Recently, after using Violet as my avi, it has come to my notice that a lot of people who watch anime DO NOT KNOW WHO SHE IS!! WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING!? Go watch it now!! NOW! The anime is called - Violet Evergarden One of the most emotional anime ever! It's the story of Violet Evergarden, a young girl who grew up during the Great war. Caught up in the bloodshed, Violet was a young girl raised for the sole purpose of decimating enemy lines. Hospitalized and maimed in a bloody skirmish during the War's final leg, she was left with only words from the person she held dearest, but with no understanding of their meaning. Watch how she slowly comes to terms with the loss of her most important person while striving to learn what emotions mean and how they can change her life.
I didn't realise it's violet coz it's chibi form On a side note, I love that anime. But my sister said she doesn't like it coz the story was slow Comfort my poor soul who couldn't share my love for anime because the people nearby can't appreciate it
Don't worry you have us, who have also cried and smiled at the same moments as you while watching it!
That's waht drew me at first. Violet is simply breathtakingly beautiful. Then after watching the anime, it felt like I saw one of the best character growth after a long long while.
I don't know where I read or watched them but a lot of the stories in violet evergarden are reused, especially the one where the mother wrote letters to her daughter to be received after the mother died.
Well it's a nice idea and I'm sure someone definitely used it before irl. But it's not like real life situations can't inspire a writer right?
tbh, not a lot of shows can surprise me with originality anyway. I don't have expectations in that aspect so I might simply liked VE for the story flow.
I wanted to watch the movie in theaters so badly :´) I literally cried during at least half of the episodes, it hits you right in the feels
It's a nice series but the easy detach arms during the fortress fight were a real turn off. Hey, come on, arms don't come off that easily!
No. Actually amputation of limbs was a pretty common solution that medieval people used to use to avoid infection when wounds aren't attended to for a long time. It's much worse if it spreads. Also I think they could have made it more brutal but it was shown in a more tame way to stop it from becoming too bloody and violent.
I mean the part where once she got shot in the shoulder, the whole arm detached. It's not amputation but literally quick detach arms like it was from a Barbie doll. And I'm talking about the series, not the movie. Not to mention I don't recall any amputation scene in the show, it was "*BANG! Oh my arm dropped off...", no hospital scene of that sort.
