How would you change how you live your life if life was like a video game where you respawn back at home after dying?
No, I’m not going to go around doing dangerous things just because I can respawn afterwards. I hate pain.
Nothing would be different, I'd avoid dying so I don't get caught and dissected or something by the government and because dying is bad. The era we're living in isn't really one where being able to respawn is very useful for normal people especially when abuse of the ability will eventually get noticed and you can get caught/spawn-camped and used for research.
Well obviously I would gather with friends to dismantle each other and give out blood, retina, hair and organs to the Red Cross
I also dislike pain and I have to agree with @brigs11 that we're living in an era where that "function" would be utterly useless.
Reminds me of the manhwa, "Revival man". Unfortunately, the guy flexed his ability too much he literally got dissected in his own respawn point...
On other hand, you can just kill the person who needs those so they resurrect with all the required organs. No more need of organ donation.
I guess it depends on how it's done, what happens to the corpse, does it stay or disappear? There's still organ rejection to consider even then, so there is still a need, not to mention logistics.
Considering it will be their own body, apart from some super specific conditions (which I am assuming should be rare? Dunno, not a med student.), the organs should work properly out of the box and there wont be a rejection (as they are your very own organs, made of your own cells and DNA and all). As the organ generation is done through resurrection, there is no need of implanting or storage, so logistics are pretty much unnecessary. The only thing required would be I guess a drug to induce coma / unconsciousness + painless poison / Artery slicers. Of course this is assuming resurrection results in going back to an optimal body but then again the original post wanted to duplicate organs through resurrection so this assumption is a requirement in both cases.
I agree with @Napelynn Though, I would like to jump off a building once just too see how the wind feels like. indoor skydiving is too expensive
If I could respawn at my last save point and time. I may commit suicide a lot. The pain of the sudden stop after jumping out of a plane. Maybe painful, but what a thrill. The fear of death removed. Fear in general now lost forever. I would do anything I wanted
