Chapter 63 didn’t have much development. Spoiler: Chapter 63 Luchen and Hail arrived at the North city and it was snowing. It reminded Luchen of when she first met Lian/Ryan (Hail’s first life) and she asked Hail whether he likes snow. He said he likes whatever she likes. Then Hail had to leave for negotiations so he told Luchen to rest. However, she went for a short walk around the hotel and saw Count Gray talking to a few people. She then tried to follow him but lost him at a festival because she bumped into someone. The man she bumped into was drunk and started harassing her, thinking she is an “escort”, but Hail showed up and saved her. I think she was playing along, pretending to go with Hail because he was richer? Just to get rid of the other guy. Hail got him to scram and they went back to the hotel. Like I said, nothing interesting. I have a few questions on the raws ahead: Spoiler: Questions on raws Ch 67: From what I saw from thumbnails, Felix must have visited his mother (The former queen)? Does anyone know what happened there? Also, I heard in the comments that there was a cliffhanger? I heard something about an explosion at the end of ch 67 in the comments? 68: What happened? Everyone looked so alarmed. Also, why is Luchen’s hair suddenly longer in the thumbnails? I read that Hail recovered memories of his past life in the comments? I will be very grateful if someone can tell me. I don’t want to wait 5 weeks for the chapters to become free.
To answer your question Spoiler: spoiler chp 67 & 68 • felix visited his mom... his mom has gone insane and thought felix was her husband then she is talking about how she wanted to get revenge by killing the bastian family and wanted to get felix to be the crown prince • well there's someone who blows up the palace and there's also poison gas in there • i don't know if hail recovered his memory but he did remember valentine before he died. Yes he died because of his injury and the poison gas. So luchen cried and check that he died, she cried... she doesn't want to lose hail again then a light came out from her (her powers probably) after that she kisses him. Then hail saw a glimpse of valentine and waking up seeing luchen hair get longer and called her valentine. So maybe he did remembered it somewhat...
Spoiler: Chapter 64 Nothing much happened. Hail got a little jealous, asking Luchen whether she would leave him for someone more handsome and rich because of the stunt she pulled to get rid of that lecherous man. After she reassured him, they kissed and was seen by count Gray from a distance. Later, she was reading about the first god child and felt sad for him. Hail asked her to go for a walk and she asked to go to the cave where the first god child was found. Apparently, before Valentine was punished by god, god said if she wants to speak to him, she has to go to the cave and call for him. Spoiler: Chapter 65 They went to the cave and Luchen started talking about the first god child. She mentioned how Ryan might have been waiting for someone (Valentine) when the people who found him took him away. Hail said that even though this place was where the tragedy of god’s children started, he viewed it favorably because he and Luchencias had their first kiss there in the past. (Lol, OMG Hail!) Luchen got flustered and tripped. Hail tried to catch her, but both of them fell into lake inside the cave. They started laughing, then making out, then it is implied that they snusnu. Later, when Hail was asleep, Luchen got dressed and walked back to the lake again. She called out to someone to stop watching and show themselves, and god appeared! (God is a peeping Tom apparently) God remarked how shocking it was that Luchen was the type of person to whisper so sweetly and lovingly to another and mentioned how she never treated god that way. (There were theories that god was obsessed with Valentine and was also jealous of Valentine’s affection for Ryan, and it seems that this might be true) Then, Luchen bowed and greeted god formally. God asked her what she came here for. That’s all. The official raw is on hiatus until March 3 so this is all the free chapters I can get from the Indonesian translation until then.
So, the Korean raws are updating again, but not the Indonesian raws. Luckily, someone uploaded the last five chapters of the Indonesian raws to a website so I was able to read it for free. Spoiler: Ch 66 Nothing much happened here. God told Luchen that Hail’s suffering was caused by humans, not by God himself. Honestly, I feel like he’s gaslighting her into blaming herself before offering to take her back into heaven, which Luchen refused. Felix visited the fake princess and told her of the accident that will befall Hail. She got alarmed but Felix reassured her that Hail is too strong to die by that and it will be beneficial to her. The fake princess questioned about god’s child and Felix mentioned that the Lohas palace, where Luchen lives, is where the god’s children are kept. He then asked to see the dethroned queen. Spoiler: Ch 67 Felix always assumed that his mother hated him and used the Bastian to kill him because he was not a child born of legitimate marriage like Luchencias. However, it was the opposite. The queen loves Felix and hates Luchencias because of their fathers. The dethroned queen was crazy and mistaken Felix for Felix’s father, Walter. She laughed and said that she will kill her legitimate husband, Luchencias’s father who killed Walter so he could marry the queen, and make Felix the emperor. At that time, Hail went into the meeting and a bomb went off. Spoiler: Ch 68 Poison gas and fire was everywhere and Hail was the only one alive. Count Gray showed up and told him to die. A pillar fell on Hail and killed him. Luchen ran into the wreckage and found Hail, but he wasn’t breathing. Luchen thought that she can’t lose him again and a light came out of Luchen. She kissed Hail and he woke up, suddenly having a flashback of being Ryan saved by Valentine. Luchen's hair also great past her shoulder and became curly like in her past life. Spoiler: Ch 69 Hail woke up in bed and asked Luchen if she was ever named Valentine in her previous life. Luchen admitted it and said that she was warned not to interfere with human lives, but she saved Ryan back then, and now she saved Hail, so God will give them a worse punishment. She asked Hail not to forgive her because everything was her fault, but Hail said she was the one saving him every time and he won’t resent her for something that happened in a past he doesn’t remember. One of Hail’s aide ran in, saying the plague struck again. Spoiler: Ch 70 Felix had a flashback to when he secretly met with Hail and gave him some confidential documents. In exchange, Felix begged to see the real princess. He and Marquis Bastian was sure that the real princess Luchencias was held captive by Hail and Felix wanted to save his sister while Marquis Bastian wanted to use her. There was meeting where everyone tried to discuss what to do. Hail was in charge of the artificial vaccines, but he was injured. Marquis Bastian said that they still have Luchencias, a God’s child, but he also heard rumors of the princess being a fake. So they called the princess in. Felix was startled to see Luchen's accompanying the fake and noticed that her hair is different. The princess immediately announced the cancellation of her engagement to Hail, and Luchen was shocked because she can’t figure out what she is planning. However, Marquis Bastian said he doesn’t care about her wedding and he wants to talk about the plague. Also, he questioned whether the princess heard about the rumors of a fake princess? The fake princess panicked, realizing it was a trap. Sadly, that’s all the free raws I can access since Kakao.id hasn’t updated despite the raws being four chapters ahead. Good news: The official English translation is catching up to post-hiatus chapters Spoiler: Chapter 71 The fake princess realized that Princess Luchencias was a god's child and she thought she was going to get caught because Marquis Bastian prepared a holy water test. Fake princess freaked out when Marquis Bastian's men tried to force her to take the test, but Hail interrupted them. He angrily admonished the people for daring to question the Princess legitimacy and said they were disrespecting the crown. He reminded them of when the princess collapsed before due to losing too much blood. He made the fake princess take the test himself and deliberately slashed his own hand a little so when the fake princess's blood drip into the holy water, his own blood drip down along with it, causing the holy water to glow. Marquis Bastian was shocked and realized that he fell into Hail's trap. He called out for Felix but Felix was missing. Hail had his men arrest Marquis Bastian and his men for treason (claiming the princess was a fake). One of the men tried to latch on to the fake princess and beg for mercy, but Luchen tried to force him to let go. The man got mad and shove Luchen and Hail shot the man in the arm. Spoiler: Chapter 72 Hail was furious because the man shove Luchen pretty hard and she crashed into the wall. Luchen realized that Hail was about to kill the man which would be bad for his reputation because the man was unarmed, so Luchen ran in front of Hail and asked him to stop. Hail angrily stated that the man tried to harm the princess (he was talking about Luchen, but people assumed he was talking about the fake princess because the man tried to grab onto her before shoving Luchen). Luchen said that she was fine and asked that they leave and go somewhere alone. Hail agreed and hand over his gun, which Luchen gave to the major (Hail's aide) asked him to take care of the cleanup as Hail's wound got infected. (Lol, the look on the fake princess's face as she saw Hail being tender to Luchen and the look on the major's face when Luchen calmed Hail down) Later, when the two were alone, Hail confessed that he was furious with them since they were the one to push Luchencias to near death for her blood. He was furious and wanted to punish them for her, but Luchen said she doesn't want revenge. Hail admitted that he dreamed of taking his revenge on them and asked her if she was going to leave him for having such a violent wish. Luchen said she would never leave him. When Hail fell asleep, Luchen went to his office to see if she can help him. She admitted that Marquis Bastian's men were a big threat to her, but disrespecting the crown is not enough of a crime to punish them permanently. Felix showed up to see Hail, but Luchen told him Hail was asleep. Felix was a little curious about her and Hail's relationship and how Luchen's appearance changed after going to the North city (her hair grew out). Luchen questioned Felix about whether he knew that the bombing at North city and he admitted that he did, but he was glad that she was okay. He also admitted that he was working with Hail to get rid of Marquis Bastian because he was not his son; he was the son of the Empress (Luchencias's half-brother).
Good news, chapter 74 updated today! Spoiler: Chapter 73 Felix confessed that he approached Marquis Bastian for revenge. When Luchen prodded him about Count Gray, Felix said that he allied with Count Gray so vaccines can be distributed fairly instead of the monopoly. Count Gray was also the one who caused the pandemic this time. However, that was before he found out the vaccines came from the sacrifice of his sister. Luchen was about to confess her identity, but the major interrupted and accused Felix of being a traitor. Turns out, the dethroned empress showed up and accused Hail of killing the princess and using a fake princess to take over the throne (ironically, that was similar to the plot of readymade queen). She proved that the fake princess was fake when the second blood test failed. She also introduced Felix as her illegitimate son and wanted to make him the heir, then demanded that the commander and the fake princess be executed. However, Luchen shouted out for them to stop. Spoiler: Chapter 74 Luchen claimed that the empress doesn’t have the right to make such orders. The empress was angered by the insults, but Luchen quoted from the holy scripture that only the one with the ability to make vaccines is the rightful ruler. She asked the priest to bring two cups of holy water and cut the empress’s hand to test her blood and proved that the empress doesn’t have the blessing of god. When the empress threatened to hang her, Luchen tested her own blood and proved that she was the blessed child of god and claimed that she has the right to lead the empire. One maid bowed down to her and ask for her help to save her mother. Luchen agreed and also freed the commander so he can help with the distribution of vaccines. She also sent orders to the ministers to prepare for an emergency and made plans to make new vaccines. Everyone was dazzled by her decisiveness and kindness. The fake princess was confined to her room. When the priest asked Hail who she was, Hail replied that she was princess Luchencias. Spoiler: Future spoilers I think Count Gray might be god in disguise and I think he proposed to Luchen in one of the raws. So the comments were correct; God was possessive of Luchen and jealous of Hail. Do y’all want me to include images of the fake princess’s expressions when she starts to lose everything?
Spoiler: Analysis Analysis: I think the reason why she used her blood and the holy scripture as a claim to the throne instead of claiming to be Luchencias is because she was doubtful of whether people would believe her identity as Princess Luchencias since her appearance changed so much. Also, I think she is trying to change the policy of succession. You can see that the imperial power is weakening and Luchen is taking the right of succession from the royal bloodline and giving it to the children of god. This will give Hail the right to the throne in his future lives. It will also ensure that the children of god will never be exploited and used for their blood ever again. That was an ingenious way to turn the curse of being god’s child into a blessing.
Spoiler: Ch 75 The former empress was shooked and asked Luchen who she was in a trembling voice. Luchen whispered in her ear that she had let her down even in the very end and called her mother. The empress fainted in shock when after calling her Luchencias. The false princess was panicking over her situation and was contacted by a man of Count Gray. Count Gray is now the archduke of Seren, and he wanted Tina to bring Luchen to him. He gave her a picture of Gilotte to blackmail Luchen. He also promised to make Tina the queen of Seren after Seren gain its independence, but I’m sure that is a lie. I hate Tina very much. Spoiler: Ch 76 The former empress claimed that Luchencias returned to life and was begging Felix to remove Luchen from power so she won’t get the throne. She said she should have never given birth to a child with Bastian blood. Felix was angry and questioned her if she really forced Luchencias to death. She said the child of god is fated to die, but Felix pointed out that the plague outbreak five years ago both strengthened the imperial power and got rid of Luchencias so the empress killed two birds with one stone by working with count Gray. The empress also talked about sacrificing a village to test out the plague or to create an outbreak or something. Felix got even angrier because many innocent people died and he was even hiding in that village. The empress was shocked because she almost killed her own son. Felix said that he will abolish the imperial family and create a republic and the people of that village will bring the imperial power to its knees. The empress cried out that everything she did was for him, but he brush her off. After he left, the empress died of shock or heart attack. Meanwhile, Luchen was giving out blood. The high priest accepted Hail’s claim that Luchen was princess Luchencias and warned Hail not to let her accident happen again. Hail said he won’t lose her again. He also told Luchen that after everything is over, they will do whatever she want, even to let go of the throne and live a quiet life by the sea. All she has to do is to stay by him. That was foreshadowing right there. Poor Hail, he’s going to lose her to Count Gray’s schemes in a few chapters. In chapter 79-80, Luchen is forced into an engagement with count Gray. There is another hiatus after chapter 80 and the story won’t resume until August. She better end up with Hail or I will drop this!!!
Spoiler: Chapter 77 They had a funeral for the empress, who died of a heart attack after arguing with Felix. Luchen told Hail that she want to give the throne to Felix and live a quiet life by the sea with Hail. She asked Felix to see her after the funeral, but while waiting for him, Tina came and showed her the picture of Gillotte and made her go to Seren with her. Spoiler: Chapter 78 Felix went to see Hail, demanding for his sister. Hail was confused because Luchen was supposed to tell him her identity. Hail learned that Luchen never met up with Felix and was now missing. When Felix asked why they were calling Luchen ‘her highness’, Hail said Luchen was his sister. Meanwhile, Tina and Luchen arrived at Archduke Gray’s place. Tina was smug, expecting Archduke Gray to marry her, but he had his soldiers threw her out, saying she was nothing but a street urchin. He then addressed Luchen as the real thing, and Tina was shocked to learn that Luchen was the real Luchencias. Sadly, I did not get to see her despair much because she was dragged out soon after Archduke Gray warned her not to do anything funny and to live quietly like a shadow. Luchen then addressed Archduke Gray as god, having figured out his identity. Spoiler: Chapter 79 Luchen asked him why he was doing this. He answered that he was curious by why Luchen love humans so much so he entered a human’s body to have a taste. He wanted Luchen to marry him and live her last life in the highest position in the world, but Luchen doesn’t want that. He admitted that he tried to separate her from Hail. She was upset because he promised not to hurt Hail. Gilotte entered the room with a cup of tea. Luchen ran over to her and was alarmed at how despondent and empty Gilotte was. God said that he gave her tea after she wouldn’t stop crying about her brother so she would forget. He then told Luchen if she doesn’t want Gilotte to be hurt, she should drink the tea and forget Hail. Meanwhile, Felix was incredulous about Luchen being his sister, but Hail pointed out that she was a child of god like his sister and she had the same allergy and memories as Luchencias. Felix seemed to be convinced, then someone reported that Tina and a priest was missing. They realized that she went to Seren. A message arrived, saying that the princess is seeking asylum in Seren. Spoiler: Chapter 80 After getting thrown out, Tina wandered the slums and tried to find food at a tavern, but everyone inside was dead, probably from the plague. She freaked out. Luchen was sitting despondent in the garden after drinking the amnesia tea. Josephina, Archduke Gray’s pink haired daughter who had a crush on Luchen, found her and was shock to learn that she’s a woman. Archduke Gray warned her not to touch Luchen again or appear in the garden he made for Luchen. Josephina tearfully ran off. Luchen asked if that girl was his daughter (the tea made her forget everything), but the archduke said not to worry about her as he’s marrying his daughter off soon. Gilotte appeared with a cup of amnesia tea. In a distance, Josephina started questioning if Luchen act nice to her to get close to her father and if he’s the reason why her father changed. Gilotte, seemingly normal, scolded her, saying she’s wrong and leave Luchen alone, causing Josephina to get flustered. Meanwhile, news of Seren declaring independence from the Logos empire and his engagement to the princess swept through the empire. Spoiler: Analysis I think Gilotte is pretending to be under the influence of the tea, so Luchen might be too because Gilotte was the one who offered the tea, but I am not certain. Also, I think Count Gray had his daughter before god possessed his body, so god is trying to get rid of his daughter by marrying her off. But why would god possess a middle aged man with a daughter to marry Luchen? Because of his position? Couldn’t he have possessed a younger body? Josephina is close to Luchen’s age and Luchen is going to become her stepmother!
Am I the only one who found the setting of having two complete different fl's but turns out they r the same person(or soul) despite having different personalities(and obv appearance) and the fl just suddenly do a little 180 and change her whole personality after the princess died so weird..?? I can't rlly find the right word. But it got a bit interesting after that so it's so-so ig.
