Discussion Favorite BL novel

But out of those 4, I've only read SVSSS and FOD~

 

Other than QWFOD, I haven't read the rest.

Currently my favorite is The General's Vampire Omega. Which really surprised the heck out of me. I never thought it would be as good as it was. There was character growth, an interesting and multilayered plot, and the MC and ML respected each other.

Rn i like Black butterfly and House of sweets

 

My favs are Heaven's Official Blessing and 2ha, mdzs is third on the list.

 

Swallowing the Seas, The Earth is Online, Thriving In Catastrophe, Surprise! The Talent Show is Actually--, and finally Little Mushroom are all stuck vividly in my head. But if I had to pick one...The Earth is Online still remains as my top love.

Ok voted for FOD cause its an old favorite, but also these two are really amazing:

I have medicine: its a SLOW long burn. It's been 268 chapters translated RN and they still haven't had their gay awakening. But this one is sooooo good
Everyone knows I'm a good person: QT very fast pace, ML is made of brain holes and I love it. We got the classic BL thirsty MC. Its really amazing and you just got to smile while reading.

 

I really like Criminal Psychology and pretty much any BL investigation/mystery series. Global University Entrance Examination and similar death game/mystery series are also in my favs. I really like mystery/psychological thriller stories, so I mostly read BL when I want some romance in those stories, too.

From the top of my head, Heart of Glass, I think I'll never forget it, ever. I'm also really in love with Bite Your Fingertips, Accidental Mark, and Pastel Colours currently. There's so much more but I'll leave it at this lol

 

Feng Yu Jiu Tian is my favorite series. It’s sexy. It’s charming. It’s passionate. But the translations are lacking, sadly.

QWTFOD is overrated, imo. The main character is robotic. The love interest is boring. The villainous characters are 2D and disposable. It prioritizes quantity over quality.
