Whichever country where you don't have to work as much to pay for life necessities.

People with high bills to pay don't seem very free to me. If their job treats them badly, they are not free to walk away from it, but have to accept it or lose their home (because can't pay rent or mortgage) and have difficulty paying for food, until they somehow find a different job that will hopefully be better.

Even if you have free speech, if most regular people are too tired or don't have time to get involved in politics/movements, they're not really getting to take advantage of that freedom much anyway.

ya'll needa stop lying about new zealand being free.... they're obviously slaves to sheep. Humans are a minority there by a landslide and their laws make you have to cede to sheep.

The US has a lot of freedoms, but it then has dumb laws that says you can't just drink in public. No country is free, which is why I'm going to get rich and make my own country in the future.

Japan is definitely not that free. Like Japan is a huge dick to foreigners(not that the US isn't a dick either, hence why I said US isn't all that free either), with cops regularly harassing you for your documents while you're casually going about in public.

well, the idea of freedom is personal. each person has their own subjective view of what freedom stands for and means.
be it self taught, or environmental influence.

for me it's china. despite the cameras on every corner, I feel safe knowing I won't get robbed, stabbed, or some other bs.
the salary I get is also a plus compared to the living standards. so I can travel more often and explore things I usually couldn't. that's also a freedom of sorts.

    Freedom is an illusion.
