Holographic customer service seems like it could be a painful job. But for meetings it could work. But not full body, let people sit down please. Probably will be used for entertainment. They have those holographic singers already for awhile now. Maybe this will be like that? Probably mostly used as an assistant though. Or maybe in the future it will be an A.I. therapist
Well there is things like robotic notes and the new bladerunner film that play with the idea of a future with holographic and augmented realit, however the problem of holographic is that is so heavenly dependent on the specific box where it can work and most of them only in a specific angle, in the very same video when the camera show the side shoot you can see the 2d-ness of the character. Meanwhile the AI isn't advanced enough to hold a true pseudo sentience so people would go way beyond to have a avatar to react to your words and action and so be more willing to spend more money on it.
