • Lalatua who boldly stated the day before that she didn’t care about Mardial has assumed a different disposition after witnessing the horrors of the places they just left. When they get there, everything was in ruins and no sign of life except monsters. The palace was destroyed as well. Lalatua thinks that Bahamut raised Mardial like a cow. It fed Mardial and then ate it. The kingdoms who paid tribute to Bahamut were the first they preyed on instead of growling predators like Ignite and Roanne. Lalatua admits she feels empty and ultimately concludes that being strong is the best after all. Lalatua concedes that she really doesn’t have a childhood home anymore. Someone, maybe Ianna, tells her to make her own family in Ignite. Lalatua is comforted by those words. Ianna thinks that Lalatua does seem more dependent on Taro now as he stood protecting her.
    • Ianna tells Lalatua that you have to be strong not to be helpless but in the case of Bahamut, they’re abnormal and they’re trash because it’s not about weak or strong. Lalatua wants Bahamut to utterly fail and disappear. She asks Ianna if it’s possible. Ianna thinks that she and Arhad should make it possible. Moreover, she begins to think of Roygen. She recognizes that Roberstein chose to die with Roygen in order to open a new world. That was the end of the Holy Age but now Roberstein and Roygen continue their lives as her and Arhad. The devil’s fragments gave power to the Bahamut monster and created this situation. Therefore, both she and Arhad wanted to put an end to the Holy Age now. She wants to build a country, live with precious people and go to a different ending than the one in the Holy Age. However, a third party appeared and is trying to interrupt the ending. That third party wants to become a monster more than the devil of the Holy Age. Bahamut desires to be the strongest and what happened after he becomes the strongest? She doesn’t dare think what would result. This is why it was her duty to break the bonds that continued since the Holy Age because Roberstein didn’t end the Holy Age properly.
    • The spirits gave up trying to purify the land. Ianna has never seen them like this before. They say it’s the resentful thoughts of the dead that is hindering them. It’s too much. It reminds them of when Roygen slaughtered the gods in the Holy Age. It’s better to clean up the land after a long time. Even Ellie and Nissy all seem deeply affected by the aura of the land. They persuade Ianna to leave the land alone for now. A black crow is watching them. It begins to speak and Ianna recognizes that it’s Isabella. She’s taunting Ianna over something they have prepared for after dinner. They exchange some threats and the crow leaves after Schneider and her exchange harsh words. Ianna gets a communication from Arhad that Eiji is missing. He can’t be found anywhere. Ianna thinks that this matter is probably the one Isabella spoke of. The Ignite group returns to their country and Schneider goes back to Toraka.
    • Ianna arrives in Ignite and goes to Arhad who tries to calm her down. She feels the impulse to go to Bahamut imperial palace but remembers Isabella’s warning. Arhad decides to investigate what happened. He sucks in all the mana that surrounds Ignite’s castle and the mana turns gold. Ianna observes that this gold mana is an attribute the Bahamut thieves could never have. Arhad needs Ianna’s help to stabilize his infiltration into the Bahamut palace so she gives him divine power. The mirror shows various things including servants, knights, wizards in the palace and others. If Arhad is attacked in this state it would be bad so both him and Ianna have to be on their guard. Ianna is grasping his hand tightly as his eyes turn red and they’re searching to find Eiji. He also has Roygen blood so unless Eiji is hidden somewhere else, Arhad should be able to find him.
    • Suddenly the image in the mirror changed dramatically as blood drip from Arhad’s eyes. Ianna, alarmed, lend Arhad more strength. Taylon’s arrogant face appeared in the mirror as he sips on red wine. There’s some banter of threats back and forth which leads to Taylon breaking Ignite’s barrier and sending Ianna (and Dorci) an invitation to dinner at the imperial palace in order to save Eiji. Ianna can’t stand the fact that Eiji might be getting tortured even though, as long as he’s alive, the spirits will be able to heal him. She wants to contact Kanitz to get information. Kanitz promises to look into the situation but needs something to help find Eiji. Ianna will send him the beads that she had used previously to find him when Margarita had kidnapped him.
    • Meanwhile, Eiji is tortured by Shallice. The whole thing would disgust any reader as she even cuts off his fingers, uses her whip to burst his mouth and a whole lot of other cruel stuff. (Reading it I get so enraged that I wish that she was first crucified by nails to a stake and then burned to death in volume 12. Villains always get such easy deaths) Poor Eiji tries to hang on to his sanity by thinking of Ignite and his sun (Ianna). He would have chosen suicide but remembered Ianna’s words to live. He doesn’t want to be a burden to Ignite but he also remembers his promise to Ianna. He wishes that he could get himself out of the situation but unfortunately he doesn’t have the power to.
    • Kanitz begins his search for information using the beads. His quest ends at the wizard tower and prison. He will have to find a way to enter these areas because currently access is only granted with special permission. He has to drink his ration of Life. It chills him to the bone to drink that stuff after learning where it came from. He noticed that his fellow knights in his section all began to change and delight in killing and becoming stronger. Kanitz learns that they will be preparing for war in earnest now. The Pakalatua knights were back from the West after devouring lives. The knights are all pumped up now to go to war against Ignite. Later Kanitz easily got clearance to increase his patrol. There are no-go zones but he’s still able to chat with some guards whom he had built up a relationship with and they told him about a high security prisoner that the empress dowager is torturing. They even talk about the delivery of torture instruments. Kanitz devises a way to rescue Eiji. He contacts Ianna and asks her about the nature of the beads. He learns there’s a certain distance that the beads gets weaker and stronger to devise location. Therefore, he and Isphi travels outside the city to experiment with distance and coordinates using the beads. This leads to a method he devised to accurately locate Eiji without fail in order to save him alive. The coordinates cannot be off otherwise they might lead to his death because the goal is to provide a teleport exactly to his location. Arhad gets the information from Kanitz and runs statistics. He has a definite coordinate. He informs Ianna as she and Dorci are leaving for the dinner in Bahamut Imperial Palace.
    • Arhad tells Ianna and Dorci that all he had do from that long range is teleport them to Eiji. It will be up to Dorci and Ianna to escape on their own. Dorci wonders if Eiji is dead. I can’t tell who responds but it’s probably Ianna. She believes Eiji is still alive. They acknowledge that even though Taylon promised to deliver him alive, he could still defer to his mother’s wishes.
    • Arhad creates the spell and teleport Dorci and Ianna directly to the coordinates for Eiji. Ianna immediately hits the floor with her huge and powerful sword in the dark space which split in different directions. They see a pool of blood next to the space and assumed it was Eiji. They also see Shallice who had fallen from the impact of the sudden explosion. Ianna points her sword at the woman and then Taylon appeared and shook off the sword. He wants to know how Ianna found the place where Eiji was held. Both Ianna and his energy met dozens of times in the blink of an eye even causing an earthquake. Taylon threatens to take Eiji’s life since she violated the invitation to dinner. Ianna tells him he can’t kill Eiji. The guy says if she thinks she can stop him, protect Eiji and teleport at the same time. Ianna raise the dimmer invitation and tells the guy that she doesn’t accept forced invitations. That’s her reply to the invitation. Ianna tells the dude, if it’s a voluntary invitation, she would come. The dude seems impressed. He decides to let them go. After Ianna leaves, there’s only her red spirit left in the room. He thinks the owner of this intense energy says she never lies. But if it’s a lie and she doesn’t come when invited, she’ll shed blood and tears regretting not coming. The dude seems to like her and thinks she’s a funny girl.
    • Eiji’s condition was so poor that even the spirits were confused. His hands, arms and whole body was covered with dirty blood. Ianna was trembling with rage. Her body was also covered in Eiji’s blood. Arhad had bring her back to her senses because she was still clinging to Eiji’s body. Dorci was also holding Eiji, looking down on his ruined face. His complexion was dark and his blue eyes which used to be clear were hazy. Dorci closed Eiji’s eyes. Let’s just say after a lot of work by the spirits and Ianna’s divine power, Eiji returned to his original form. Everything before was truly grotesque and a testimony to have much he suffered. Even his organs were damaged. The spirits advise Ianna to continue to give Eiji divine power. They can’t heal his heart and soul so Eiji will have to recover these things on his own.
    • Ianna questions herself. Perhaps she shouldn’t have left on the mission to Bahamut. Arhad tells her he didn’t notice either so she shouldn’t blame herself. They realize that they should be on guard against Bahamut even when Bahamut pretends not to be interested any longer in certain things. Even though both Dorci and Ianna stayed by Eiji and watched over him, after a few days he still didn’t wake up. Ianna called the spirits and they told her that Eiji’s soul is straddling the line between life and death. He probably suffered so much that he let go of his consciousness. This is about the heart and soul now so it’s outside of the spirits domain.
    • Ianna becomes more desperate as she thinks that she doesn’t even know how to control Libra fully. The records place has to do with life and death. She can’t advance without breaking Roberstein seal and to do that she doesn’t know what direction she should pursue to get stronger. While she getting all worked up, Arhad touches her shoulder and kisses her forehead and tells her to believe in Eiji. She finally begins to calm down. Arhad tells her if Eiji doesn’t wake up, they can use the last resort so don’t worry.
    • Ianna, Dorci and Arhad go to dinner at the Bahamut Imperial Palace. Arhad was not on the invitation but he attends so Taylon tells him that he’s like a restless foal and if he doesn’t believe in his wife’s ability. Arhad calmly told him he doesn’t trust him. Meanwhile, upon seeing Shallice, Ianna gazes at her so fiercely that the woman’s eyes trembled. (I’m sure Ianna wish she could tear her limb from limb right then and there after seeing the suffering Eiji endured at the hands of the beast masquerading as a woman.)
    • At the dinner, the nobles are also in attendance but they are on different floors above the one where the royals are. While having dinner, there are a lot of contentious topics discussed like Eiji’s torture, Dorci’s betrayal, the Northwest massacre, history of Bahamut, world domination, Truth, strong versus the weak, etc. Ianna eventually came to the conclusion that Taylon seriously lacked common sense. It was no use talking to him or trying to understand him becoming their values were so different. The guy even believe that there’s no difference between raising livestock in his country vs livestock outside his country. All should be sacrificed to gain their divine power. Ianna told him that to be absolutely strong, a person needs to build that strength and not take it from others. (I think this is very important because I believe this is why this guy loses in volume 12 despite greedily devouring everything of power...he was just an abomination of commingled power that doesn’t belong to him) The guy says that he intends to devour everything. Ianna asks him and then what. He said he will devour the dragons and then god. The guy is very proud of his Bahamut heritage even if they evolved from a deep sea lowest creature. He thinks it’s nothing to be ashamed of. He’s not like the ancestors who felt ashamed. Whether they are monsters with a human shell or not, he doesn’t care. Taylon then revealed that he intends to launch his war on the world imminently. He didn’t care if his people attending the dinner are slaughtered or not as Ianna threatened to kill everyone there. He doesn’t believe in not slaughtering normal citizens or non combatants in a war too. Everybody must die.
    • To protect her people Ianna decided that she’ll start fighting now to reduce the number of military people who would join the war so she attacked Taylon. Immediately the castle starts to collapse from their fierce battle. Nobles are trying to escape but of course some die. These are mostly military people because the strong are considered nobles in Bahamut. Ianna leads the offense while Arhad would back her up. Taylon releases his overwhelming black energy that is similar to death. Ianna even dejavu that this is the exact same feeling she experienced when she saw the black dragon scale when she attended the ceremony with Schneider in the temple of Laos. She pinpointed right away that it’s Kademion’s aura. Clearly, the energy is also from the numerous people that Taylon slaughtered. He even bragged that he slaughtered a quarter of the world’s population already. The energy from the dead that he absorbed was making Ianna feel afraid but she released her overwhelming energy and scattered the black energy. Arhad attacks Taylon from behind with lightning and Isabella blocks it. Taylon calls Arhad a coward. (Keep in mind that this coward will attack Arhad and Ianna when they are weakest after destroying the devil’s heart. Both Arhad and Ianna were even throwing up blood after the destruction of the devil’s heart) He thinks of his brother who had the world under his feet and yet decided to erase time to start again. He didn’t understand why Arhad would do that. In the first timeline he was more like the devil. Now even Arhad’s darkness is not black. His darkness has instead decided to coexist perfectly with the light and so there’s golden sparkles coexisting in his darkness. He didn’t understand why Arhad changed like this until he met Ianna.
    • Taylon and his family leaves the hall and a bunch of teleports are created. He comes before the swarming army gathered in the capital. They’re there to gain status and wealth by going to the war. Taylon declares a war on the world. Immediately the armies are sent to different areas of the world and unsuspecting, unprepared people are slaughtered.
    • The Great War, which Arhad and Ianna expected, begins. Kanitz had given them intelligence that alerted them to the intention of Bahamut so the war was expected. The numbers of Bahamut armies outside attacking Ignite doubled and the Ignite armies were getting scared until Absilot growled loudly and reminded the armies that unlike others, Ignite’s armies are accustomed to fighting humans and monsters.
    • Meanwhile, Ianna, Arhad and Dorci end up teleporting to Himarape Ice Park. The coordinates were off. However, while Ianna was discussing contentious topics with Taylon, Arhad was silently rewriting multiple teleports which eventually led to some of Bahamut’s armies teleporting to their deaths. Nevertheless, there were still teleports that worked. Ianna also noticed that Dorci was holding a hand. Turns out that Dorci was able to cut off Shallice’s hand. Dorci said she’ll deliver it to Eiji until when they get their revenge on Shallice. Ianna couldn’t help laughing despite the situation because she wonders when did Dorci have time to cut off the woman’s hand and then she thinks that now both mother and daughter are missing a hand.
    • The group returns to Ignite. They won’t fight. They will instead fight the Bahamut royal family to prevent them from waging brutal massacre across the continent. Therefore, a federation was formed among Roanne, Toraka, Jinjai and Ignite. They believe if they let Bahamut massacre other countries, it will lead to them becoming stronger so it’s better to stop them. The federation vows to do their best to help each other and minimize damage. Ignite has also gotten bigger. The peoples of some of the southern countries wanted to come under Ignite so Arhad took them in. Unfortunately the security shield for the southern border of Ignite wasn’t finished so Arhad is concerned about that area. The general of the allied forces for Ignite has therefore led an army there for defense. Meanwhile, Eiji’s assistant is drowning in work since Eiji is still in a coma. Arhad has to decipher the intelligence himself since the assistant is overwhelmed. He asks her to identify areas where they aren’t getting intel because of missing informants. By doing so, they come up with possible areas on the map where the Bahamut family may be. Dorci, Ianna and Arhad would go to those areas. Ianna meets Dorci in the room where Eiji is still lying unconscious. There are always spirits there watching over him. Beside Eiji’s bed, Dorci has Shallice’s embalmed hand in a case. Both Dorci and Ianna wishes Eiji will wake up soon. They can’t believe he would just die like this.
    • While searching with Dorci, Ianna begins to feel nervous. It’s because now she has precious things to protect. In her first life, nobody was precious to her so she fought fearlessly. This time, however, there are a lot of things to protect. Dorci asks her if she had her breakthrough yet because she had previously told Dorci that her growth was stagnated. Ianna wants to get rid of Roberstein badly but she can’t break the seal. Dorci, sits down tired. Ianna looks apologetic for not considering her fatigue but Dorci tells a surprised Ianna that she’s half human, half fish (I think this is merman). She tells Ianna not to worry about her because she recovers quickly. Dorci looks young so she always thought Ianna knew she wasn’t all human. Ianna, as usual, simply accepts people for who they are without wondering too much. Dorci asks Ianna to confide in her. Ianna reflects on her relationship with Dorci and decides to tell her about Roberstein. Long story short, Dorci provides the right answer to Ianna. She tells Ianna that instead of suppressing and trying to get rid of Roberstein, it’s probably better to understand Roberstein and decipher what it is that Roberstein is actually trying to accomplish through her. Ianna’s ego is too strong so she needs to listen to Roberstein to find out how to break the seal.
    • Ianna and Dorci fight Isabella and Shallice where they found them as they’re slaughtering people by dominating mana and leaving the people defenseless. Only Roanne, Toraka, Jinjai and Ignite are contending well since they are battle experienced against the Bahamuts. Ianna thinks about Roberstein as she pursues the imperial family. She realizes that she needs to recover Roberstein’s memory in the latter half of the Holy Age in order to unseal the seal. As she allows Roberstein to affect her, she notices she’s thinking of ways to coexist with Bahamut but her strongest desire is still to kill them. Ianna realizes that Roberstein’s balance way of thinking is affecting her. She also wonders why Roberstein wants to keep living when she didn’t want to live after she killed Roygen. Ianna concludes that’s it’s probably because Roygen didn’t die so Roberstein didn’t die. She wants to know the answer and she believes only Laos and Kademayon will be able to provide the answer.
    • Meanwhile, Taylon and Arhad are fighting. Taylon tells Arhad he wants to take everything from him including his woman. Arhad pays him no mind. Taylon has Arhad’s memories and the devil’s memories. Arhad knows this. Taylon thinks that Arhad is alive because he allowed him to live because all along he knew where Arhad was because of Arhad’s memories imprinted on the fragments and possibly because he remembered bits of the first timeline. I think Kademayon also restored Taylon’s memories of the first timeline. However, Arhad tells Taylon he should remember too that he’s living this second life because he, Arhad, turned back time. Arhad had defeated Taylon soundly in the first timeline by entrapping him in a very elaborate trap and then squeezing him to death, figuratively speaking. Taylon wants payback because he remembers the shame (poor him because even in this lifetime, when he attacked Arhad when Arhad was sick and weak, Arhad had already devised a plan for that worse case scenario. The damage that he did to Arhad’s heart with his sword and forced heart sharing allowed Arhad to transfer the damage in turn to Taylon’s heart). During all this chatter, Taylon is trying to find out about Arhad’s power of time deletion but Arhad knows his intention. Arhad is more interested in discerning Taylon’s energy rather than heeding Taylon’s chatter. Arhad is different from Roygen and different from first timeline Arhad. He founded a country with his beloved woman and all he wants to do is to protect that precious goal. That’s why in this life he has decided to be a shield instead for his woman and their people. Taylon decides to send a long range attack on Ignite to spice things up.
    • Ianna decides to return to Ignite. She wants to go see Kademayon (poor girl doesn’t know this dragon is working with Taylon even though she sensed the same aura of Kademayon from Taylon). Ianna wants to know what happened to Roberstein near the end and believes only Laos and Kademayon have the answer. She knows that Roberstein was very depressed for a while but after her sudden reappearance after time away, she was very tranquil and was even getting along with Roygen. Roygen was living in peace with her after killing the gods. It was just the two of them. Arhad also confirms this and said that Roygen and Roberstein were getting along like lovers until she drove a sword into his heart. This means that Roygen didn’t know that she bore his child and therefore Arhad doesn’t know and Ianna doesn’t know because her Roberstein memories are incomplete. Arhad, at least, knew all of Roygen’s memories from the first timeline since he completed his soul. Ianna leaves to seek Kademayon and Angelina comes to Ignite in her place to lend her strength.

Ianna finds out when she’s dead. She goes through the process of present day memories backwards to the Holy Age memories and then back to the present. Ellie/Laos then appeared before her and apologizes for his stubbornness and stupidity because if he had told Ianna the truth when she asked about him as Ellie, she wouldn’t have gone to the untrustworthy Kandemayon who laid a trap with Taylon for Ianna. In fact, Kandemayon was the one who created Bahamut to balance Laos actions of creating Roanne and Roberstein. So Ianna knows Roberstein gave birth to Laos and that Kandemayon is Laos shadow to balance Laos. Effectively it also mean that Roygen didn’t know he had a child. Roberstein killed him before he knew anything. She sealed Laos and asked him to create a new world after the end of paradise. Laos was a young kid and was more concerned by missing his mother and didn’t allow her to die but sealed her soul in Roberstein clan who rejected it but one day when Arhad was born, Roberstein woke up and broke the seal on Lebony only so that she can give birth to Ianna since Arhad was born...kind of like to stop the devil.

Laos didn’t reveal himself to Ianna because he was ashamed of his earlier actions ages ago of trying to hold on to his mother and his father as well. He couldn’t touch the fragments of his father though. He wanted Ianna to love her life without the burden of Roberstein and himself. She had found love with Arhad so he didn’t want to interfere because it might wake up their prior lives. After all, Ianna is Roberstein but not Roberstein and Arhad is a Roygen but not Roygen. Arhad probably finds out about Laos as Roygen’s child after Ianna came back to life. They talked about Laos and Kandemayon but the book didn’t describe their dialogue. In any case, Roberstein existing with Ianna was able to talk to Laos, kiss him, comfort him and apologize to him for burdening him at such a young age with creating the world. She cheered him on and told him to live his life. She intends to die now and join Roygen. She tells Ianna to destroy her heart now and Ianna does because Kandemayon also tells Ianna if she doesn’t destroy the heart, which is the last vestige of the Holy Age, he will make Bahamut immortal too. (If I was her I wouldn’t have saved his arse in volume 12. Just saying.) Anyway, as a present in volume 12, that Kandemayon did ask Ianna and Arhad to give some of their essence, soul or something on two eggs so that Roberstein and Roygen could be born again into the world hundreds of years from now. It’s his gift to Laos for winning the bet. The eggs will be placed into a rebuilt records place.

    O
I see! Roberstein and Roygen were nearly equal so Roberstein's power of Judgement (Libra) could exist. Laos was immensely powerful, being the son of the two most powerful gods (not sure what his power does though), but he had to have a counterpart to oppose him so equilibrium could be maintained in the Balance of the World. And that is why Kandemayon exists. (But I don't know what Kandemayon was thinking when he supported Taylon - supporting Taylon was the opposite of getting balance in the world.)

You’ll understand better once I dump all of volume 11 spoilers. I’m speeding reading to finish it. Just the main points will be posted.

Actually, Roberstein always had the power of balance since she was the first god. She just really sucked at management of paradise. lol Roygen wasn’t considered a powerful god. He was considered the lowest of the low gods. Lebony was a low god too. Roygen couldn’t create divine power so he was mocked and scorned by the other gods but he improvised and created mana, which does not have life. I think Arhad and Roygen are alike in this way. Both are technical minded so I think Arhad will do just fine now that the world changed in volume 11 from the mado/magic age to the dark age and hopefully next to the science age. That’s the difference between him and Taylon. Taylon is a parasite that steal the powers of others. Arhad, like Roygen, creates his own power aka time deletion plus Arhad keeps coming up with new ways to do things as the world changes. He has a very intelligent mind. But regarding, Roberstein and Roygen, just like Ianna supplies Arhad with divine power, Roberstein regularly supplied divine power to Roygen. The same feeling that Arhad had, feeling like a parasite, when Ianna first sweet talk him into taking her divine power, Roygen felt exactly the same way towards Roberstein.

Laos is powerful because of Roberstein and probably because he was also born in the records place. The fetus was affected by the place since Roberstein went there to hide from Roygen so she can quietly give birth. That records place deals with balance as well or life and death so the black shadow came about to balance Laos. (I skim through this part because it was a lot of world theology and I’d rather wait for the English translation). Anyway, the black shadow is death and chaos and Laos is probably life and law. They balance each other.

@Lilyworld @ArkiV_10 @Sitron17 @Silver.daphne I stand corrected. Ianna and Arhad found out about Laos a little earlier although for them Laos as the child of Roberstein and Roygen was an “unconfirmed” suspicion at first.
So, Ianna tells Arhad that she believes Laos is the child of Roberstein. This is because Laos is a dragon like Roygen, Roberstein disappeared for a mysterious period and the feelings Ianna remembered experiencing from Roberstein were those of love, protection, etc. Ianna recognized those feelings from the time she held Evelyn, Isphi and Kanitz’s baby girl. She put all these clues together plus the fact that Roberstein and Laos seem too deeply connected.

Here’s the sad part, Roygen’s consciousness in Arhad and Arhad were shocked. They want to know why Roberstein chose to keep this a secret from him. Ianna speculates that Roberstein was afraid Roygen would hurt Laos since he was killing other gods. Roygen inside Arhad’s consciousness cries, “Why, why, why?” He was deeply hurt by Ianna’s speculated reason. He who could never produce life (divine power) had in fact created a life in Laos. Roygen is very hurt by this and tells Arhad he wants to give up and do as Roberstein wants. In other words, he wants to die. That means going to destroy the demon’s heart. This is a change in Roygen who was clinging to life. However, now that he found out about the child, he wants to die. Arhad and Ianna thinks that they should at least let Roberstein and Roygen settle their feelings and misunderstandings first before they die completely.

    • Ianna goes to Kandemayon to ask questions. The end result is that the black dragon finally ensnared her into his trap by convincing her to burn all the holy items to unseal Roberstein’s heart. Instinctively, Ianna doesn’t feel that this is right. She feels the method is cowardly especially since it involved burning phaemdre where Roberstein soul is sealed. That means that the slowly recovering tree can be seriously damaged. She also finds out from the dragon that there’s something wrong with Arhad’s heart because of the power he gained. She never knew about this so she realizes there is a power Arhad possesses that she knows nothing about.
    • Ianna returns to Ignite. She tells Arhad what she learns. She tells Arhad about the fact that the dragon said he has another power. He doesn’t deny it and tells her it’s homework. She then goes to visit the fighters who were keeping the people of Ignite safe by taking on the imperial family. These include Dorci, Angelina, Herrace and a few others. She even learned from Arhad that Shallice infiltrated near Eiji’s room and Herrace followed her and defended the place and the soldiers. Ianna acknowledges that Herrace has grown really strong ((y)). He can at least hold his own against the imperial family and that’s why he was chosen along with Angelina and Dorci. Ianna goes to all of them, one by one, and thanks them for their service and gives them divine power. Angelina was worn out and tired. Ianna and her talked affectionately.
    • Ianna continued to work on unearthing Roberstein. Remember Dorci told her that she needs to find out what Roberstein wants. Anyway, there was a fierce battle with the imperial family outside Ignite. Ianna/Roberstein got up with half/half consciousness and goes there. Arhad was fighting with Taylon. Both Roberstein and Ianna got really angry and murderous. They injure Taylon badly and his arse and his troops had to teleport out of the area quickly. However, it’s clear that he was waiting to see this moment because that means now Ianna will go to unseal the sword and destroy the devil’s heart.
    • After Taylon scampers away, Ianna/Roberstein now turns to Arhad. Roberstein wants to kill Arhad. Ianna is pissed with her because there’s no way anybody is going to hurt her man. There’s a war inside Ianna’s head and she screams. The Ignite army was celebrating because she made Taylon run away but those who know Ianna realized that something more was going on so they dismissed the army. Arhad, who guessed what’s happening, goes to Ianna and hugs her. They went to their room but Ianna is still battling Roberstein’s ego. Arhad knows that she wants to kill him but Ianna is fighting it. There was some hot kissing and stuff and in the end Ianna pushed down Roberstein’s ego.
    • Ianna is really upset by the experience. She wants to get rid of Roberstein as soon as possible. To be honest, Ianna has been unstable emotionally and mentally throughout volume 11. It’s probably because she and Arhad have to shoulder the protection of their people against the monsters in the imperial family who has absolutely nothing to lose especially since they care about nothing and no one. So ever since she spoke with Dorci about her stagnated growth and Roberstein, she’s been sporadically nervous and mentally unstable. Due to the experience of Roberstein attempting to kill Arhad, Ianna decides to use Kandemayon’s method. She goes to phaemdre and asks her if it’s okay to burn her body/stump back on the Roberstein estate where Roberstein’s soul is sealed. The tree gives her the okay. Ianna still feels bad about this but she’s determined to get rid of Roberstein.
    • Ianna sneaks into the Roberstein’s estate. She calls the spirit of fire but the spirit refuses to burn the tree. He just can’t do it and discourages Ianna about burning it. Ianna therefore takes a fire artifact that Arhad gave her. She lit the stump but Harchen shows up and tried to stop her. She pushes him away and successfully lights the stump. Roberstein isn’t giving up so phaemdre from the elf forest came to the stump there and persuades Roberstein to give in because Arhad is not Roygen. She tells Roberstein that she and Roygen’s time is over and now it’s Ianna’s and Arhad’s time. The world won’t end. Ianna and Arhad have a better and different future. Furthermore, Ianna intends to destroy the devil’s heart to free Arhad so Ianna’s goal coincides with Roberstein’s goal. Only then did Roberstein settle down and accept Ianna’s will.

    • Harchen and Ianna has a talk afterwards. He said Laos sent him. Ianna wants to meet Laos but Harchen said Laos is a god but he’s also a scaredy-cat. Ianna wants to know how Harchen met Laos. He says it’s after he returned to life again (when Arhad turned back time). Harchen had all his memories just like Ianna. Like Ianna, he was also confused. He went through a time of even trying to change things for their family. He even considered stopping Ianna’s birth but Laos told him he couldn’t. So in his own way he tried to change some things like sending flowers to Ianna even when she rejected his actions. He watched Ianna to find out how she would grow because he knew Ianna had her memories too since Laos told him. Even when Ianna was a baby, Harchen knew she had her memories. Harchen and Ianna also talked about the ceremony with Schneider and the dragon scales. They also apologized to each other for the things that happened in the first and second timelines.
    • Due to the information Ianna got from Harchen, she concludes that Laos is a dragon and along with other information and experiences, she believed him to be the child of Roberstein and Roygen. ( I posted the spoiler for this above so refer to it.) Needless to say that Roygen was very hurt by this knowledge since he never knew he had a child. Arhad was also shocked by the news.
    • Ianna goes to Eiji. He still hasn’t woken up. She tells Dorci, who spends a lot of time watching over Eiji, to hold her hand and let them go into the world of truth. Dorci gladly joins Ianna as Ianna brings up Libra and they go to the records place. They see Eiji’s soul and it’s hanging on to the world by a string. This means he isn’t dead (Ianna will experience this too when she dies). Dorci tried to get him to wake up by scolding him. However, her scolding triggers Eiji’s soul to go into the path of death for rebirth because he believes he would be a hindrance to Ignite since Shallice told him that she’ll kill him in front of his friends. Dorci hangs on to his soul and Ianna hangs on to Dorci. He’s going into the world of retrograde (Ianna experiences this too) where his memories of the present, starting from his recent torture, goes through to his memories of a little boy being experimented upon by Margarita and Dorci saves him. Ianna manages, with much damage to her body, to get Eiji and Dorci out of the retrograde. Eiji finally wakes up and thanks Ianna for saving his life again. The spirits restores Ianna’s body.
    • Ianna tells Arhad that it’s time to go remove the sword from the demon’s heart. They go to the black dragon’s place to find the fissure in pandemonium. The black dragon knows they’ve fallen into his trap. Before pulling out the sword, Roygen asks to speak with Roberstein. He apologizes to her because he didn’t consider the burden she carried. He said he’s been thinking for several days now. (Probably after he found out about Laos). He even tells her that he loves her. He said he watched how Arhad lived loving Ianna and I guess he realized his faults in the relationship. Roberstein said some things too like apologizing. Roygen started to mention Laos but stopped. He tells Ianna to destroy his heart. Roberstein seem to only begin to cry like crazy after Roygen disappeared. ( I mean, how about showing the man your feelings while he was there. I just hope the English translation shed more light on their last conversation because I was disappointed by Roberstein. Ianna does much better than her and Ianna keeps her promises).
    • Ianna is all emotionally engulfed in Roberstein’s pain and suffering. She’s crying a lot. However, the destruction of the heart leaves Arhad half dead and in a colossal mess. He’s vomiting blood like crazy. He’s in and out of consciousness. To make matters worse, the destruction of the devil’s heart is causing major environmental upheaval. The earth is shaking. The flow of air, water, wind, etc. is a major mess. Ianna has to climb up the endless cliff with Arhad on her back. Even the difference in environment makes Ianna feel like vomiting. Arhad, when he regains consciousness from time to time, urges her to rest. However, Ianna doesn’t feel safe unless they’re back in the castle.
    • At one point, Ianna is totally out of it and so is Arhad. However, the area fills with black fog and Ianna feels uneasy. She doesn’t know if it’s the black dragon but she doesn’t like the feeling. She was going to pick up Arhad but he throws her off. It’s because the parasite Taylon is standing there with his sword dug in Arhad’s heart. He and Kandemayon plotted the right time to attack and kill Arhad. (Winning like a coward is nevertheless a win). He does the heart sharing spell. He thinks back to the beginning of his acquaintance with the black dragon. He wanted to go to the academy to kill Arhad because he has Arhad’s memories but the black dragon convinced him that god was on Arhad’s side so he’ll lose anyway. If he listens to the black dragon, he will tell him the perfect time to kill Arhad which is now when Arhad is already in critical condition after the devil’s heart is destroyed. He figured he didn’t need the devil’s heart because Arhad’s heart is enough. (Heh. Parasite) After he finished the heart sharing spell, he keeps trying to kill Arhad by crushing his heart with the sword but Arhad isn’t dying because he’s erasing time. Heh.
    • Ianna is seriously injured as she’s restrained by Shallice and Isabella, but after she comes to her senses and see Taylon trying to kill Arhad repeatedly, my girl went super Saiyan. Despite the fact that her body is a mess and her mentality is strained because of the climb in pandemonium and this surprise attack, Ianna’s will to save and protect Arhad is solid and strong. She blows the two away and even parasitic Taylon got goosebumps. Ianna is raving mad and Taylon even cuts off her arm but she lets go an overwhelming bomb of divine power that blasts them away. Then she forms a shield around her and Arhad that nobody could penetrate with anything in the world.
    • Taylon is mad. Dude is spitting up blood probably because Arhad is also unconsciously passing on heart damage to him. He wants to kill Arhad like crazy but then Nissy, Herrace and Angelina shows up. Herrace tells them to back off. After raving, they leave especially because even Taylon was injured by Arhad and Ianna. (Heh. He’s still a loser no matter how much power he steals)
    • Ianna is under the shield crying and holding Arhad after checking his breath and heart. She knows the spirits can’t heal hearts but she still calls them. Ianna tells Arhad what would be the point of this life again if he dies. She promised to defeat him and be his knight. She loves him so much she doesn’t want to live in a world without him. Through a series of thoughts, Ianna decides to screw this absolute truth about balance. She’ll break it. She also decided it was time to stop relying on other people’s power (Libra) and create her own power. This is when she develops her new technique. She will cut and cut until she tears the balance apart. She becomes one with her sword and with the force of her will, she breaks the balance. The spirits rush in and restores Arhad’s heart to a perfectly healthy and strong heart. After this, the balance decides that Ianna is a heretic and demands that she be locked up and disappear from the world.
    • Ianna realizes she’s dying. This time however, unlike the first timeline, she doesn’t want to die. She has her beloved man, her country, her friends and a lot of happiness still to live out. She won’t die. She wants to live. She wants to live with Arhad but there’s no denying that her body and mind are getting weaker and hazy.
    • Arhad wakes up and blood from Ianna’s face is dripping into his mouth. Ianna is still holding him. Her body is also a mess. Arhad’s face starts to twitch when he realizes she’s cold and there’s blood dripping from her nose and eyes.
    • The world had drastically changed. There are lakes and sea where none were. There are mountains that sprung up out of flat land. The continent expanded and those who wished to explore the new world beyond Bahamut decided to take the chance to go beyond. Nature had changed as well and the dragons are free to fly the skies and roam now that the devil’s heart was destroyed. Mana is controlled by Bahamut and of course, the natural owner, Arhad. Previously Arhad allowed the world to use mana and never interfered but since Taylon forced Arhad to share heart with a spell, he only allowed his Bahamut armies to control mana. Consequently, Arhad allowed his people to control mana as well. The other people of the world learned that mana was not a gift of god since it was only controlled by those two. Therefore, the mado era came to an end and the world was forced to look at natural laws of physics as directed by the temple of Laos. A new era started called the Dark Age because people were trying to find their way in this confusion. (Well, Ignite was already working on science previously so it will probably explode after the war)
    • Meanwhile, Taylon tried to kill Arhad and destroy Ignite in all sorts of vicious ways as soon as Arhad recovered but the parasite, in his frustration, wasn’t able to. All of his secrets were already revealed now so Arhad knows how to deal with him. Arhad goes to visit Ianna in the room where he’s keeping her outside of time or rather, Arhad constantly erases the time when it reaches a certain point. It’s been a month since they fell into Kandemayon and Taylon’s trap and Ianna still hasn’t woken up. Her spirit is gone. Arhad tells Ianna that she has to live. He remembers hearing Ianna crying and he wanted to wipe her tears. What Ianna didn’t know was that Arhad had already planned for the worse case scenario of this exact plot of Taylon’s. The heart sharing that Taylon forced on him was a double edge sword for Taylon. Arhad recognized this and fully intended to push the damage from his heart to Taylon’s heart using the heart sharing and time deletion. In addition, since Taylon also had half his soul (what a parasite), he could transfer his consciousness to Taylon’s body. In short, even in the state of an unexpected but expected attack, Arhad in his weak state was coldly devising options and performing time deletions. He was determined to live for Ianna who called him her happiness. He was determined to never die. However, in the midst of all his workings, something unexpected happened when Ianna protected him from Taylon and Taylon had to step down in misery from his attempt to kill him.
    • The problem was Libra that demanded Arhad’s death and was interfering with his time deleting power. While Arhad was fighting against the balance, he heard something he didn’t expect. Ianna is crying and saying why did they come back. She promised to beat him who always defeated her and she promised to be his knight. Only then did the force of balance split and neutralized. His heart was then fully restored by the spirits and not by the power of time. However, by the time he came to his senses, Ianna’s soul had already slipped away even after he constantly deleted time. Arhad got the spirits to restore Ianna’s body and built a ‘room of time’ and placed her body in the room. Arhad erases time continuously to keep Ianna’s body from the ravages of time and it became easier to do because of the explosion of natural strength in the new world. Arhad thinks back to the first timeline when he held Ianna’s broken body. He went to Laos and Kandemayon to revive her but they couldn’t. That’s when he developed the power of time deletion and also gained access to the records place. In the present day, Arhad had tried several ways to get Ianna to wake up but was unsuccessful. All he could do for now is focus on overhauling the country and protecting the people. Taylon now had half of Kandemayon’s power, half of Bahamut power, and half of Roygen and Arhad’s power. He is running wild and trying to destroy Ignite and the world.
    • Despite all of Taylon’s “stolen” powers, Arhad is still blocking him successfully. Formerly Arhad was a sword but in this second timeline, he was able to love Ianna to his heart’s content so he wanted to be a shield. He wants to protect the world where he lives with her. Therefore, Arhad raised his abilities for protection and it became a unique and powerful strength of his. He believes in Ianna and her sword. He thinks her sword is invincible. He believes she keeps her word and she promised that she’ll always be by his side so he’ll wait for her to come back.
    • Ianna is trapped in the world of Libra where only black and white exist. However, she’s constantly drawing and swinging her sword. She’s wielding a sword and doesn’t know it in her unconscious state. Ianna doesn’t know who she is but her will is like steel as she desperately swings her sword to cut. The more the world balance tried to keep her trapped, the stronger and sharper her will grew. She keeps cutting. Her soul finally defeated the force exerted by the world. Her love for the sword in her heart radiated and all of her built up knowledge of the sword and technique all came together into the ultimate. The chains of iron on her will was cut as she raised her sword. The ultimate attack stretched in a straight line and split the world from beginning to end. Libra was forced to let her go because it couldn’t contend with her will.
    • Ianna appears in the records place after getting out of Libra. There her soul was forced to go through the process of being dead. Ianna’s soul returned to its final moments. She looked down on a dying Arhad in despair. Memories of their love, of protecting Arhad, of her dreams of happiness with him, etc. Her soul continues to be dragged to the past memories even to her childhood as she holds on to a yellow Adonis flower (eternal happiness). Ianna is even taken to the memories of the Holy Age and now knows that Roberstein gave birth to Laos and Kandemayon popped up out of Laos’ shadow. Then all the memories flow from the past to the present. Ianna thinks that now she’s going to die. She absolutely refuses to die because she wants to stay and live by Arhad’s side. She sees a way that leads to life but it’s so far away like climbing up a tall mountain. Libra ignores her like a heretic that broke the law and she jumped out of death of her own volition and crawled up to life. She takes a break for a while and became like a lost child wandering nowhere while embracing the flower and a sword.
    • Ellie and Nissy are visiting Ianna in the timeless room where Arhad placed her. Nissy is sad but Ellie tells her not worry because Ianna will wake up soon. Ellie/Laos melts into the world and becomes the white boy. He had felt when Ianna snapped the balance and came to the room that Arhad tightly guarded. He goes to where Ianna’s soul is and she senses his special presence. Ianna already guessed he’s Ellie. She tells him she doesn’t understand him (his intention, I guess). Laos apologizes to Ianna for his stubbornness and stupidity. He wants to help her get back to life. Since she’s weakened the balance, she’ll only have to pay a low price. Ianna doesn’t accept his apology. She wants answers. She asks him if he’s Roberstein’s child. He had no choice but to admit it. Ianna told him she’s been thinking for a long time that he was Roberstein’s child and in the death process she regained Roberstein’s memories. Laos is shaken by this. He tells Ianna at the end of the Holy Age his mother sealed him and told him that the era will end. He tells her the story of all that he did. Eventually Roberstein appears and comforts him and apologizes to him. (I posted the spoiler in a prior post above). The black dragon shows up too and tells Ianna to destroy Roberstein’s heart or he’ll make Bahamut immortal. Ianna stares at him coldly and asks Roberstein what she wants to do. Roberstein decides to die. She says goodbye to Laos.
    • Ianna goes back to her body after the black dragon promises not to interfere anymore since Laos won’t either. She wakes up and notices that the room has a flow of time but only up to a limit. Everything in the room is stationary. She wonders what this place is. She opens the door. Outside is a field of yellow and red Adonis. She was just about to call Arhad but he shows up looking thinner, paler, more mature and battle worn. They just stare at each other. She asks how long it’s been and he says a year. Her heart breaks when she thinks that he’s been shouldering everything by himself for a year. He keeps asking her if this is real and they eventually kiss and he’s convinced by her arms and warm lips. She tells him that she’s figured out the homework question. He has the power to delete time. He asks her if she has her memories from the first timeline. She doesn’t answer but is shocked that Arhad had his all along but then he was the one who deleted time so it made sense that he retained his memories. Throughout their questions and answers, Ianna realized again how much Arhad sacrificed to turn back time because of her promise to be his knight. The whole conversation (which I provided spoilers for in a prior post) leads to Ianna loving Arhad even more. He was a man who has proven time and time again how much he loved her unconditionally.
    The end

But when will the world find out that Arhad is bahamut's illegitimate child? And that he is not weak but in fact super strong and rich?

I’m not sure about the world but the people of Bahamut knows that he’s the illegitimate child of the imperial family. On their mission in Bahamut, Ianna was annoyed when she heard people talking bad about Ignite and Arhad. However, those people were brainwashed just like citizens who live in a closed country with information of the outside world cut off. They talk about how he stole the blood of the imperial family. Some even say they hope he’s not trying to take over Bahamut after they learned he will help the revolutionary forces in volume 12. This is another reason why I’m glad Ignite didn’t take over Bahamut. The place would be a big challenge to control. It was probably best to let them deal with their own mess but the beliefs and mentally there is too foreign to the outside world. It will take time for those people to catch up to the outside world.

As to the rest of the world knowing that Arhad is a Bahamut illegitimate child, it wasn’t especially mentioned. The world knows however that only Arhad and Taylon (because he has Arhad’s soul) could control mana. That’s a big deal because even machines that work with mana failed. People had to learn to use divine power but it’s not that easy to learn. Most people wouldn’t be able to control it either. Taylon and Isabella calls Arhad “brother” but it’s never where other people can hear because nobody dares approach these people. So maybe other leaders may know only through gossip and intelligence.

The people of Ignite and leaders of the world know Arhad is strong. He was the only one fighting Taylon head on when Ianna was meditating and dealing with Roberstein. The only problem is, while Arhad is concentrated on Taylon, the two ladies and their Pakalutua knights can also slaughter people. However, Ignite does have a good army and elite force. When Angelina showed up in Ignite, she told Arhad and Ianna that Schneider sends his thanks for their aid in preventing wholesale slaughter in other countries. That’s because Arhad was stopping Taylon and Ianna/Dorci were preventing Isabella/Shallice. In addition, in volume 12, Arhad went to help the revolutionary army in Bahamut and he decimated the Pakalatua knights in many different areas before Isabella showed up. So the revolutionary armies know that he’s also a powerhouse because the knights are the most terrible level after the imperial family. But the king of Ignite showed up in a second, decimated them and then teleported to another location and decimated them in many different places in the country. Others also witnessed Taylon/Isabella and Ianna/Arhad fighting in Bahamut in volume 12. That’s when they found out Ianna is alive.

Arhad took on a different role in the second timeline. He’s a king. He has to think about a lot of ways to protect the country they built and their people. Arhad is very intelligent. When Ianna gives him a framework of a plan, he fills in every detail, strategies, operations, etc. Even Ianna notices this about him when she saw his desk and all the battle strategies he’s devised. She wanted the war to end so that Arhad could rest from so many responsibilities. He also became impressive at defense particularly when Ianna was dead because he couldn’t do offense and defense simultaneously since only he could take on Taylon but there are the other two ladies as well. He felt it was more important to protect the precious things in Ignite. Rikijen believes that Arhad is the best king in history so far because he’s read a lot of books as a political science major and he thinks nobody else comes close. The way Arhad responded to the changed world was impressive. He knew exactly how to direct his engineers and scientists to strengthen the country. He also helped out other countries with the firm belief that it’s better to have as many countries fighting also than just Ignite alone. When you read what Arhad has accomplished in Ignite, you will understand. Ianna is more focused on the military. Arhad does everything else.
Oh, about Arhad’s wealth, well that’s really a private affair when you think about it. However, he invests in research companies in Ignite so they know he has money. Plus he’s a king (soon to be emperor) now so people probably naturally think royalty is rich. Schneider knew back in volume 8 that Arhad was probably the 500,000 gold person. So he at least know that Arhad is wealthy. After building Ignite, Arhad’s wealth is not talked about much. He’s most likely still filthy rich but we don’t hear as much about his spending now because his focus is on building Ignite. When you read about Ignite, everywhere else pales in comparison. It sounds like a place bursting with talent and technological development with the potential to be even greater in the future. The people Arhad gathered are phenomenal talents. There’s even scientific research company. Plus, most of the archmages now live in Ignite. They went there for various reasons including observing and documenting how humans and mythical races live side by side. And now the tower of truth is part of Ignite in volume 12. The country will continue to grow by leaps and bounds. It’s a wonderful accomplishment and Arhad made it happen with Ianna as his guiding light.

Just some extra clarification on Kandemayon:
She (all dragons can change their gender at will, but Kandemayon appears as a black-haired girl in her human form in the novels) only helps Bahamut to even things out because Laos interfered with their bet and helped Arhad and Ianna out first (when he helped Arhad turn back time). She's not necessarily hostile to Ianna and Arhad. She also basically wants to die, so Ianna saving her at the end probably wasn't quite her ideal outcome. If she won her bet with Laos, then Laos would have to die because she can only die if Laos dies first.

    Another note on Nissi:
Ianna realizes that Nissi is Lebony's reincarnation (with memories intact) after she wakes up from being dead/comatose. She tacitly decides not to say anything about it because their relationship (Ianna's and Nissi's) would have to change if she acknowledges it.

Hi Sephi, :) yep, I agree that the black dragon is all about balancing Laos’ actions.
He also said he helped Taylon because Arhad joined the other side. I just don’t like him and Ianna should have let him die with Taylon though I suppose she saved him because Laos asked. Well, the black dragon said he can’t die so I don’t see why Ianna wasted energy on saving him anyway. Heh. I just don’t like how his actions killed millions of people. It doesn’t seem balanced at all to me. That whole balanced thing is seriously flawed when it ignores that the lives of millions of people all over the continent who has no power are simply slaughtered without a thought as if their lives didn’t matter in the first place. I hope the new era see less involvement from gods who don’t care about human lives though I suppose the black dragon is Death/Chaos so it wouldn’t care.

Oh, I just remember Ianna had to save Kandemeyon because if he stayed in Taylon, Taylon would have been able to continue to go against the laws of nature.

By the way, I can’t wait to read the volumes over there. ;)

Remember when I said her eyes were supposed to be blue? They're blue in the newer chapters instead of the dull purple shade we saw in her first appearance.

    He finally appeared! :blobparty:

Honestly, he didn't look as good as I imagined but, he'll do for now.

OMIGOSH Saiwe appeared!!!!!!! YES! :blobxd: And Angelina appeared too! We get to see the Roanne royal family (Okay, well, I'm excited to see Saiwe and Angelina, but not Fernando. He's so dead. I'm just waiting till when.:blobangery: Schneider is so annoying in the latest manwha episodes. :blobtriumph: Also Lalatua is back!!! Poor Taro is still following her around ...
It looks like the manwha is sticking to the character descriptions. Saiwe has brown hair and violet eyes, and Angelina had mauve eyes at first but she seems to have blue eyes and silver hair like she was supposed to have now. The manwha is at Chapter 5, Volume 7. (And the manwha started in 2016 :sweating_profusely:, guess that means it'll be about four years until the manwha finishes since there are 12 volumes?)

actually at some point around 50 chapters or so of the manhwa the series stopped because of some problem with the artist (not sure about what sort of problem arised) and it only restarted recently. the change in the art was also caused by this

To be honest, the story doesn’t focus too much on Arhad’s fighting (except defense) development as it does on Ianna’s. I think the point is that Ianna is a sword nut. Arhad even admitted that he doesn’t love the sword as much as her. Arhad obviously stopped hiding his ability to use mana after he started to build and live in Ignite. In fact, in volume 12, Arhad gave the soldiers of Ignite the ability to use mana after Taylon took the ability to use mana away from the whole world except his Bahamut soldiers. Of course this doesn’t affect Ignite because the true owner of mana is Arhad and Taylon only got the ability to deny it to the world because he forced Arhad to share his heart. Taylon even got the ability to think the way Arhad thinks through heart sharing. The guy is a real parasite and true to his Bahamut origin.

No, Philliad doesn’t tell Schneider that he has an illegitimate son. He does tell Schneider that he won’t be able to beat Taylon though. However, after Ianna learns what Philliad was doing to Schneider, Arhad reflected on the time he met Philliad in the first timeline. So Arhad knows Philliad’s personality. The translation was kind of unclear but I got the impression that he wasn’t too hostile to Arhad when they met. I honestly forget at times that the man is Arhad’s father and the other two are his siblings. They see each other as enemies so I really do forget that. The strange thing is that if Arhad and Ianna has a kid, in a way the Bahamut still has descendants. I try to think that Arhad has more Roygen blood and Ianna has Roberstein blood to wash away Bahamut blood. lol

He’s the crown prince Fernando’s brother. He’s considered a prince who cannot inherit the throne because he does not have silver hair and silver eyes but he has a birth secret that only he and his biological father knows. His father is really the former personal knight to his mother Luria. He looks like his mother so that’s why nobody realizes it not even the emperor’s child. However, his biological father realized that Saiwe is his son and protected him from both the mother and the rest of the royal family.

Saiwe is also Van from Casmastros and he will become the leader of culture in Ignite just like he formerly was in Bahamut in the first timeline. This time, however, he will meet Priscilla, fall in love and marry her. They are the first couple of important characters to marry in Ignite. Saiwe was instrumental in exposing the evil deeds of his mother and brother Fernando.

Thanks for such a long spoiler I m soo happy ianna didn't give any shit to that roberstein family well done ianna infact
I don't like harchen also that much since he knows past very well yet instead of giving flowers to give a good face he really didn't did anything for ianna to protect her from maids bully especially from his own mom's maid not even defended her or seriously taken any stand for her but act as if he is such a sweet bro to her, infact sarache is not anything different she acts like an angel but she knows what her maids are doing but didn't bother to stop them she rather ask them to act as a spy to look after ianna and sometimes acts like a pushover towards ianna which ianna sometimes find annoying and cherno is seriously a M when fl stopped looking at him at that time he started to notice her, when she got her own way and doing so well without his family name he is basically like ianna is my daughter don't badmouthed her blah blah (man she don't need your name at all but your name only a burden to her)his whole toned completely change wow where are u people seriously when your house's servants and workers are badmouthing her and spreading wrong rumors about her you didn't even try to stop them but in grand festival this family sat on top vip seats like a proud family and sarache was acting so worried oh no how our ianna will fight in this crowd will she be ok blah blah started as a worried mother then in next cherno 'I feel guilty when I look you'etc.etc. drama
I have seen many people wanted ianna to get along with her family but why should she just because now they're officially started respecting her that's why when she actually needed them no one supported her but today people are standing in line to help her and she don't need such a so called family's help or support
Even if someone says in past cherno and herace tortured her since she killed sarache but it's a common sense a child is not capable to kill someone hence her mother only one who is the culprit but that cherno especially without any brain cell abused her n blamed her but in begining of present also he was scolding her for no reason n didn't give any shit when damaged is already done to ianna he want to get along with her but seriously didn't done anything to help her in his own house.
To me ianna is a very logical character how much respect she had given cherno and sarache while talking with them politely with a smile and forgive them I don't think they even deserves this much especially cherno who always used to throw lebony's frustration and hatred on a little girl who is basically his own child

@darkcrystal , Ianna has totally written off her father and the rest of the family.
It’s just that with Harchen, he was faithful in sending her Adonis flowers (eternal happiness) and other flowers which was his way of showing he cared especially after he realized what his family did to Ianna as she grew up from a small child. While Ianna constantly rejected him, he still sent flowers. I guess, in a way, he tried to do better although he knew Ianna would resist because she has all her memories of the first timeline.

Harchen also said that nobody would listen to him as a kid when he tried to get them to change their attitude towards Ianna. Instead they increased their ill treatment of Ianna so it was like he made her situation worse. He said a lot of things to Ianna in volume 11 so maybe when it’s translated you will see why Ianna treats him differently to the rest of the family. They even apologized to each other because Ianna did kill him in the first timeline.

The bottom line is, Ianna has accepted that she doesn’t need the Roberstein family. She thinks Arhad’s love for her is so deep, so unconditional, so overflowing....that it makes up for all the love she never got from her family in both timelines. She even thinks that maybe that was the price she had to pay for his love.
