    They pick up a book, drop it, and then don't let anyone else translate it. It sits untranslated for a year or two, they pick it up again, and then drop it again.

    This doesn't happen with all books, but some of the books I like are victims to this practice

    What bothers me the most on Webnovel is that you can't really search for novels (there are no filters). Not to mention that it has no dark mode (aside from when you're reading).

    (I mean, we are talking about the site Webnovel... right?)

    And what's with their front page and all the wishy-washy categories like "Potential Starlet", "Encouraging Novels", "Promising Novels", "Potential Entrant". What's the difference between encouraging novels and promising novels? o_O

    Those categories don't inspire confidence, do they? More like "Probably Gonna Be Dropped", "Potentially MTL"...

    I don't think I hate them now. I just choose not to associate myself with their works, either legally or illegally. If I hated them actively, I guess I would going around asking people not to support them. but that's not for me.

    I agree this bothers me a lot more than the dropped translations. There isn't even a proper way to access the tags for god's sake! You have to go to a novel and click on see all near the tag list.
