You should read Traumatized Boy. It is similar, but unfortunately on hiatus at 13 chapters.

 

Then why recommend something that's on "hiatus" and its not even a long one

 

Not only MC has been through psychological traumas his whole life starting with childhood abandonment. He also had a possible traumatic brain injury which may explain some of his extra "quirkiness". it's a miracle MC is as functional as he is considering his upbringing and not a complete head case.

Reading this is like watching a train wreck happening in slow motion. You can't help but keep watching.

 

Looks like Yuki became a functional psychopath with all the traumas, head injuries and drama that he went through. The fact that his probable illness is the only thing holding him together and how he is not accepting a shallow reconcillation puts this novel at the top of my list.

THis is what I hoped those Edgy School Life Dramas would turn out to be.

Yeah and it makes more for Yuki to have closed his heart off (for fear of rejection), rather than actually being dense.

 

I wonder... Were the elder sister's sudden actions a result of desperately trying to prove her love(familial) due to words just not getting through... Or is it that she feels that there is a need for her to be his romantic partner due to no longer being able to trust any other female with him, out of fear that they may further break him...?
But considering that she's practically a living embodiment of a past trauma to him that would seem to not be the wisest of paths to pick...

I think she's desperate. No one around Yuki has helped him, only hurt. So, after the phone call, she believes Yuki will commit suicide after high school (or something along those lines).

 

Wow thats depressing, i mean i probably would do the same things as Akito if i found out that the girl i was supposed to confess to says to your face that she has a boyfriend, i mean staying friends with that person is just painful to be around basically (unless you're an M)

 

They're all too late basically, everything they say and do is useless, the mc thinks that its either out of pity for him or some ulterior motive.

I am appalled that the people around him haven't talked about the problem with Yuki (though they mistrust each other that the other will further hurt the mc resulting in them making individual moves and making things worse as it is).

 

I agree, the people around him are even more pitiful to look at tsk tsk
