Discussion academia is very depressing, or so it seems

One of my internet pseudonyms is called "I am trash". It's not because I hate myself but this name is very convenient for trolling on the internet (don't judge me). this is what I saw and I felt I had to share. Academia must be a very tough place, huh

 

Reminds me: anime is trash and so am I. Maybe they're all secret weebs; the philosophy of AI researcher is definitely sus.

 

Hey, it's up to you if you want to consider yourself trash, but don't get anime roped in man.

 

In the eyes of mother nature, all things are equal. You, me, trash, there is no difference.

 

honestly, it can be quite very depressing. especially in the current pandemic situation.

 

I instantly feel attacked. The world of science is a scary place. Only the strongest can survive.

I actually referred to the image. I feel attacked because it's like the image speaks to me.

But I suppose it's not totally wrong in real life. I would say that if you want to jump into the world of science, you must really have the passion, not merely for prestige.
